Let me remind you that iTunes is the main program for owners of iPhone, iPod and iPad for downloading music, videos, applications, as well as synchronizing the contents of your device with a computer. All operations with applications and music are easier to perform in iTunes. First, you download the content to your computer, and then, with one click, install it on your iPhone.
On Apple computers, iTunes comes pre-installed. After selecting your country, go to the “App Store” tab and select the first free application. If you select a paid application, you will not be able to select registration without entering credit/payment card information.
Click on the Free App button.
You will be prompted to sign in to an existing account or create a new one. We choose to create a new one.
Next, you need to enter your email address, which will become your login in iTunes (Apple ID). When entering your password, do not forget that it must consist of upper and lowercase letters, numbers, be at least 8 characters and do not contain spaces. If you want to receive news and offers from Apple, check the box.
From the list of payment methods, select “None”. The difference between registration in the USA and Russia is only in the data you fill in with the zip code, address, region and phone number. You can enter the proposed data, or use the search on maps and copy information about any other company. The first and last name does not matter, but the rest of the information must be real.

Go to your mailbox, open the letter from Apple and follow the “Confirm Now” link.
To verify your account, enter the email address and password you provided during registration.
After completing the verification, complete the registration by clicking “Return to Store”. You should be redirected to iTunes from your browser.
Registration completed successfully. Click "Done" to continue.

Registration is also available through the iTunes application.

A secret question is needed to recover a password or confirm the user's identity.
At the next stage, the page for registering a bank card and assigning a phone number will open. Data must be entered very carefully and avoid mistakes. After clicking “Continue”, a letter will be sent to your inbox containing an active link. Clicking on it will activate your account.
Register directly from your iPhone
You can register from an iOS phone:
- Through iOS settings - Settings -> iTunes Store, App Store (usually the third screen) -> Create a new Apple ID
- Through the standard built-in iOS application. Open the application -> scroll down the main page and click Sing In. Activate the Create Apple ID button
Otherwise, the registration scheme completely repeats the methods already described.
There is another way - registering an Apple ID without a card
The essence of the method is to use any free application.
- You need to launch iTunes and go to the “Store” section -> select App Store from the menu.
- In the application, scroll the page until the Top Free Apps section appears - free applications. Select any one from the list, under the icon click Free, that is, “Free”.
- An authorization window will immediately appear where you can activate the “Create Apple ID” link.
- The procedure is as described, except for the page for entering payment information for a credit card. In this window, under the inscription “Pleaseselectapaymentmethod” there will be another one - “None” (None of the listed payment methods). After clicking on it, the fields for entering information on the card will disappear.
- Next, enter your email address, click Create Apple ID, wait for the confirmation email, and activate the link.
The method works for any Mac and iOS device, smartphone, telephone.
Which bank card is needed for registration?
Any Visa Classic or higher card from any bank (VISA, MasterCard or AMEX) is suitable for registration. It doesn’t have to be credit – debit can also be used.
Moreover, it is better to open an account in dollars for simpler calculations. If this procedure seems too burdensome to you, then an account in the national currency is also suitable, but only if the bank allows the conversion process when transferring funds (for example, sending in the recipient’s currency).
Unfortunately, VISA Electron and Maestro level cards cannot be used because they are not intended for Internet payments.
You can register for virtual wallets, for example, QIWI.
Password recovery
This procedure is available in several versions. First, you need to open the “My Apple ID” page and follow the “Reset Password” link. In the next window, enter your Apple ID and click “Next” or follow the link “Forgot your Apple ID?”
The following methods become available:
- Answering security questions (they are asked directly during registration). Here you need to indicate your date of birth, correct answers, set a new password and click the “reset password” button.
- Authentication by e-mail – sending a message from Apple to the user’s main or additional e-mail. The message will contain a link that will allow you to enter a new combination and click the “Reset Password” button.
- Using two-step verification. Available to users with configured two-step verification. First, you need to enter the recovery key and select a trusted device to which the confirmation code will be sent. This code is entered on the verification page, a new password is specified, and the “Reset Password” button is activated.
If the recovery key is lost or there is no access to a trusted device, you will not be able to reset the password.
How to buy apps
Step 1. Go to the App Store application (immediately or through the iTunes Store tab - the App Store button at the top in the middle of the window).
Step 2. Select an application, click the Buy button under its logo.
Step 3. Confirm your action in the pop-up window, enter your Apple ID password for verification.

Naturally, everyone needs to download various applications for their devices. This is where the problems begin; when downloading, you need to indicate your Apple ID, but it doesn’t say where to get it. How to register it?
There are two ways to create an Apple ID: using a personal computer with iTunes installed and, directly, using your iPad/iPhone/iPod device. I'll look at both of these options.
Creating an Apple ID via iTunes (from a computer)

How to create a virtual card
1. Go to the website of the QIWI payment system () and click on the “Register” button.
3. When you log into your account, click on the “Maps” link in the menu.
4. Go to the very bottom of the page and click on the “Buy Visa Virtual” button;
5. Next, you need to indicate your phone number (to which the card will be registered). Select a payment method (issuing a card costs 25 rubles). Click pay. The card number, security code and expiration date will be sent to you via SMS to the phone number you specified.
