If you don’t like the setting you applied, then left-click on special icon inside the overlap and change the parameters.
And if you want to delete it altogether this effect on the transition, then in setting the transition parameters, uncheck the tab.

How to save a customized effect

If you have successfully configured this or that effect, and now want to save it so that you can use it for other transitions, then simply enter the name of your preset in a special window and click on the floppy disk icon to save the result.
