First you need to find out what video card is installed. I find the easiest way to do this is in the DirectX diagnostic tools. It displays information about sound and graphics. Go to Start menu >> Run ( or windows+R) and enter the command dxdiag as in the image below.

In the window that appears, select the screen tab and view information about the video card. On the left is the video card itself, and on the right are the drivers ( version and date).


There are other alternative ways to find out the characteristics of your computer, but I think this will be enough. If the model is Radeon, it means the manufacturer is AMD, and if it is Geforce, it means Nvidia. Next, I will show you how, where and with what to update.
