Stickers are a small stack of colorful leaves that reverse side They have an adhesive strip, so they can be attached to almost any surface. Stickers are used as reminders in Everyday life many people. Over time, everything changes, including the way we take notes.

We decided to devote this article to a small but very useful utility that is part of the operating system. Windows systems. The utility will help you clean workplace and transfer the stuck stickers to your desktop.

The program is called “Sticky Notes” and in turn is a free and ideal tool for organizing sticky notes on your desktop. It's nice that this utility already integrated into operating system, so install additional software you won't have to.

To begin with, we would like to remind you that we have previously reviewed convenient organizer programs that remain relevant for use to this day.

You can launch the program in three ways:

  1. Menu "Start" - "All programs" - "Standard" - "Notes".
  2. Menu "Start"- enter in the search bar "notes"- select a program.
  3. Menu "Start" - "Run..."- enter "stickynot"- press the button "OK".

After launching the program, you will see a virtual sticker on your desktop.

The plus in the upper left corner of the sticker is responsible for creating a new note, and the cross in the upper right corner is responsible for deleting the note.

The color of the sticker can also be changed. To change the color, you need to click right click mouse in the print area and select the desired color.

In general, you can create stickers like this on your desktop.

This concludes the review of the tiny but useful “Notes” utility. As you can see, this program is so simple and convenient that learning it will take place without any problems. The benefits of using virtual stickers on your desktop are certainly obvious.

In addition, we want to mention similar programs for placing notes on your desktop.

The free DeskStickers program can create stickers that you can fill with the necessary reminder. You can customize the style of each sticker, namely, you can change the drawing style, text font, add a title, icon, etc. The utility is not demanding on computer resources and takes up little space.

Liva Notes is a shareware program that allows you to place stickers on your desktop in both expanded and collapsed forms. The developers have worked hard on the original style of stickers that securely store your notes. Of course, compared to other programs, Liva Notes looks more original, but you have to pay to use it.

In addition to the programs mentioned in the publication, there are a large number of utilities of this type that can make stickers more beautiful and convenient. But their disadvantage is the need for installation when the standard “Notes” program is already integrated into the system by default.

Windows 7 introduced such a wonderful feature as stickers, but it just got its name Notes! The note program allows you to place multi-colored stickers on your desktop and write any text there (take out the trash, download a movie, buy bread, don’t sit at the computer and anything else you want).

Sticky Notes in Windows are very useful for recording tasks that you need to complete for work or school. These stickers help you remember to do important things.

For launching a note in Windows 7 need to go to Start – Control Panel – Accessories – Sticky Notes. In Eight, I launch this program using search.

A sticker (note) immediately appears on the desktop where we can write something. I wrote a note saying that I need to post a lesson on the site. This note has three buttons: create a new one, delete this one, and resize it.

And if you right-click on a note, you can change its color. 7 colors to choose from!

For variety, be sure to alternate the colors of the notes. And finally, I would like to say that all created and written notes are saved even after restarting the computer. You can also pin the program to the taskbar.

That's just deleted notes can no longer be restored, so keep that in mind.

P.S. Unfortunately, some versions of Windows 7 do not have sticky notes. If this is your case, then I have a good solution for you. You just need to download a special gadget for Seven and install it. You can download them

It's always convenient to have "Desktop" relevant notes or reminders about some important upcoming events. Their display can be organized in the form of stickers, which are displayed using gadgets. Let's study the most famous applications of this class for Windows 7.

Although the original version of Windows 7 does not have a built-in sticker gadget, it could be downloaded from the official web resource of the OS developer, Microsoft. Later, the corporation refused to support this type of application due to the increased level of PC vulnerability due to them. At the same time, it is still possible, if desired, to install sticker gadgets from other developers on your computer. We will talk about them in detail in this article, so that each user has the opportunity to choose the most suitable option to suit their taste.

Method 1: NoteX

Let's start exploring apps for organizing notes and reminders on "Desktop" with a description of the operation of the popular NoteX gadget.

  1. Run the downloaded file with the gadget extension. In the dialog box that opens, click "Install".
  2. The NoteX shell will be displayed on "Desktop".
  3. Select the text "Header" and press the button Delete on keyboard.
  4. The inscription will be deleted. After that, delete in the same way "The Title" And "Some text here".
  5. After the sticker interface is cleared of extraneous inscriptions, you can enter the text of your note.
  6. You can format your note as you please. For example, in place of the inscription "Header" you can place the date instead "The Title"- the name, and in place "Some text here"— the actual text of the note.
  7. If desired, you can change the style of the note. To do this, hover your cursor over it and click on the key icon that appears on the right.
  8. In the settings window that opens, from the drop-down list "Color" select your preferred color. Click "OK".
  9. The color of the sticker interface will be changed to the selected option.
  10. To close a sticker, move the cursor over its shell and click on the cross among the icons that appear.
  11. The gadget will be closed. But you should remember that when you open it again, the previously entered information will not be saved. Thus, the entered note is stored until the computer is restarted or NoteX is closed.

Method 2: Chameleon Notescolour

The next notes gadget we'll look at is called Chameleon Notescolour. It has great possibilities in choosing the interface design.

  1. Unpack the downloaded archive. Go to the folder "gadget", which was in it. It contains a set of “Chameleon” gadgets for various purposes. Click on the file name "chameleon_notescolour.gadget".
  2. In the window that opens, select "Install".
  3. The Chameleon Notescolour gadget interface will be displayed on "Desktop".
  4. In the Chameleon Notescolour shell, use the computer keyboard to type the text of the note.
  5. When you hover the cursor over the sticker shell, an element in the form of an icon will appear in its lower right corner «+» . It should be clicked if you want to create another sheet of notes.
  6. This way you can create an unlimited number of sheets. To navigate between them, you need to use the pagination element located at the very bottom of the Chameleon Notescolour interface. Clicking on the arrow pointing to the left will take you one page back, and clicking on the arrow pointing to the right will take you forward.
  7. If you decide that you need to delete all information on all pages of the sticker, then in this case, move the cursor to its lower left corner on any sheet and click on the element in the form of a cross. All pages will be deleted.
  8. You can also change the color of the Chameleon Notescolour interface shell. To do this, hover your cursor over it. Controls will appear to the right of the sticker. Click on the key-shaped icon.
  9. In the settings window that opens, by clicking on the icons in the form of arrows pointing to the right and left, you can select one of the six design colors that you consider the most successful. After the desired color is displayed in the settings window, click "OK".
  10. The gadget's interface color will change to the selected option.
  11. In order to completely close the gadget, hover over it and click on the cross icon that appears to the right of its interface. Just like the previous analogue, when closed, all previously entered text information will be lost.

Method 3: Longer Notes

The Longer Notes gadget is very similar in appearance and functionality to Chameleon Notescolour, but has one important difference. Its shell interface has a narrower shape.

  1. Run the downloaded file called "long_notes.gadget". In the installation window that opens, as always, click "Install".
  2. The Longer Notes interface opens.
  3. You can add any reminder to it in the same way as was done in the previous case.
  4. The procedure for adding a new sheet, navigating between pages, and clearing content are completely identical to the algorithm of actions that was described when reviewing Chameleon Notescolour. Therefore, we will not dwell on this in detail again.
  5. But the settings have some differences. Therefore, we will pay attention to them. The transition to control parameters is carried out in the same way as for all other gadgets: by clicking on the key icon to the right of the interface.
  6. Adjusting the interface color is carried out in the same way as in Chameleon Notescolour, but in Longer Notes, in addition, it is possible to change the font type and its size. To do this, respectively, from the drop-down lists "Font" And "Font Size" it is necessary to select acceptable options. After all the necessary settings have been set, do not forget to click "OK", otherwise the changes will not take effect.
  7. This will change the Longer Notes interface and the font it contains.
  8. The gadget is closed, like the analogues discussed above, by clicking on the cross icon to the right of the notes interface.

This is not a complete list of all possible sticker gadgets for Windows 7. There are many more. But there is no point in describing each of them separately, since the interface and functionality of this type of application are very similar. Once you understand how one of them works, you can easily figure out the others. At the same time, there are some minor differences. For example, NoteX is extremely simple. In it you can only change the color of the theme. Chameleon Notescolour is more complex as it allows you to add multiple sheets. Longer Notes has even more possibilities, because in this gadget you can change the font type and size of the note.

You probably know what it is stickers- these are small multi-colored square pieces of paper that have an adhesive strip on one side, and with the help of this strip they can be attached to the smooth surface of a cabinet, computer, or refrigerator. And on the other side you can write a note - a reminder of what needs to be done, or a message to another person. The sticker is placed in a visible place so that it catches your eye at the right time.

In the operating system Windows7 There is a built-in program that allows you to make virtual stickers - notes on the desktop of your computer. This program is called - Notes. You can find it through the menu Start - All Programs - Accessories - Sticky Notes . If you wish, you can place a shortcut to this program on your desktop so as not to search for it every time through the menu Start. The shortcut is made very simply: grab the program icon with the left mouse button pressed and drag it to the desktop. Then press the button Alt, and while holding this button, release the mouse button. This is how, however, a shortcut to any program is made.

By launching the program Notes, You will see a ready-made sticker on your desktop, in which you write your entry. If you need to change the size of a sticker, then move the mouse over any of its corners, or over any side, and when the mouse cursor changes to a double arrow, you can move the borders.

Nobody bothers you to also add a few notes to your desktop. And it’s not at all necessary to go to the menu to do this. Start, or click on the shortcut. On the already created sticker, just click on the plus icon, which is located in the upper left corner.

Well, you can close the sticker on the desktop traditionally by clicking on the cross in the upper right corner.

You can also change the color of the sticker. To change the color, right-click on the sticker and select any color from the suggested options.

By the way, the note will not necessarily be visible only on the desktop. When a note is open, you will see its icon in Taskbars at the bottom. By clicking on this icon, you can open a note on top of any open program window.

The disadvantages of this program include the inability to change the font in simple ways.

Now let's look at the question - what to do if in standard programs such as Notes No? You may not have this version of Windows 7, or even Windows XP. How to be in this case?
