Actually, the adding process also takes time - despite the fact that searching for audio files through the navigator is inconvenient.
The sound is adjusted using a 10-band equalizer, there are presets (with the ability to create your own). Additional options- volume equalization (replay gain), peak scale (preventing overload), “seamless” playback (for a more authentic sound of songs, without pauses) and audio focus.
DeaDBeeF's control buttons are a bit small, which may be inconvenient for some. The widget in the notification panel does not contain control buttons, and gestures are not supported. As a result, you have to be distracted once again by switching tracks, returning to the main screen of the player.

Meridian's design is quite outdated, in some cases it is overloaded with icons, and “heavy” colors complicate perception (for example, when editing tags). There are no themes available. For the lock widget, you can choose one of two styles, but the widget in the notification panel is practically useless because it does not contain control buttons.
