After reading rave reviews, agreed to it. The negative ones seemed insignificant, but in vain. Still, I’ll start with the pros, without describing them in detail. The hotel area, the beach, the presence of a children's playground on the beach and on the hotel grounds, food. Since most of the people lived in apartments and ate their own meals, there were always seats in the restaurant and there were no queues or crowds. Now about the cons, which covered all the pros and why I would not recommend this hotel. Hotel guests are met in electric cars at the barrier and taken to the reception. The electric car has a maximum of 4 seats. 7 of us (2 families) with our belongings were put on one electric car. The Germans are transported 1-2 people at a time. Our accommodation was in a village. Someone wrote that there is good sound insulation there, don’t believe it! House for 4 families. They also wrote about cramped rooms in these houses. The rooms are not only cramped with a blocked entrance. The furniture is all wooden with sharp corners that you constantly hit because the room is tiny. The unfolded chair completely blocks the entrance. The room itself is old, with cobwebs, ants, spiders and other living creatures. At the reception someone was constantly complaining about ants. There is no ventilation in the room, except to open the window(((we arrived on June 5. The room was very cold, damp, all the bedding could be squeezed out. In the bathroom there is always a puddle on the floor. The water heater is noisy and small, 30-40 liters. Wash It was problematic for 3 people. You had to wait until the tank warmed up. You open the window to ventilate the humidity, mosquitoes, midges - everything in the room. But the biggest disadvantage in the room is the beds, mattresses and pillows. I read in the reviews that they are uncomfortable! but we are not picky, we will survive. When a week later everything hurt: our neck, back, lower back, I realized that I had missed this review. By the 10th night it was no longer possible to sleep due to the pain ((((But sleeping there was generally problematic because... for another big minus that we knew about, but thought it was insignificant. This is the presence of the Byblos disco nearby. Three days: Thu, Fri and Sat until 6 am you will enjoy the roar of music, explosions of fireworks. I recorded how you can hear this disco, which is 1 km from the hotel. Moreover, your neighbors may also be people who came to have a blast. Our Germans were buzzing until 6 am, while Byblos was thundering. And in the morning, around 9 o’clock, or even earlier, workers come with lawn mowers. There are about 10 of them at once. Have you introduced them? The terrace near the house is always full of ants, it’s unpleasant to sit on. The room constantly has a musty smell, a stench from the bathroom, and very heavy air. Open windows do not help, there is no other alternative. This hotel is also pet-friendly. Every second house has a dog, or even two per family. Dogs at the houses are without leashes or muzzles. Take this fact into account when planning your vacation. If you get accommodation in houses next to the sports ground, keep in mind that it is never empty. In the evenings there, Russian teenagers constantly listened to music of dubious content, but selective Russian obscenities were in the order of things. It's about placement. It's a long walk to Porec! You won’t get there with a small child (3-5 years old). Only on a train or boat, or on bicycles. In the restaurant at breakfast for several days there was no regular drinking water, only with citrus fruits. Pool. It is indeed with sea water, but it was not heated! It was icy! One morning they heated it, but by 9:30 the water had already cooled down. The sea was warmer! We didn't go to the pool anymore. The sea was stormy several times and was very dirty ((((one day there were a lot of jellyfish. Considering all of the above, I do not recommend the hotel, unfortunately. After moving to the Mediteranen Hotel, we found ourselves in civilization with a spacious, bright, quiet room. Air conditioning , ventilation, everything worked. There is a lot of space on the balcony. And the main thing is that there are comfortable beds and bedding. We slept and rested comfortably in the bathroom. turned out to be better than the well-publicized 4. Well, Russian Express is forever blacklisted due to dishonesty towards customers who paid everything in advance and on time. A separate story about the departure of S7 from Pula, but this has nothing to do with the hotel. that only at the airport we felt a biased attitude towards Russians. The apartment was spacious and two-room, with two bathrooms and, again, two balconies, which was twice as much as we paid for. Okay, but still a bit high. After two or three days, our legs got used to it, and we began to fully enjoy our holiday in Croatia.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, a minimarket is nearby, a larger store is downstairs, by the sea. There are all sorts of delicacies, fruits, beer and wine, and everything else, there were no problems with the food. We’ve been to Croatia twice already, this time we chose apartment accommodation so as not to be tied to the restaurant’s schedule, there are advantages to this, but there are also disadvantages: food needs to be prepared...
However, it was possible to pay half board at a nearby hotel, if for three days, then 18 euros per day per person. Plava Lagoon in our opinion is the Blue Lagoon. Remember the blue intergalactic singer from The Fifth Element?

But the Europeans didn’t go down anywhere at all: at the top of the hill there was a swimming pool, next to a bar and tavern “Istrinskaya Hut”, where else to go? Most of all there are Austrians and Germans, with some Italians.The sea is good, the beaches are different, there are small beaches with pebbles, just for a couple of people, there are places built on rocks, concreted or lined with flat stones with steps or ladders for descending into the water. There are no hedgehogs, there is vegetation at the bottom, fry and small gray fish with a spot on their tail are scurrying around. Few fishermen on the piers did not boast about their catches; the size was the length of an index finger.
As night fell, the hill fell into an inky silence, broken only by the whisper of the sea. Plava Laguna is a place for a quiet, very quiet family holiday (another family could have been moved into our apartment, and we probably wouldn’t have noticed them), but in the neighboring “Mediterranean” there was live music.
