If you make a mistake in choosing the version, then nothing bad will happen, but in the end nothing will be installed. Working through Windows Update

It doesn’t matter which version of Windows 7 you use, you definitely have an Update tab in the system section. First of all, we enable updates. If you do not enable updates, then all further actions simply will not work. Next, you need to follow the step-by-step instructions.

In the “Language and Regional Standards” section, go to the language settings section. This section is combined with the “Keyboards” section, but don’t be alarmed, it concerns not only the input language, but also the language of the system itself. By the way, if you wanted to download a keyboard layout, then this method will suit you even better than downloading a language pack.

Next, select the section for installing new languages. If you have an English version of the OS, then it is called Install/Uninstall languages. In this section, select “Run Windows Update”, and a new window will open in front of you. The procedure for installing a language pack in Windows 7 can be divided into three stages:

There are two installation methods: automatic and manual. But not all users have the opportunity to use the Internet on a computer that needs to install the package. Additionally, not all possible language options are available through "Update Center". In this case, there is an option to use manual installation of a language pack file downloaded in advance and transferred to the target PC.

Download the language pack from the official Microsoft website or transfer it to your computer in another way, for example, using a flash drive. It is worth noting that the Microsoft web resource presents only those options that are not available in "Update Center". When choosing, it is also important to consider the bit capacity of your system.

Now go to "Control Panel" via menu "Start".

Go to section "Clock, Language and Region".

Next click on the name "Language and regional standards".

The window for managing localization settings opens. Go to the tab "Languages and keyboard".

In the block "Interface language" click "Install or remove language".

After the object is installed, the status will appear opposite it in the window for installing interface languages "Completed". Click "Further".

If you do not yet want to use this package and change the system language settings, then just click the button "Close".
