You need to visit the site and enter your first and last name in the appropriate fields located on the main page. After this, you can safely click the “Register” button. Then you just have to go through three steps and get your account activation code:

• Stage one. It involves finding classmates. After entering your school information, a list will be provided from which you can select the people you need. A feature worth noting here is that you can add them as friends even before final registration;
• Stage two. Similar to the first one, only classmates are being searched for. You can skip this step if you do not want to enter information;
• Stage three. At this stage, on the VKontakte social network, in order for further registration to be available to you, you need to enter your phone number. A free message will be sent to it, the body of which contains an activation code. After entering it in the appropriate field on the site, registration will be completely completed. To gain access to the site, enter only a real phone number!

Remember, registration is carried out in contact for free! The SMS comes directly to your phone. If you receive a message asking you to send a response message to complete registration, then there is a virus on your computer. Clear it or try registering from another computer.

Linking the phone number of an already registered page to a new one

If during the registration process it is discovered that a contact page is already linked to your phone number, then a corresponding notification will inform you about this. You will have a choice: create a new page or go to the old one. On the previously registered page when you log in, a corresponding message about changing your phone number will appear. You can link to a new phone number or, after a day, re-specify the old one.

When you log in as a new user, you will receive brief instructions on the main functions and sections. In total, it will take you only 5-10 minutes to become a user of the largest Russian social network. And to protect your account from hacking, use an antivirus and firewall.

In this lesson I will show you how to register for free on VK and create a new page in VKontakte. This can be done in one of three ways: standard on the website vk.com, via Facebook or via Google mail.

Each of these methods requires mobile confirmation. But you can register in contact without a phone number. This is done through a virtual number - I’ll tell you about this too.

Registering a new VK page

The easiest way to create a VKontakte page in Russian is to instantly register a new user. To do this, you just need to fill out a form on the official website vk.com: indicate your first name, last name, date of birth and phone number. Registration is very fast.

There are other options for creating a page: through Facebook or Google mail. But in both cases you also need to enter your mobile number.

But to register without a number, you will first have to get a virtual phone. This is a one-time number that is used only for activation.

Standard registration

1 . Go to the VK main page at vk.com.

2. In the lower right corner of the site we print the first name, last name, and indicate the date of birth. Then click “Register”.

3. We print your mobile phone number with the mobile operator code. Click “Get code”.

4 . Within a minute, a free SMS message with a code will be sent to the specified phone number. We print it in a special column and click the “Send code” button.

5 . Type the password and click “Log in to the site.” The password must consist of English letters and numbers without spaces.

It is advisable to assign a complex password: longer than seven characters, among which there are letters of different sizes - large and small. And don't forget to write it down in a safe place!

That's it - the page is ready!

You can configure it by clicking on “Continue” or do it later by clicking on “Skip”.

Your page should load in the Facebook tab. If this does not happen, sign in.

2. On the VK website, in the lower right corner, click on the “Continue with Facebook” button.

3. A small confirmation window will appear. Click on the “Continue” button.

4 . The data import page will load. Here you need to print your mobile phone with the operator code and click “Get code”.

5 . We print the confirmation code from SMS into the window and click “Send code”.

6. We come up with a password to enter your new page, save it in a safe place and click on the “Login to the site” button.

It is advisable to specify a strong password: at least seven characters, consisting of numbers, large and small English letters.

7. A message indicating successful registration will appear. This means the page is ready and you can use it.

Registration via Google email

You can also create a new page in Contact via e-mail. But only if you have mail on Google (gmail.com). In addition, you will still have to provide your phone number.

1 . In one tab we open our mail at gmail.com, and in the second we open the mobile version of the VK website at m.vk.com.

2. Under the “Register” button, click on the “Google” link.

3. Select your account.

4 . Click on “Allow”.

5 . We print our first and last name. Click “Continue”.

6. We confirm registration: print your mobile number with the operator code and click “Get code”.

7. Enter the code from the SMS and click on “Send code”.

8 . We come up with a password to log in, and then click “Register”. The password must consist of English letters and numbers.

Your new VK page will load. To go to the full version of the site, click on “Full Version” at the bottom left.

How to register in VK without a phone number

You can register in Contact without a phone number. For this purpose, there is such a service on the Internet as virtual number. This is a temporary phone without a SIM card. You can receive an SMS with an activation code on it, and this is exactly what we need to create a new page.

The principle is as follows:

1. We get a virtual phone number;
2. We print it when registering in VK;
3. We receive an SMS with a code and enter it on the website.

Virtual numbers are free and paid. But in both cases, you need to take into account that these are only temporary phones. This means that if you have problems logging in in the future, it will be difficult to regain access to the page.

Free virtual numbers

There are services where they give out free phones for receiving SMS. They come in several types:

Websites with public numbers- these are pages where currently available phones are published. Everything is simple there: you click on the number, and a list of SMS messages that were sent to it opens.

Addresses of sites with public numbers:

Sites with registration- You must first register for them. After this, the SMS number will be indicated in your personal account. And here, in your personal account, you can read received messages.

Registration website addresses:

Android Applications- These are telephone programs that allocate virtual numbers to users. To get a free number, you need to install the application on your Android smartphone and register in it.

The most popular applications: Swytch, Telos, Text Me.

In practice, I tried every free site and every application. I spent several days on this, but never received the treasured SMS with the code.

Some of the numbers are busy, that is, pages have already been registered on them. For some reason Contact does not accept other phones. And they don’t receive the third SMS.

I see only one option: monitor sites with public numbers and, as soon as a new phone appears, quickly register a page for it.

Note: if you read other instructions for registering on VKontakte without a phone number, they often recommend the pinger.com service. Previously, it was actually possible to register through it, but this method has not worked for a long time. Either the issued number does not work, or SMS messages are not being received.

Paid virtual numbers

You can buy a one-time virtual number on the Internet. This is a temporary phone that is issued online for a certain period of time. And there are services where you can get it specifically for registration in Contact, Odnoklassniki, Viber, Whatsapp and other systems.

I tried three Russian paid virtual number services. Each of them led to a result - the code arrived, and it was possible to create a page. But there are some peculiarities (see table).

The reliability of services and prices may have changed, but at the time of writing (April 2018) everything was exactly like this.

Each service allocates a number for a period of time - usually for 15-20 minutes. This is quite enough to receive the code and enter it when creating a VK account. But it cannot be used for other purposes.

Step-by-step instructions for registering without a phone

Right now I will show you how to create a new VKontakte page on a computer without a phone - through a virtual number. I will do this using the example of the SMS Activate service (the first in table).

Open the website sms-activate.ru and in the upper right corner click on Login/Registration.

We fill out the registration form. Here you need to enter your email and come up with a password to log into the service.

We go to the mail, open the confirmation letter and follow the link in it.

After this, your email address should appear in the upper right corner of the site. If it doesn't appear, log in.

On the left side of the site, select the country. This determines what number the system will issue and how much it will cost. It is better to take the number of the country where you are located. If in Russia, then the Russian number, if in Ukraine, then the Ukrainian number.

The cheapest rooms are Chinese. But I do not recommend using them, since Contact often blocks such phones.

The list of services will show the cost and number of available rooms.

If there are no phones in stock (0 pcs.), you will have to wait. New ones appear approximately every two hours. The time of their appearance is written at the top of the site.

Click on the inscription “0 rub.” in the upper right corner of the site and select “Top up balance”.

Select a payment method and indicate the room rate. After crediting the money, click on the VKontakte line in the left column and click “Buy”.

Attention! Get your cell phone ready. According to the new rules, you cannot register on VKontakte via email (without specifying a number).

1. Open the VKontakte website in your browser - vk.com.

2. In the fields of the “Instant registration” section, indicate your first and last name. Click the “Register” button.

Attention! Without a last name, you will not be able to proceed to the next step of filling out your personal application form. It is also recommended to provide real personal information (correctly!) so that your friends can quickly find you on the social network.

3. In the “Country” line, click the mouse to open the drop-down menu and select the state in which you live.

4. Enter your mobile number (without the international code; the service system inserts it into the field automatically).

5. Click “Get code”. Within 1-2 minutes an SMS message with a 5-digit verification code will be sent to the specified number (sending is free). Enter it in the bottom line and click the “Send code” button.

6. Create a long password (12-15 characters) from English letters, numbers and special characters.

Attention! Do not use your first name, last name, patronymic, date of birth, or phone number as a password. As well as trivial character combinations that are easy to predict: for example, “my_parol”, “121212”, etc.

7. Click on the “Login to the site” button. In fact, a new page has been created and registration on VKontakte has been completed. All that remains is to provide additional information about yourself.

Entering personal data

1. “Country of school”, “City of school” - the location of the educational institution where you studied.

2. “School”: you can select the name from the drop-down list (it displays all schools in the city you specified) or simply indicate only the school number.

3. Indicate the year of graduation and the class in which you studied (A, B, C, etc.).

4. On the same page, you can immediately add your classmates as friends (they will appear automatically in the lower block “You may know these people”). Click the corresponding button located next to your friend’s avatar.

5. Click the “Go to next step” button.

6. In the same way, provide information about the university where you studied: fill in the fields “Country”, “City”, “University”, “Year of graduation”, “Faculty”, “Department”. If you wish, add classmates as friends whom the social network system found during the data entry process.

7. On the next page, VKontakte invites the new user (that is, you) to find friends in other social networks: Facebook, Google (via Gmail and Google+ email), Odnoklassniki, Twitter. If you do not want to use this function, click the “Go to my page” link.

Page design

1. Click “Select photo” in the message that appears. In the system window, go to the folder where your pictures are stored, and then click on your photo (which is best suited for an avatar).

2. Edit the photo size by moving/extending the borders of the portrait with the mouse. When you are finished editing, click “Save and Continue.”

3. Click “Edit Page”.

4. In the form that opens, you can optionally indicate your marital status, date of birth (and customize its display), the city in which you live, the first and last names of relatives (parents, grandparents, sisters and brothers).

Note. To remove entered data from the field, click the “Delete” option (located on the right side of the line).

6. To find a friend on a social network, click on the “People” section, and then type his first and last name in the search bar. If necessary, in the additional panel on the left, set up a search filter (by age, place of residence, education, etc.).

• open the “My Settings” section;
• in the “Your email address” block, enter your email;
• click “Save address”;
• return to the top of the page and go to the “Alerts” tab;
• Click the “Link Email” option.
