Some development companies have a trial period of 1 day (personally, I don’t like such software products, they are too reminiscent of the behavior of annoying salesmen who, having clouded your consciousness with a stream of phrases, try to sell you defective goods), and some developers offer you 15 days. In general, everyone has their own policy. But what if, for some reason, you did not have time to test the product? Buy it almost blindly?

Method reuse The trial version is suitable for almost most programs, and it consists of several stages:

1. Install a trial version of the program.

2. Removing the trial version of the program (it is advisable to do it in a timely manner).

And for the NOD32 antivirus program, if step 2 is not completed on time, then step 3 (cleaning the registry with the usual registry editor, which is included in Windows kit) won't do anything.

Actually, this topic is a bit too extensive to fit into one article, so I plan to write several articles dedicated to this issue. Why this is so, you will see a little later. But, if a firewall is running on your PC, it will first ask you for confirmation to run this file, asking something like this: “Do you want to allow this program to make changes to your computer?” And only after you confirm your desire to install the program by clicking the “Yes” button, you will proceed to the next window (Fig. 7). Click the “no thanks...” button and go to a new window (Fig. 8).

Then the installation program will do all the work for you, and you can go get yourself some coffee, or just get distracted for a few minutes. When everything is ready, you will see the “Installation Complete” window (see Fig. 9). Feel free to click the “Finish” button and move on to the next window (Fig. 10).

But we disagree, and click the “continue with free protection” button and go to the main window of the program you installed on the “summary” tab (see Fig. 11).
