Cocoweet - only Twitter, nothing more

This is not really a program, but browser add-on Google Chrome. Very minimalist, I must say, but I liked it. I liked the application, but in search of something more functional, I moved on.

TweetDeck - a jack of all trades

There is a version as a separate program for Windows, there is an application for Google Chrome, you can work with TweetDeck directly from the site. In any case, the functions are identical; the choice depends only on the user’s preferences. First the bad news: the program has flaws. First: it requires registration to work account at tweetdeck.com. To do this, when you first start, click on Create Account, enter your e-mail and the password you created for this service. You will then have to enter it again on the login page. And only then can you enter logins and passwords from Twitter and Facebook (yes, this social network is also supported). The second drawback is that there is only an English-language interface. Good news: looks exactly as I needed:

MetroTwit - spectacular Twitter

Conclusion: the program is beautiful, but requires configuration and is quite stupid to be annoying every time you start it and when working in general. Russian-language interface does not have.

DestroyTwitter - powerful and convenient

The official page of the program, there will also be a download link. But first you need to install Adobe AIR. I won’t consider this a disadvantage of the program, because Adobe AIR is enough useful component, allowing programs to work in different operating systems(in particular, MacOS and Windows), plus it does not harm the operation of other programs at all. I have been using this program since the first beta versions. Unfortunately, it was raw enough to be deleted and forgotten like a bad dream. Conclusion: DestroyTwitter is functional, convenient program, requiring configuration. You can use it, there are no complaints about the work.

Twhirl - functional Twitter client

The program can be downloaded from the official website, but, as with the previous client, you must first install Adobe AIR. Twhirl - very functional program. There is integration with accounts of services that I have never heard of (laconi.ca, Friendfeed, etc.), and powerful capabilities for shortening links using the services digg.com, bit.ly, snurl, twurl, is. gd, and much more. The program has one drawback - it has an English-language interface.

Even if you talk about every point in the program, it will be difficult for a beginner to navigate without knowledge of English.
