Good color rendition. High speed of transferring files via cable to the computer: Total Commander showed up to 4000 kbytes/s - it seems that this is the speed of a CD.

I had experience with the Canon ixus 75 and canon s2, and so, the Samsung is much better than the 75 and is slightly behind the s2, which was bought for 18 thousand rubles... Excellent build quality, really excellent, you pick it up and everything is clear + metal lens. The prices of ultra-large LCD TVs are much more modest; an 84-inch 4K LCD TV typically costs a million or less. The price of the 84-inch Sony KD-84X9005 TV is exactly one million, and a similar model LG 84LM960V will cost about 600 thousand. In the case of the Samsung UE85S9AT, you still have to pay quite a significant amount for an additional inch of screen. The 85-inch new product costs about 1,260,000 rubles, i.e., actually twice as expensive as its fellow countryman, LG. Does it make sense to pay extra? That's the main question.
Design
Samsung is not the first to experiment with the appearance of TVs. In almost every new generation, designers come up with something new and unusual. In the case of a large 85-inch TV, they decided not to limit themselves to anything at all. The result exceeds expectations. At one time, LG presented us with just a very large TV with a classic stand. Sony offered external mounted speakers and a floor stand that looked quite brutal, like on professional monitors. Samsung presented a rather bold solution - a large floor frame, inside of which the TV screen is suspended.

You need to press the voice control button on the remote control and say the command. For accurate speech recognition, you need to use the microphone integrated into the remote control.

There is an equally rich selection of Internet radio stations and other entertainment applications, including everyone's favorite Angry Birds. Applications for children, for fitness, as well as applications for communicating on social networks are grouped into special sections of the menu. If you do not consider yourself one of those, we recommend that you turn everything you have into automatic mode, and in the absence of it, adhere to the principle of the golden mean. Without any processing at all, the picture on the LCD screen will not look good, and we also don’t need excessive load on the video processor, since this makes the picture noticeably less natural, harsh, and can even lead to delays when displaying video. With the settings set in automatic mode, the Samsung UE85S9AT is pleasant and convenient to use. The TV produces a rich, rich image with good contrast, although without some details in subtle shades and color transitions. Anyone can bring the image to perfection by spending more time on settings and using color calibration equipment (this procedure will not harm even the most expensive TV).

Considering the fact that 4K resolution is nothing more than four times enlarged Full HD, obtaining a high-quality picture, for example, from a Blu-ray disc does not present any particular difficulties. Another thing is the playback of low-bitrate video, whose resolution is not a multiple of Full HD and 4K. Let's start watching with this test.
Streaming 240p or 480p quality video from YouTube and DivX video files with a resolution of about 300-400 lines do not make a good impression. If you increase the distance, filtering out to a distance equal to two or three diagonals, you will notice only some blurriness, but the picture as a whole turns out to be quite suitable for viewing. Once you switch to content with quality from 720p and higher, the situation changes radically. In order to see artifacts from a distance of two to three meters, you now need to peer into the screen. On Full HD content, the picture is already perceived as high-definition, although in the presence of 4K content it is not difficult to discern the difference in favor of the latter.
We will assume that the scaling test passed without any complaints. It really did the best it could with low-quality content, and when watching Blu-ray discs, some details were visible that are usually not perceived on a regular Full HD TV.

Only by looking closely in complex episodes can you see slight crosstalk, again within normal limits. It feels like the 3D picture really turned out clearer than that of models with polarization technology, but when choosing a reasonable viewing distance, this advantage does not seem so significant. Here we can rather simply talk about a completely high-quality 3D display.
Sound
The audio system on the TV turned out to be quite complicated. The developers managed to hide a full-fledged home theater with a total power of 120 W in the frame. The audio system configuration turned out to be 3.2. The front stereo pair received support from two built-in subwoofers. And to give the sound additional depth and better transmission of dialogues, a separate center channel is used.
