TV Mystery setting up digital channels. How to set channels on TV. How to tune channels from a regular antenna to several TVs

Installing and configuring car TVs is noticeably different from this process in conventional devices. When changing parameters, it is important to take into account the characteristics of the manufacturer and the specific TV model.

You will need

  • User's Manual.

Instructions

  • If your Mystery car TV model allows you to connect the speaker system through an additional audio output, use a special set of cables to connect the TV to your car speakers. There is also often a function for connecting to audio system speakers via a receiver.
  • Use only those wires that come with the device. Try not to use damaged or low-quality cables, and if the original cables are lost or broken, replace them with similar ones. This will extend the life of your equipment and ensure the highest quality sound and video.
  • Use the remote control buttons to set the menu language. Mystery TVs usually have a Russian interface, however, if you bought it outside the Russian Federation, most likely you will have to reflash the TV for the menu to appear in Russian. If necessary, connect the device to an external power source using the included adapter.
  • Try not to use network adapters from other companies, as this may harm the operation of your TV. If your Mystery TV model has a built-in tuner, also configure it according to the instructions included with the package.
  • From the Picture Settings menu, set brightness and contrast settings to suit your lighting conditions. Try to install the TV in your car in such a way that bright light does not fall directly on its matrix. If your model has the ability to save multiple settings, create and save them for quick switching at different lighting levels. Also, most Mystery car TV models allow you to adjust the graininess of the image.
  • You can set up your TV to receive channels according to our instructions. Use the Settings Wizard, which opens when you turn on the TV for the first time.

    Process in automatic and manual mode.

    The setup procedure can become more complicated when working with satellite or cable television.

    In most cases, the automatic search copes with its tasks, and after the procedure the user can only remove unnecessary channels from the list.

    But sometimes the equipment incorrectly takes into account the scanning range, signal source, etc. Then the procedure can be carried out manually or by selecting new parameters. Of course, if we are talking only about new generations of TVs. In older ones, owners usually only have access to manual mode.

    There are no particular advantages in choosing one or another channel search method. The first, automatic, saves time, provides high accuracy, is suitable even for inexperienced users, but can occasionally make mistakes. The second, manual, requires more time and knowledge, but allows you to configure channels in more detail, including in case of poor reception quality.

    If none of the methods succeed, you can use the services of a telemaster. The cost of the call will depend on the region of residence, distance from the workshop and its pricing policy. As an alternative, you can consider contacting volunteer organizations that can help with the transition to a new TV format for free.

    On old TV, TV channels are adjusted using special knob buttons. For most models, they are located under the switches or near the antenna connector on the back of the panel. You should look for channel frequency regulators under special covers or in drawers.

    Setting up a TV of older models is always done manually. Very often, when you turn it on again, there is a need for additional adjustments due to the lack of memory systems. If desired, digital channels can be obtained by connecting the DVA-T2 set-top box.

    How to set up a new TV

    To connect a new TV to a regular antenna, you must switch to your native language. To do this, connect the tuned receiver to the antenna cable, then long press “OK”, call up the menu, look for the “Country” item, the word LANGUAGE and select RUSSIAN. Now the entire menu will be in Russian.

    Automatic channel tuning on TV

    How to set up your TV automatically? Almost cable television, as well as analogue, are configured in the same way. It is performed after concluding a service agreement with the provider.

    Turn on the receiver, the message “channels not configured” will appear on the monitor. Using the remote control, call up the “Menu”, move the cursor one by one to the lines “Channel settings”, “Automatic tuning” and indicate the type of broadcasting that needs to be configured. Now all that remains is to press ENTER/OK. The television receiver begins to tune in to the channels, scanning the entire frequency range. This takes a few minutes and depends on their number; after the TV ends, it will show all saved TV channels. If it doesn’t work, open and study the instructions that came with the device. It contains a detailed description of the setup for this TV.

    When a TV operator adds new channels, the settings are made again; for this, the edit line is used. But even after restarting the automatic tuning, all previously recorded channels are saved, and new ones are simply added to free numbers.

    If the old receiver needs to be configured in a new way, find the “Delete” entry in the menu program, confirm the action by pressing “OK” and restart the automatic setup.

    Manual channel tuning

    Manual tuning for television channels is definitely necessary, because the automatic one records some unsatisfactorily. For example, doubles often appear, the image is of poor quality, and there may be no sound. They are removed. But if the channel needs to be saved, you will have to do it manually. This is done like this:

    • in the menu look for “Channel tuning”, “Manual tuning” and press ENTER/OK;
    • select “Program” and assign numbers to the channels;
    • choose a color system: PAL or SECAM, sound: 2.0 (stereo), 5.1, etc.;
    • conduct a “Search” for the channel, if successful, click “Save”.

    If necessary, these steps are repeated for each of the TV channels. They must be confirmed by pressing ENTER/OK.

    Setting up satellite channels

    How to set up satellite channels if the dish is installed. The cable connects the receiver and the TV, switching it to monitor mode. The remote control for the tuner marks the desired satellite. In the receiver menu, select its scanning. The easiest way is to entrust this to an automatic search, which immediately does everything on its own, without requiring you to enter the transponder settings manually. Before this, it is advisable to study the instructions that come with the device. It describes in detail how to set up digital channels on your new TV.

    There are a lot of such channels, so you need to choose those digital channels that you like best and will watch at least sometimes. We must not forget that when the image deteriorates, the cause may be strong wind and rain, so sometimes the position of the dish is adjusted.

    Setting up digital channels

    High Definition Television (HDTV) is a modern standard for transmitting compressed video signals. This technology provides the highest picture quality. On all modern TVs with a DVB-C tuner, it is now possible to configure digital channels. But such a TV must also have HD viewing capabilities. This new technology is becoming increasingly accessible to a wide range of users. Various companies are appearing that offer setup of digital channels. But you can solve this problem yourself and for free.

    Having general knowledge and the manufacturer's instructions, it is easy to set up any TV. First, mark the lines:

    • “Options”, “Automatic setup”, mark the source and press “Start”;
    • hover the cursor over “Digital” and press “Start”;
    • “Search mode” and “Full” option;
    • enter the following data into the fields: frequency (kHz) – 314,000 (314 MHz), modulation – 256 QAM, speed – 6875 kS/s.

    Modern TVs are equipped with network search, you just need to turn it on and wait. All parameters will be entered automatically. To add new digital TV channels, rescanning is done. After that they appear in the list.

    Setting up TV without an antenna

    Having high-quality cable Internet, you can watch TV without an antenna. To do this, connect the cable to the TV set-top box. There is another plus: channels from the former CIS countries will become available with excellent quality. Now the vagaries of the weather will not affect the broadcast. There is another positive point: you can watch a missed movie later at any convenient time. can be found in the corresponding section of our website.

    Setting up Smart TV makes it possible to watch TV programs directly from the Internet, but to do this you need to have a stable network with a speed of at least 20 Mbit/sec.

    Let's look at how to set up a Smart TV. You can connect it in the following ways: connect the router and computer with a cable or use the Wi-Fi service. To ensure simultaneous access to a computer and TV via a 3G modem, a TP-Link TL-MR3420 router is used; it is also suitable for a cable network. Modern Smart TVs are equipped with a special output for connecting to a loyal network; it is connected with a cable to the router. In this case, the router gives the TV an IP address and all other necessary settings. There is nothing else you need to do, the TV is ready to go.

    Some TVs have built-in Wi-Fi or the ability to connect a Wi-Fi adapter, which can be purchased separately. Which adapter to choose is indicated in the TV instructions. One more condition: the router must also have Wi-Fi. This technical possibility does not require running a cable from the router to the TV.

    When connecting via wi-fi, go to “Network connection”, select the desired network, and indicate the wi-fi access password. After this, the devices automatically.

    Image Settings

    Setting the TV image is done as follows: in the “Service Menu” find the “Image” line. The necessary parameters will appear: “Contrast”, “Brightness”, “Clarity” and “Color”. Use the cursor arrows to change them, selecting the ones most suitable for the eye.

    Once having set up the TV on their own, each user will be able to apply this knowledge again; they cannot do without it, because very often new television channels appear on the network or the signal source changes. You have to wait for hours for a technician, when the whole TV setup takes a few minutes, and most importantly, you don’t have to miss your favorite show.

    Digital TV has been popular among Russian residents for quite some time. This is not surprising, because it has excellent transmission signal quality, as well as ease of setup. The latter, of course, largely depends on your TV model, whether it has a built-in digital tuner, and how you will configure it.

    Quite a lot of instructions have been written about setting up TVs from such popular brands as Samsung, LG or Philips. However, what if you own a TV from a not so well-known company? Today we will look at how to connect channels and radio stations on Mystery TVs.

    Connecting Mystery TV using a receiver and antenna

    Let's look at setting up digital channels on Mystery TV using the example of a set-top box from the same company. It is worth noting that the software of this receiver is no different from the Rolson operating system. Other consoles are not much different from this one either, but at some point you may have to look at the instructions.

    To set up digital TV, you will need to connect a digital set-top box to the Mystery TV, and insert an antenna into it. The receiver should be connected using an HDMI cable, as it is capable of transmitting the image most clearly and with high quality. However, you can use ordinary “tulips” instead, which are often supplied with the console.

    If your antenna has an amplifier, then before turning on the entire system, it must be turned off. Then you can turn it back on.

    If you did everything correctly, then the start menu will appear in front of you, which will consist of seven icons at the top of the screen. Automatically you enter the Mystery installation mode.

    Setting up channels

    After you connect the set-top box, you will need to select the country you are in and start auto-search. If the search process takes a long time, don’t be surprised, this is normal. The multiplex searches for channels and gives them out in packs of 10-20, so you shouldn’t expect to see the list of found TV channels gradually appearing.

    If your Mystery model has a built-in tuner, then all available TV channels and radio stations will be found faster. When the search process is over, you will be prompted to save everything in the TV Guide menu.

    Some TVs from Mystery may vary slightly in setup. There are only three things that can happen:

    1. After selecting your country, you may need to set the time. Without this, the auto search may either not start, or it may not bring any results.
    2. After you click on “Autosearch” you will need to select Russia as the country, DTV+ATV mode and set up a quick search.
    3. If you select an additional search type, you will need to manually enter the frequency and speed parameters that will match your region. Thanks to this, you will be able to find more available TV channels.

    After you've got everything you need (TV), it's time to move on to the most important part - setting up digital television. How to set up digital television yourself? Read more about this.

    I will show the example of a receiver Mystery MMP-71DT2, and like me, his software is completely identical to Rolson. If you have a different console, the principle will be the same, but you may have to look at the instructions.

    How to connect everything

    First, let's connect antenna to the receiver, and the receiver to the TV. Preferably via an HDMI cable, so the image quality will be as clear as possible. If there is none, then through ordinary “tulips”, they usually come complete with the console. Look at the connectors in the instructions, you will get something like this. If the antenna has an amplifier, first turn it off, then you can always turn it on.

    We launch all this equipment, set-top box, antenna, TV. Select the desired video input. If everything is done correctly, you will see a start menu like this:

    How to set up digital television through “auto search”

    By default, the set-top box is not configured for anything, and you yourself will need to catch the channels that are broadcast in your region. The easiest way is to run an auto search.

    After launching the auto search, the set-top box will think for a long time, and should find something in the end. Important: since each one is transmitted at the same frequency, you will catch channels not one at a time, but in packs of ten at once. So be patient. If in analog TV channels are caught one at a time, then a few minutes may pass, and the set-top box will search. But then all 10-20 channels will pop up immediately.

    After the search is over, the set-top box will prompt you to add the found channels. If you find all 20 pieces, congratulations, the process is complete!

    How to check signal quality when setting up digital TV

    Check that the signal is strong enough and everything is set up well.

    It's very easy to do. You should have an INFO button on your set-top box; pressing it three times displays data on the quality and intensity of the signal. Look in the instructions, it may be called differently, but it will do the same thing:

    The higher the signal, the better. Optimal - from 60% onwards

    If both indicators are high, above 60%, everything is fine.

    Check on both multiplexes, say, on Channel One and TNT.

    Since different multiplexes are transmitted, you can catch the first one well, and the second one poorly, or vice versa. Your task is to rotate the antenna so that both are caught well.

    But in practice it happens a little differently. For example, you can catch duplicates. When identical channels will occupy several places at once. It doesn't seem critical, but it's annoying. How to treat, I.

    What to do if you caught duplicates or didn’t catch anything

    The second option is when not everything was caught, or nothing was caught. Fine tuning and manual mode will help us here. We read about it

    Our company produces Mystery TV setup for all technical parameters of broadcast, cable and satellite television, adjusting the brightness, color and geometric parameters of the screen, adjusting the optimal sound, connecting the TV to the global Internet, connecting external playback and recording players.

    TV Mystery answers to questions

    The picture disappeared on the Mystery MTV 3207 TV

    The child pressed something on the remote control - the image disappeared, there was sound, only the dark screen still works. Tell me how to return the image? LCD TV Mystery. Model Mystery mtv 3207. The screen is completely dark. When you switch programs, the sound changes. The channel number is not displayed on the screen. This already happened once, he pressed something and I pressed all the buttons and it turned on, I don’t remember which ones, now I tried it and it doesn’t work.

    Your child has nothing to do with this. Elderly people are also not to blame - they are often accused of “blindly” pressing the wrong button and the image disappearing.
    If, when switching programs or changing the volume, there is no service information on the screen (channel number or volume slider), this is a malfunction of the TV and needs to be repaired. This can happen not only in Mystery, on a TV of any brand, both from a well-known manufacturer, and in noname equipment.
    Most likely, the LCD backlight module has failed. At the same time, the TV turns on and off, you can switch programs and adjust the volume. But the screen remains completely dark. You can make sure that the fault is in the backlight module in this way: point a table lamp with good brightness at the screen. If you look closely and see a very pale and fuzzy image, almost just shadows, on the screen when the TV is turned on, then the picture is being formed correctly. If there is a working internal backlight, everything will work as expected.
    This malfunction often appears periodically - the screen itself starts working (for a while), and then goes out again. Or rather, periodically is not the right definition. There is no cyclicity between working and faulty states. This depends both on external conditions - indoor air temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure, and on internal conditions - how deep the fault has penetrated into the elements of the backlight module. In the end, the TV will break completely and, no matter how you look at it, will have to be repaired.
