How to create mail.ru email and configure it

Mail.ru is deservedly considered the most powerful mail service in the entire Runet. In other similar services, the creation of virtual mail follows almost the same scenario. First of all, in any browser, go to the resource https://mail.ru.

A page will open there and there will be a form in the upper left corner. Click on the “Registration in mail” tab, this is done for free. After this, the Mail ru form opens for filling out.

It is worth noting that there are fields that must be filled in. If you skip them, you won't be able to create an email. The remaining lines, on the right side of which the phrase “optional” appears, can be filled in or left blank. What you need to write down in any case:

The name must contain no more than sixteen characters, it is allowed to use:

• Letters
• Numbers
• Underscore
• Points, cons.

If the name is taken in the mail.ru domain, you can create it in three others: bk.ru, inbox.ru or list.ru. To do this, press the triangle in a special field and select one of the options there. A green checkmark appears next to the field - everything is fine, the name is free.

If you are creating temporary mail, then you don’t have to bother with a password, but if the mailbox is being created for serious purposes and you will use it for a long time, the password must be extremely reliable. Letters of the Russian alphabet are not allowed. It is better not to enter the simplest meaningful words here. If your email is hacked, you can lose not only the contents, but it will also be difficult to return the mailbox itself; you will have to create a new one. The secret “code” must contain both numbers and letters, and the latter can be both lowercase and uppercase.

To ensure that the password is correct, enter it again in the next line. To be more confident, you can write it down in your notebook.

Next are the fields to be filled in in case of an emergency - you don’t remember the password and you’re logging in from someone else’s computer or you simply can’t log in. You should think about this right away. To avoid such troubles, two options are offered:

1. Indicate your mobile phone number. To do this, select your country of residence, enter the number, and within a minute you will receive an SMS with a special confirmation code.
2. If you don’t have a phone number, click in the additional field where you enter an additional Email, you will receive a response to it if you can’t access the main email.

After you make sure that the registration form is filled out according to all the rules, click the “Register” button. If you entered your mobile number, enter the code that came in the message into the form that appears; if you did not indicate the number, enter the code from the picture.

Enter the site

In order to access your mail next time, you need to open it again. website. In the form, enter the mailbox name and password. Next, click enter, and the mail will open, here you can read, delete letters, and respond to them.
