You will say: this is how it is assembled in China! And you'll be right. Everything is assembled in China - not just ours. All iPhones are also assembled in China. And the lion's share of Samsung. And Sony. There are also production facilities in Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Taiwan. In general, in Europe and the USA there have been almost no assembly plants for a long time.

That's why we're on trend. The main thing is that we have business and heads. And in China - just hands. So, 10 Russian smartphones!

*or almost Russian: some of these are simply adapted Chinese originals under our networks. But it's indicated in the captions

The majority of Russian users mobile technology I’m sure: domestic smartphones are a myth, they don’t exist. In part, such users are right - in the sense that mobile gadgets are not assembled in Russia. The lion's share of all smartphones is assembled in China - and these are not only devices from “no-name” companies with unpronounceable names, but also devices from Apple, Sony, and Samsung. What can you do if China has the cheapest labor?

Another thing is that there are Russian smartphone manufacturing companies. There are quite a few of them, and the devices they develop are quite good. About leading Russian brands and popular models We will tell you about domestic manufacturers in this article.

Yota company, founded back in 2007, gained all-Russian fame only in last years. First of all, the company is positioned as a provider cellular communication and a manufacturer of high-tech 4G equipment. However, Yota also has a department that develops its own mobile gadgets - this is YotaPhone, opened in 2011.

Yota has chosen a different strategy for distributing its smartphones than other domestic providers like MTS and Megafon. While the representatives " big three“offer very modest gadgets with SIM-Lock for “priceless”, Yota does not seek to tie customers to its own SIM card and is actively introducing innovations.

YotaPhone 2

Smartphone YotaFon 2 was presented at MWC exhibition in Barcelona, then appeared at the traditional international CES event in Las Vegas. The gadget was awarded at both exhibitions. The smartphone was worth noting at least for its uniqueness - for 2017 it is the only gadget in the world, having two screens.

The presence of two screens is not just a useless “bell”: the innovation has practical significance.

The second screen, located on the rear edge of the device, is made using technology E-Ink– this technology is most often used to create e-books.

The user can view the time, check the weather forecast or received SMS messages without “lighting up” the main screen - this helps save device power. YotaPhone 2 does not look like a “whipping boy” and general parameters: the smartphone is equipped with a 5-inch “main” FullHD display, a camera with a resolution of 8 megapixels and 2 GB random access memory.

Where can I buy Russian smartphones Yota Devices?

Finding a cellular smartphone from Yota Devices on sale is not an easy task: not every cellular network distributes these gadgets. At the beginning of 2017, sales of YotaPhone were carried out by Megafon and M.Video stores, as well as online electronics stores. Yulmart" And " Online TREYD.RU" In addition, YotaPhone, of course, is sold in Yota brand stores.

Highscreen

Highscreen is trademark, company-owned Vobis Computer. This brand produces not only smartphones, but also other devices - for example, DVRs.

The best characteristics of Highscreen devices are given by the rating published in 2013 by the magazine PC Magazine. According to this rating, Highscreen gadgets, in terms of price-functionality ratio, share second place with Apple itself!

Vobis Computer focuses specifically on the functional component, and not on the external effect - therefore, the owners of Highscreen gadgets are users who value hardware more than the original ones design solutions. Vobis developers, unfortunately, pay almost no attention to design - before Highscreen smartphones and were simply copies of little-known Chinese devices. In recent years, Vobis has stopped “rebranding the Chinese,” but Highscreen smartphones with own design remain just as inconspicuous.

Highscreen Ice Max

Highscreen Ice Max– one of the youngest representatives of the Power line, whose smartphones are distinguished by long battery life and powerful batteries. Ice Max was introduced in December 2016. In MTS, Megafon, Svyaznoy, as well as in Citylink and Yulmart, Highscreen gadgets are presented.

Texet

Among domestic manufacturers, Texet is a long-living company; The year this company was founded is 2004. Seeing Texet smartphones on showroom windows, visitors are often quite surprised - they are familiar with this manufacturer from completely different devices.

Texet produces a variety of devices under its brand: e-books, clock radios, navigators, video recorders, and, most importantly, the so-called granny phones - the simplest mobile devices without an OS, but with huge buttons.

Texet smartphones “are missing stars from the sky”: the company’s share in the Russian mobile gadgets market does not even reach 1%. The devices themselves are rather inconspicuous copies of Chinese devices and, as a rule, have the only advantage over competitors - price. Texet is doing much better with sales of protected mobile phones– for avid hunters and fishermen.

Texet X-Driver Quad

Texet also has newer models in its catalog, however special attention deserves X-Driver Quad. This is one of the most inexpensive rugged smartphones present on the domestic market. Its cost is about 6 thousand rubles - compared to manufacturers’ devices Caterpillar And Land Rover, costing 20-30 thousand rubles, X-Driver Quad has a very affordable price tag.

X-Driver Quad will certainly delight any representative of the stronger sex. Particularly impressive back cover devices. Textured and containing metal plates, it is attached to the body of the gadget with steel screws - you can only disassemble a smartphone without a screwdriver if you have very strong nails. The rubberized protective inserts on the side edges of the device are also pleasing - they will save the device in the event of a fall from a great height. Another important advantage X-Driver Quad - a battery with an impressive capacity of 3100 Ma, thanks to which the gadget is rightfully classified as a “long-livers”.

4Good

4Good is the youngest domestic smartphone manufacturer; the company entered the market mobile devices only in 2015. The name of the company plays on the American expression “For good” - translated into Russian as “forever” - and very well reflects the company’s philosophy. The company does not strive to surprise customers with technical delights and innovations - it produces durable smartphones, which also have a very tempting price. At least that's what they say in the company itself.

4Good S555m

Model S555m received a lot of flattering reviews from experts mobile market. Having a more than reasonable price (about 7,500 rubles), it boasts a fairly wide range of characteristics. Main advantage S555mdisplay: With an impressive diagonal of 5.5 inches, the screen has a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels, making the smartphone convenient to use for watching movies.

Another advantage of the 4Good S555m is its polycarbonate body, which is scratch and fingerprint resistant. The case also differs in color: lovers of exotic things will certainly like the yellow-colored 4Good smartphone. More conservative users should pay attention to the black model.

Where can you buy new products from 4Good?

The manufacturer 4Good has been successfully cooperating with Beeline for a long time. Thanks to a joint promotion with a cellular provider (the essence of which was that the S450m smartphone was sold cheaper together with a Beeline SIM card), the young company 4Good managed to gain a foothold in the mobile device market. In addition to Beeline, 4Good smartphones are sold in MTS networks, as well as in the Yulmart online store.

Is Ermak a special smartphone?

In the summer of 2016, the Open mobile platform» (WMD) the first smartphone with a domestic operating system was announced Sailfish OS– the gadget was called “Ermak WMD”. Journalists vied with each other to write about this device, because for the Russian mobile market the appearance of a completely “own” smartphone is an extraordinary event.

It would seem that patriots should be happy - they will no longer have to carry a device assembled by hardworking Chinese in their pocket. But There is nowhere to buy Ermak– leading retailers M.Video and Svyaznoy have already announced that similar device is unlikely to arouse interest among the general public, and they refused to sell the Russian smartphone. The reason for this is the cost of the gadget - according to the manufacturer, a price tag of 2 thousand dollars should be put on it, which in Russian rubles is 130 thousand rubles.

Why is Ermak so good if its price is so “astronomical”?

Features of the national “gadget industry”

Externally, “Ermak”, to put it mildly, is not impressive - it looks like a guest from the past, the beginning of the “tenths”, when strict HTC models Desire, Sensation and Mozart “ruled the show”. The functionality of the device, by the way, also makes you remember those years: 1 GB of RAM, front-camera resolution 2 megapixels, old Qualcomm processor Snapdragon MSM 8960 – all this looks ridiculous, especially when compared with the leading smartphones in the modern mobile market, which cost three times less.

However, “Ermak WMD” is not designed for ordinary consumers - according to the manufacturer’s plan, users of this gadget should become civil servants.

The smartphone supports data transfer via closed channels communications, is capable of working with radio frequency tags and barcodes, is equipped with a scanner for reading fingerprints, machine-readable zones of passports and excise stamps, and can easily withstand temperatures of +60°. Such options might be useful for James Bond, but are they needed by the average consumer?

Where to buy Ermak?

"Ermak" is not sold either in retail chains or in online electronics stores- Bye ordinary users it is not available, and this somehow contradicts the words of the general director of the WMD Pavel Eiges, who promised a mass product. More attention is currently being paid possible inclusion"Ermaka" to the register of goods of original Russian origin. What will this give to the WMD company? Millions of orders from government agencies, which, according to the resolution of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, do not have the right to use foreign-made equipment for state needs. If addition to the register can be achieved, WMD will have no competitors.

Therefore, the mass market does not need Ermak, just as the mass market does not need the smartphone itself. With such a price, the gadget will definitely not be popular. Fans of domestic products should wait for the imminent release of Ermak 50 on Android - according to rumors, this smartphone will be both cheaper and more accessible.

Conclusion

Russian companies are quite widely represented in the domestic mobile device market. But buyers, alas, do not suspect this - smartphones from companies Texet, Highscreen And Explay many of them are mistakenly considered Chinese hack work. These gadgets are indeed assembled in China, but according to instructions created by Russian minds. Thanks to Chinese production mobile gadgets available to any domestic consumer. How many people would be willing to pay hundreds of thousands of rubles for a smartphone marked “Made In Russia”?

We all hear constant threats against Russia from the West: they say, we will strangle you with sanctions, expect a catch. So, while Europe and the USA are drooling at us, the Russian government, in tandem with the original inventors (the Kulibins, one might say), is creating new fantastic replicas addressed to them. IN in this case, we will talk about an attempt to ignore the “enemy manufacturer” and refuse to purchase from the domestic market Apple tablets and Samsung, replacing them with... Russian ones.

Our iPad answer

It’s hard to believe, but the production of flat technology is already in full swing. The brand that is destined to become a symbol of the youth culture of our era is called bb-mobile Techno. Oddly enough, the name is written in Latin. Moreover, the first line of devices went on sale this spring. Tablets are so similar to their direct counterparts iPad competitors, Galaxy Tab that they even put covers on them from their older brothers. Do I need to tell you that the design, the location of the central button, and even (oh, horror!) the connectors are absolutely identical in location to competitors’ products!

But here comes the most interesting thing: with all of the above, bb-mobile Techno tablets have more powerful hardware based on quad core processor. Let us remind you that the iPad mini has only 2 cores. The tablet also has built-in wireless Bluetooth modules, Wi Fi, GPS navigator to support mobile communications and download maps. There are two (!) slots for SIM cards. Externally, the tablets weren’t bad either: the body colors and, to a certain extent, the type of coating were faithfully copied from the brand new iPhone 5S. So, you can purchase the device in gold, silver or graphite variants. Weak, Apple engineers didn’t think of it before us?

How much?

Well, now we have reached the most pleasant moment: of course, the price. As you can see, even on advertising posters it is openly announced. A metal case cannot cost 4-5 thousand rubles, but with such filling, you say? Welcome to domestic market: It looks like the iron curtain is coming down again. By the way, the metal not only looks beautiful, but also hangs slightly over the screen, protecting it from scratches and cracks in the event of a fall.

The average cost really ranges from 4000 to 7000 per different models. We remind you that at the current rate you will have to pay up to 17,000 rubles for an iPad mini, and this is the most cheap model V Apple line. As the deputies who supported the domestic manufacturer quite noted, profits from sales will go into the Russian GDP, and not overseas. Which should also make you happy.

Declining consumer segment over 3 years

The study also states that prices for compact tablets(with 7-inch screens) will continue to decline, and phablets will continue to push these devices out of the market. Analysts consider another trend to be the growth in the number of large-sized models (display diagonal from 10 to 12 inches) with keyboard covers.

IDC Data

At the end of 2014, there was a reduction in the Russian tablet market by 5% - to 8.16 million units. In monetary terms, the decrease was 30.9% and reached $1.92 billion. The tablet market in its development dynamics repeats the history of the PC market. Saturation in the tablet market is happening faster than in the smartphone segment, and the update period for tablets is being extended.

Despite the overall decline in the tablet PC market, some of its categories may show positive dynamics in 2015, according to IDC. The supply of devices with a diagonal of 8 inches or more, with support voice communication and fourth generation networks.

In January 2014, Svyaznoy and Euroset published their assessments of the Russian tablet PC market over the past year. According to Svyaznoy, in 2013, about 7.2 million tablets were sold for an amount of 81.4 billion rubles, which means an increase in sales by 125% in physical terms, and by 65% in monetary terms. Euroset, in turn, provides data on 6.7 million tablet PCs sold and an increase of 107% in unit terms.

Tablets remain the fastest growing category of personal electronics in Russia and for the second year in a row are demonstrating triple-digit growth rates in units, notes Svyaznoy. The company explains a slight slowdown in growth rates in the country in unit terms by the gradual saturation of the market in Moscow and large cities. If we consider separately federal districts and small settlements, here the growth rate shows higher rates.

The average bill for tablets for the year decreased by 27% to 11.38 thousand rubles, according to data from Svyaznoy. The average cost of a tablet PC steadily decreased throughout the year: for example, at the end of the 1st half of the year it amounted to 12.527 thousand rubles, in the 3rd quarter it decreased to 11.5 thousand rubles, and at the end of the 4th quarter - to 10.32 thousand rubles . In December 2013, the cost of tablets crossed the threshold of 10 thousand rubles. – average bill on Tablet PC amounted to 9.7 thousand rubles. According to Euroset, the price reduction for tablet PCs in 2013 was 25%, to 11.6 thousand rubles.

Among the main factors that influenced average cost Svyaznoy notes, first of all, market expansion and sales growth in price segment up to 15 thousand rubles. In 2013, they went on sale quality tablets costing less than 2.5 thousand rubles, the company says. The increase in the availability of tablets on such a scale was largely made possible thanks to the form factor: more and more manufacturers on the market provide a choice of devices with a screen diagonal of less than 8.9 inches. In 2013, such devices accounted for more than 2/3 of total sales in pieces.
