Mode for automatically detecting label length and selecting print mode:

1) Check the position of the mark of the moving label edge sensor, it must be in the correct position (hit the paper).
2) With the printer turned off, press and hold the FEED key without releasing it.
3) While holding FEED, turn on the printer. It will beep 3 times. Wait for the LED READYwill flash Red andSTATUSlights up orange(the printer has entered calibration mode).
4) Now release the FEED key.
5) The printer will begin to push the label tape forward, first in steps of a few millimeters, and then run through about 3 empty labels, print a test page with current parameters, and the green “Ready” LED will light up.
As a result of these actions, the printer will determine the height of the label and, depending on the installed label tape, the printer’s printing mode.

Selecting a printing mode (Thermal / Thermal transfer printing).

The printer can be used in one of two printing modes:

Thermal printing: printing is carried out on thermal labels (thermal paper)

Thermal transfer printing: printing is carried out on any medium using an ink ribbon (ribbon) using the thermal transfer method.
If you are using software QLabel or GoLabel, set the printing mode in the printer settings in this software. In this case, there is no need to select a mode using the described procedure, otherwise:
To switch the printer from mode to mode, use the following. sequence of actions:

1) Turn off the printer and press and hold the FEED key.

2) While holding FEED, turn on the printer, it will beep 3 times. When READY will flash red and STATUS will light red - the printer will enter Thermal Print mode. Release FEED.

The printer will automatically print “NOW IS DIRECT THERMAL (DT MODE)” – the printer is in thermal mode.

3) While holding FEED, turn on the printer and after 3 beeps, wait until READY will flash orange and STATUS will flash red – the printer will enter Thermal Transfer Printing mode.

Release FEED. The printer will print "NOW IS THERMAL TRANSFER (TT MODE)", which means the printer is in thermal transfer mode.

ATTENTION!

Connecting and disconnecting the printer from the computer is carried out only when the printer power is OFF!
Clean the printer's print head with a soft, lint-free flannel using special means(as an option, technical alcohol is acceptable) with the printer power OFF!
To print labels from the 1C 7.7 program, use the component available on the attached disk. To print from 1C versions 8.X, use Windows printer drivers.
