Google phone technical support. Google technical support or lack thereof. Help search algorithms

Of course, Google does not and will not have any technical support. Only some individual search engine services have support, namely those where an agreement on mutual obligations is concluded between the user and Google. For example, Google AdSense or AdWords.

Blind faith

Faith in Google Support was born out of the primitive fear of young optimizers of the unbridled elements of search ranking. The insane belief in an invisible force has crossed all boundaries. Because of their ignorance, crazy adherents explain all incomprehensible processes with their religion - everything is at the will of Google. Everything that does not happen is all tests sent down to us by higher powers - Google technical support. If you follow all their commandments and be a good adept, they will even help in difficult times. For what it's worth, they're the Higher Power.

Some have not yet let the Great Support into their hearts, but still hope that it exists somewhere. It just so happens that they are so spoiled and spoiled by all the benefits of the Internet that they are no longer destined to understand obvious things. They really believe that there is support, because how can it not exist, if even small offices can afford to maintain a technical support service, then Google, in any case, also has its own. Otherwise, who will fix all their mistakes and explain how to get millions of traffic to their Yukoz or Joomla sites.

Where are they looking for him?

Yes, everywhere. On all search engine pages that have at least some kind of text entry window. Nobody even reads any descriptions or explanations. There is no time for this! We need to write to Google Support as soon as possible!

Request for review

First of all, they try to find it in the form of an ordinary request to re-check the site. Surprisingly, on the other side of the monitor there are not some invisible forces sitting, but a simple robot that runs an algorithm, and it, in turn, tells them one of three options: either everything is fine with the site, or it is spammed in the trash , and is promoted with low-grade links, disgusting quality, and other unfavorable epithets. In the form of a response to a naive user’s request, he can give the following answer:

● no sanctions were applied to the site
● the site still does not meet the quality criteria
● not all spam links to the site have been removed yet (3 examples of links)

There is nothing more to count on. All requests for revision go not to the great and powerful Google technical support, but to the usual algorithm for combating search garbage. This is literally the last place on the entire Internet where you will be given advice on search engine optimization and getting the traffic you want. By the way, many people write there tearful confessions of guilt and promises to behave well in the future.

Malicious code scan request

There is basically no permanent link to this form. It can only be found in Webmasters Tools, but only when the site has already been registered as a “klondike of viruses”. There you should not confess your sins, but correct the situation with your site and report that all the necessary measures to clean up the problems have been taken. There is no need to wait for an answer. If the check does not detect any signs of Trojans on the site, the blocking will be lifted. If not, then no. It's simple. It is unlikely that living people are sitting here and reading these requests. Most likely, the check is performed automatically when a request is received, which simply shows the system that the site is not abandoned and that someone is taking care of it. Despite this, there are still a lot of crazy adherents of the idea that this is Google Support.

Spam messages

There is a form for reporting garbage found in the search engine - Spam Report. No matter how many times they explain that Google won’t chase every spammer with a stick, there are still naive people who believe that they are writing in Google’s TP.

Webmaster Help Forum

Probably the most common place where all believers look for their divine Google Support. After all, he definitely should be here, where else?!

On the forum it is indeed possible to communicate with Googlers, but none of them have anything to do with support. These are regular employees of the Search Quality Team. Yes, they can give good advice. But, most likely, these will be answers with quotes from reference materials. What can you do, there are now many more writers than readers. Every second writer. But many of them never learned to read.

How do you still write to Google technical support?

Even the Support Witnesses themselves will not give an answer to this direct and simple question. First of all, everyone agrees - the main thing is to write a touching story that the site is white and white and was developed with good intentions, in the name of goodness, peace and cats. This is the main rule that you need to follow when turning to a mythical support.

The opinions of adherents differ regarding the tone in which to address the TP. Some people honor support as a kind of deity and literally worship it, while others believe that support was created to please them and are simply obliged to help everyone. Based on these two worldviews, they build the text of their appeal.

Holy believers hope for the indulgence of divine service. More humble adherents try to put into the letter all their knowledge about politeness, grammar and communication etiquette and try to literally suck up in every sentence. Often such appeals are similar to prayer. They have a corresponding idea about the general algorithm of a search engine. For them, Google is simply an unimaginable invention endowed with super intelligence.

Materialists, in turn, are more persistent and impudent. They are absolutely sure that people can set website positions in search engines manually. Therefore, their letters to Google are much more fun and varied. They make appeals based on arguments like “Our company is the leading manufacturer of metal-plastic windows on the Zhashkiv market.” All this is generously seasoned with accusations of the search engine’s incompetence and threats of litigation.

When you try to give them advice on the forum, they respond with attacks like “ And who are you? I asked Google technical support staff a question, but you don’t know anything at all!“, even if with all this, they have a banal question that any more or less adequate webmaster can answer.

Recently I encountered a problem when I needed operational support, at least informational.

I found a resource in the Google indexing results where I saw confidential information about myself and my loved ones, on a resource that, out of nowhere, I dug up a bunch of information that I personally filled out about myself only at the bank when applying for a plastic card, and then on paper, many years ago. It is clear that Google has nothing to do with the information it indexes, but isn’t this whole machine working for the benefit of users?

Apparently not.

So, when I tried on my own to report an unfriendly resource and tried to make sure that a site that hosts confidential information about thousands of users was closed from indexing, nothing worked for me.

The fact is that I am in Ukraine, there is no direct number for supporting Google products here, you can only contact support. Or call to nearby or not so close countries. Subsequently, I still called the Russian representative office, but more on that later.

But how to do that? Has anyone tried it at least once? How can you report a problem, I am not yet talking about results or real help or an effective solution to the problem.
Let me tell you how this happens:

Step one
go to the technical support page:
support.google.com

Step two
select the required section, in my case it is Web Search
When you hover the cursor over the icon, we see a pop-up window:

Web search
Searching for information on the Internet
Help Center
Forum
Contacts

Step three
When you click on Contacts, you see a message that:

The page is not available

Unfortunately, the requested data could not be found. Try finding the information you need in the Help Center.

Step four
Yes, if you search for help, you can find this form:

It seems that everything is simple, we do everything as written:

What Google product is your query related to?
we answer:
Web search

Below is another form:
Please indicate the subject of your request

choose what you need:
Search results display my sensitive information (such as my Social Security number, ID number, bank account or credit card number, or a picture of my personal signature)

Step five
follow the link...
and we get to the page
support.google.com/webmasters/answer/164133
How to hide personal information from Google search programs

Where two options are offered:

Remove unwanted content

What would you like to do?

We choose option two, since we need to delete the content of Google results on someone else's site.
And we get to the page

We are offered three options for events:

By choosing this option we get to the first form with which we started:

If you believe that the publication of certain content violates applicable law, please submit a request to remove such content from Google.

2. Personal information

If you feel that sharing certain information violates your privacy, please use our privacy removal tool.

3. Outdated content (but we won’t consider this option; it makes no sense)

Removing information from Google
If you would like to remove any information from Google, please contact the webmaster of the site on which it is posted. We only remove data from search results ourselves in some cases. Read more about this here.

Why do you need to contact the webmaster?

Even if we do not display the controversial site in search results, the page will not disappear. It can still be opened via a direct link or found using other search engines. Google only indexes pages that already exist on the Internet, rather than curating them at its own discretion. Therefore, in controversial cases, we advise you to resolve issues regarding the removal of materials with site webmasters.

What do you want to do?

Prevent data from appearing in Google search results

again the sieve options... well, let's choose...
option one:

What do you want to do?
Prevent data from appearing in Google search results

We are asked a counter question:

Are you a webmaster?

if not, and I am not the webmaster of the resource that posted information about me on the Internet :)
then he takes us to another page and politely explains:

If you would like to remove any information from Google, please contact the webmaster of the site on which it is posted. We only remove data from search results ourselves in some cases. Read more about this here.

It’s strange... I spent quite a long time and painstakingly going through the technical support pages only to be advised in the end to contact the web master of an unfriendly resource))) And somehow I myself didn’t even think of looking for his contacts on his website, but what a strange site, There is not even a hint of contacts on it, does Google really think that such sites will leave contact information? Absurd…

And below you can still find the following solution algorithms!
We are again offered to remove unwanted content, according to the usual scheme:

Remove unwanted content
Web pages may be removed from search results by the site owner or Google directly.

What would you like to do?

Remove content hosted on your own site from Google search results
Remove content from someone else's site from Google search results

And here we are again at the place where we started!
This is help!

Let's try the second option:

What do you want to do?
Remove data that appears in Google search results

After choosing this option, we are asked the usual leading question:

Where is the data displayed?

On the website and in Google search results

Google is not responsible for the content of websites that appear in search results. Websites are managed by webmasters. This means that even if you remove a page from Google search results, it will still be available on the Internet. This way, users can find it in another search engine or link.

In your case, to remove unwanted content, you need to contact the webmaster of the site on which it was published. If you cannot contact the site administration, contact law enforcement agencies.

I understand that Google is not responsible, etc. but shouldn't Google be helping people prevent malicious people from using this resource? Why write that even if Google deletes this data, it will be indexed on another resource! You know, for the sake of my safety, as I think, and many others in a similar situation, I am ready to write to all search engines with a request to remove such and such a site from the index!

What kind of policy? Like, why delete it if it’s still there somewhere... so isn’t it possible to solve such issues together? Shouldn't people help each other, especially if they have such resources in the form of Google???

In the meantime, my personal data, which I would not leave on the Internet under any pretext, is on the site and it is perfectly indexed, and the longer this happens, the greater the chance that this data will be picked up by other similar resources, and at the same time this information is very easy you can use it if any attacker shows a little imagination...

In the end, I decided to call the Russian-speaking office in Russia, since I already said that in Ukraine there is not even an electronic mailing address, only a physical mailing address is indicated.

So, after waiting a little and choosing the language of communication, I was connected to a representative who did not introduce himself, it was a girl.
She listened carefully to my situation in silence and advised me to contact online support. I again explained that I had just tried to do this in different ways, but there was no contact information anywhere, not even a contact form!

She replied that this could not be, I went through all these stages online, agreeing on what to press which item to select with the representative, to which he replied that these were apparently technical problems with the service, to which I replied that this has been the case for more than one month

(I had problems with Google maps on my Android tablet, Google Nexus and I tried to find a solution, but as now, then all attempts ended in nothing, I did not receive any support for the same reason as now. This is the first time I encounter problem: I buy a product, pay real money for the device and software, but I can’t get support at all, I regret buying a Google tablet, as such the tablet is excellent but the lack of support scares me, what if my life depends on it, and the only option I will write to support...)

So, after I said that this was not a momentary glitch, the girl said that you should still fill out the form. I had to raise my voice so that the girl finally understood that there was no form of communication, neither through the links that I found, nor through the link that she dictated. She began to explain that this could not be, I began to demand options for contacting technical support, phone, Skype, mail, whatever, she said okay, here it is
write down your address, I dictated an email address with my last name and initials, I dictated it in response letter by letter several times, she dictated it in response, everything came together. He said thank you and hung up.

I wrote a letter... and it returned safely since such an address does not exist, an auto-reply came from the server...
Here's the story.

Result:
Disappointment in the company is growing more and more. People are not considered people. Although this is nothing new. But I always want to believe in a bright future, and not in a gloomy inhuman existence in the power of monopolists with an inhumane orientation.

p.s. But when I found the adwords technical support phone number in my contacts, I made a call, listened to the answering machine and realized that you can only contact the specialists if you have some kind of adwords user number, then I hung up. So they wrote to me by email, a certain Ekaterina :) in five minutes (it turns out that when there is an opportunity to earn money, they quickly know how to link my mobile from which I called with my mailbox, and even write a letter empathizing with me about whether I liked everything about the service and adwords support, ask you to fill out a form...)

Previously, if I bought a phone or any other device, I understood that if I had questions, they were always happy to help me, but here google is selling tablets and, in principle, providing a huge range of services, in principle, and sends everyone “to Google”, with or without reason.
