What to do if GTA 5 takes forever to load. Endless Loading Social Club

As we have already said, there are several solutions:

  1. Perhaps the most stable option is to replace Cyrillic characters with Latin ones – Control Panel/User Accounts and Family Safety/User Accounts/Manage/Change/Change Name. Formulate the account name so that it does not contain Cyrillic, but only letters of the English alphabet and numbers.
  2. The second method is to create a folder in the root directory of the local disk with a name in Latin, for example, Documents. Go to C:/Users/User_Name, where instead of “User_Name” there will be the name you specified. Next, find the “My Documents” folder, right-click on it and click properties, then the “Location” tab, and specify the root directory – C:/Documents.
  3. Also check that the directory in which the game is installed does not contain Cyrillic letters.
  4. On Windows 10, sometimes deleting the Social Club folder, which is located at C:/Users/Username/Documents/RockstarGames/, helps.

These are the main methods that will help you deal with long loading times. Note that if all else fails, try installing the latest updates; in the case of a license, this will be an official patch, and if you have a pirated repack, then look online for the corresponding update and crack.

If it takes a long time to load (freeze) GTA 5 on PC, you can use another method to get around this problem.

1. Create a folder on drive C named “My Documents”, it should look like this “C:/My Documents”;
2. Find the “My Documents” folder (written in Russian letters) and right-click on it, opening “properties”;
3. Go to the “Location” tab and instead of the specified path, specify “C:/My Documents”, click “Apply” and “Ok”, agreeing to transfer your documents to a new folder;
4. After waiting for the operation to complete, launch GTA 5. If the problem persists, restart your computer and run the game again, everything should work.

If during startup GTA V on PC you are having problems with endless loading, then you should check the path where the game is installed and your profile, which should not contain Cyrillic characters (Russian letters).

For example, if your profile is called like this C:\Users\Andryukha-PC then you will have to rename it or create a new profile in English letters, for example Andrey-PC.   1. Before installation, create a “My Documents” folder on the program disk (often drive C)
  2. Next, find My Documents. Most likely the path looks like this: “C:\Users\Computer name\My Documents”
  3. Right-click and select Properties, and then “Location”.
  4. Change the path to the previously created folder (C:\My Documents) and apply the change.
  5. Let's launch GTA.

If the above method does not help, it is worth checking your Windows username for Cyrillic letters. If they are present, assign a different name to the owner or simply create another one, but without Russian letters and special characters, and then try to launch the launcher.

The last point where a solution to the problem of eternal loading may be hidden is the path of the installed game. Check that there are no folders with Cyrillic alphabet before the GTA 5 directory. During installation, the entire path must be written in Latin.
