Beach and park moonlight. Moonlight Park, Kemer. Changing privacy settings

Hello everybody!

My review today is addressed primarily to those who are planning to relax with children in Kemer, without intending to spend all their time at the hotel. I have already described our May holiday at the wonderful Garden Resort Bergamot. Now, I want to dwell in more detail on our walks around Kemer.

Since the hot weather had not yet taken hold in early May, walking around the surrounding area was pleasant and not tiring. Leaving the hotel, we turned immediately to the right, crossed the road near Waikiki and walked straight all the time, towards the sea.

There is a small park where peacocks and street cats stroll imposingly along the lawns, and rabbits, chickens, geese, ducks and pigeons sit in cages. It gives children great pleasure to feed all these animals. The park area is cozy: fountains, bridges, a canal with water, neat bushes, palm trees, and, of course, roses.

After walking through the park, we usually continued moving along the embankment, looking at the children's playgrounds along the way. Local turtles sometimes crawled there and passers-by tried to feed them with something.

Moving in such a leisurely manner towards the port, we reached the famous park of Kemer Moonlight park.

I want to say right away that this is a great place to spend time with children. True, during our visit, preparations for the opening of the season were still in full swing: somewhere they were painting, somewhere they were repairing something. The mini-water park, which consists of a couple of slides and a swimming pool, was not yet operational. And, to be honest, it may only be of interest to those who do not have slides in their hotel pool. But there is a small dolphinarium there. And, despite the fact that the opening of the season and animal performances were planned only in the second half of May, we were allowed to go up and chat with one of the dolphins. Delight!!! You can also swim with them. The issue price is $50. Unfortunately, this time I was not able to fulfill my old dream... But I think all is not lost!))

The park has a gorgeous beach - sand and small pebbles. Sunbeds, however, are intended for guests of some hotels in Kemer. But you can always sit on your towel or in one of the beach cafes (there are plenty of them there). At the beginning of the season, most of the sunbeds were empty, so we could easily sit on them.

And the most important thing that most children will probably be delighted with is trampolines! Our eldest happily rode there for about 15 minutes. You just need to make sure that the children do not jump in the open sun.

There are several attractions, slides, swings, etc. You can play with cars - big jeeps on a remote control (a special area has been allocated for this; the boys all gather there))).

Separately, I want to say about ethno theme park Yoruk, which is an open-air museum. Entrance for a nominal fee - adults 2 lira, children free. It presents the life and way of life of ancient nomadic tribes; Various kitchen utensils and household items are on display.

Pets and birds are kept nearby: sheep, rabbits, chickens. In general, everything is as it should have been in those ancient times, far from civilization. My boys sat down near the cage with the rabbits and fed them grass.

In general, the place is very picturesque - on one side there is a port with yachts, on the other there is a stunning view of the Moonlight Park beach. There are pine trees all around - beauty!

On the outskirts of Kemer, behind the port, there is an excellent park complex “Moonlight”. This place got its name thanks to the bay of the same name, along which a long sandy beach stretches. This is the best place in the city for walking and relaxing. The territory of the complex extends over 55 thousand square meters. Every new vacationer is impressed for a long time by the number and variety of leisure facilities.

Leisure in the park

Those who love an active lifestyle will find something to do here. At Moonlight Park, under the watchful supervision of trained and experienced lifeguards, you can enjoy water sports such as water skiing, windsurfing, paragliding, and renting a motorboat, catamaran, or even a canoe. Professional tennis players and amateurs are invited to play on modern special courts, and at the diving school everyone can get acquainted with the local marine fauna. There are excellent mini golf courses on site. Cool off in one of the separate pools for adults and children with water slides. Here parents will be able to relax a little while their children frolic in the water. In addition, animators work here, and there is also a mini-club where you can safely and without fear leave your kids.
If you prefer to bask in the gentle rays of the sun, you will find wide green terraces for sunbathing or equipped beaches with golden sand. Don't miss the opportunity to swim in the azure waters of the warm Mediterranean Sea. While relaxing, it’s nice to watch the luxurious snow-white yachts passing by. The beach at the Moonlight park complex is recognized by the European Union as a beach of the highest degree of cleanliness.

Dolphinarium

This is a separate point of the entertainment program in the park. When visiting the local dolphinarium, you can watch a sea lion and two dolphins performing there. They perform here twice a day, giving you a good mood and a boost of energy for a long time. The performance usually begins with a lecture about cute mammals and their life in captivity. This instills in children a caring attitude towards the natural environment. In addition to the show, the bravest children can swim with dolphins, take a photo together, and watch them through the transparent walls of the pool. Disabled children undergo special therapy here.

Infrastructure

On the territory of the natural complex “Moonlight” there is a pier that can accommodate 180 places and is equipped with everything necessary. Yachts depart from it on excursions, which usually include swimming in the open sea, fishing, visiting picturesque beaches, as well as a delicious lunch with freshly caught fish.
Numerous cafes and restaurants in the park offer dishes from various cuisines from around the world. There are also shopping centers, boutiques, and souvenir shops for tourists.

If you go from the center of Kemer to the marina (yacht parking), then on the right you will find a small peninsula with a folklore park, and further from it begins a beautiful beach with the melodious name “Moonlight” (in Turkish Ayisigi). The beach gets its name from the picturesque bay along which it stretches to the Club Med Kemer hotel. “Moonlight” is marked with the Blue Flag, a kind of quality certificate confirming the safety of the coastal strip for recreation and swimming, its cleanliness and amenities. The beach itself is sandy, which in itself is rare for Kemer, but the entry into the water is pebbly, but this does not affect the general mood of vacationers - the pebbles here are quite small. The Moonlight park park complex runs along the entire beach - one of the favorite vacation spots of tourists and local residents.

The most important entertainment at Moonlight Beach is to enjoy the breath of the waves of the Mediterranean Sea and the rays of the hot sun, inhaling the aromas brought by the fresh wind from the park.

Beach infrastructure

Moonlight Beach has paid and free areas. You will have to pay to relax in the area near the bar; the ticket price includes the use of sun loungers with mattresses and umbrellas. The ticket is valid for the whole day. Since payments begin to be collected after 9:00, early birds can enjoy all the beach amenities for free, and even in complete solitude.

On the rest of the beach you can sunbathe completely free of charge, albeit on your own towels, but using the sunbeds of someone else's hotel costs money.

You can have a snack right on the beach; fast food and drinks are sold at the beach bar, and if you go under the shelter of the trees, Moonlight Park has many restaurants and inexpensive cafes with international and Turkish cuisine.

Fun on Moonlight Beach

The most important entertainment on this beach is to enjoy the breath of the waves of the Mediterranean Sea and the rays of the hot sun, inhaling the aromas brought by the fresh wind from the park. However, there comes a time when even the laziest vacationers need to diversify their leisure time. However, on this beach you don’t have to go far for fun, everything is nearby. First of all, of course, these are all kinds of entertainment on the water. Those interested can go water skiing or scootering, go paragliding, or rent a motor boat and take a mini-trip to neighboring villages.

By the way, all water activities are supervised by experienced instructors or rescuers.

The calling card of the Moonlight beach is a pier with moored yachts stylized as ancient ships. While sunbathing, it is very interesting to watch the leisurely movements of luxurious galleons. If you take a walk in their direction, Turkish barkers will certainly tempt you to go on an exciting excursion, during which you will visit the most secluded and picturesque bays, you will be able to go fishing on your own and even swim in the open sea.

On the way to the pier, a small path goes to the top of the peninsula - an open-air folklore park has been created at the top. For a small fee, you can look at a recreated Turkish village with many authentic houses, tools, utensils, and household items, among which pets walk.

In a colorful cafe overlooking the beach and bay you can drink real Turkish tea with flatbreads or sweets.

During the hottest hours, it is better to take refuge in the shady Moonlight Park, so you will reduce the likelihood of getting sunstroke and spend time with benefit for your soul. There are tennis courts, sports and children's playgrounds, souvenir shops and restaurants. The park also regularly hosts entertainment programs aimed at both adults and children.

The park also has a cozy water park, the advantage of which is that there are no queues for the slides. This small water attraction center with waterfalls, pools and slides is loved by children, while adults can sit quietly around the pool.

A separate point of the entertainment program in the park should be a visit to the local dolphinarium. A sea lion and two dolphins performing here twice a day will give you a good mood and energy for the whole day.

By the way, about relaxation - let's take a closer look at those places in “Moonlight” where you can have a great time.

Water activities

Those who do not like to sit still and spend their leisure time with a small portion of extreme sports can join water sports. The choice is not limited to windsurfing - you can also go water skiing, paragliding, and all this under the constant supervision of experienced instructors.

Maybe you like something simpler? Then you can rent a catamaran, motor boat and even a canoe.

Dolphinarium "Moonlight"

If you want to entertain your children, take them to a show in Moonlight Park. It is difficult to pass by the dolphinarium simply because it is located right at the entrance of the park complex.

Dolphins perform their “concerts” every day, so you can always catch a show.

Entertainment for children

In the park you can have a great time with children. There is a special children's playground with many playgrounds and attractions.

For a fee, you can frolic on water slides in a miniature water park. And, of course, the most interesting thing is the dolphinarium with funny dolphins!

Once again about the beach

Is it possible to go on holiday to Turkey and never sunbathe? Of course not! Moreover, at your service is the most luxurious city beach with the same name - Ay????? (Ayishigy), i.e. Moonlight. Perfectly clean, with golden sand...

In addition to a bronze tan, you will bring back a lot of pleasant impressions from the beach on the outskirts of Kemer. Those who like to swim and swim will not be left out either - the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea are always at your service! By the way, the European Union noted the beach on the territory of the Lunar Park as one of the cleanest beaches in the world!

Where can you eat delicious food?

Let’s say right away that you definitely won’t experience a shortage of restaurants and cafes on the territory of the Moonlight park complex. Of course, the menu here is not as traditional as, for example, in the same Yörük Park, but you can still try some of the traditional Turkish dishes.

Finally, we can mention such familiar things as the presence in the Moonlight Park of many souvenir shops and boutiques, and even a shopping center. The park also hosts various music shows, and in the evening the doors of nightclubs and discos open.

And also - don't be afraid of the heat! Thanks to the proximity of mountains and the shade of many pine trees, the park has an amazing climate. Add to this the presence of a light aroma of citrus trees in the air, and a holiday in Moonlight Park will turn into a real fabulous adventure for you! How to get to Moonlight Park?
