Download zte blade v7 lite instructions. Quick review of ZTE Blade V7 and V7 Lite. Main and selfie cameras

ZTE Blade V7 and V7 Lite are brand new smartphones that the company presented in Barcelona at the MWC 2016 exhibition. V7 is a logical continuation of its predecessor V6, which in Russia for some reason is called . I managed to play around with it, test out the new products and, of course, get a first impression of the devices.

Make an uncomfortable stand. Done!

I can’t help but tell you at the beginning about the organization of the ZTE stand. It was large, beautiful, slightly interactive and located in the right place - on, so to speak, the main street of the exhibition, in the third, most important hall. The location itself suggests that the manufacturer wanted to become noticeable. I think he succeeded.

Despite all this, the stand was not organized as well as we would have liked in some places.

Personally, it’s very strange for me when companies, trying to protect their products at stands from theft, attach huge plaques to the back cover and tightly close the Micro USB connector. As a result, the smartphone cannot be picked up, the elastic cable constantly pulls it back into place, the device does not fit in the hand, which means you cannot feel all the sensations that the manufacturer put into its brainchild. Where does such distrust of those who want to test a new product come from? As a rule, there are no random people at the event. And why are there girls in corporate T-shirts running around every now and then?

Definitely not to explain anything about the product. In most cases (not always, please pay attention) they only know memorized marketing tricks regarding the device, to the question “What processor is installed in the smartphone?” or “Can the device shoot 4K video?” no one can answer.

Secondly, all these security things constantly beep when you accidentally touch the Micro USB wiring. The atmosphere around is still created. Especially when some Italian blogger stands next to you and broadcasts to the whole of Italy, obviously trying to shout to Sicily.

Thirdly, two out of three ZTE Blade V7s turned out to be dead, so it was impossible to try the devices. I feel as if I walked into the Euroset showroom, where nothing often works on the open display.

ZTE Blade V7 Lite

This smartphone needs to be studied, first of all, by comparing its technical characteristics with the original version. Below is a sign where I have highlighted the improvements in green and the things that have worsened in red. Yes, I was not mistaken. The advanced version has its own controversial issues.

The V7 Lite, with its specifications, is suspiciously reminiscent of the Blade V6 (or X7 in Russia), which in turn was shown at IFA 2015. You can read the material about this device.

Let's return to our heroes. The “light” version received an HD screen (1280 x 720), but this is not at all critical. With a screen diagonal of 5 inches, it is difficult to make out individual pixels; fonts, icons - everything looks smooth. The problem is that the protective glass does not have an oleophobic coating. And this is what the phone will look like most of the time.

It is quite difficult to clean it from greasy fingerprints. You need to diligently breathe on the screen and only then use the cloth. It is very sad when smartphone models without oleophobic coating enter the market in 2016. Especially given the fact that the vast majority of the same Chinese, cheaper than $200, have been using such coatings for a long time.

Surprisingly, Russia is the first country where ZTE Blade V7 Lite sales. This will happen this spring. Afterwards the device will appear in Spain, Germany, Thailand and other countries.

Let's move on to a more advanced, and therefore more interesting device.

ZTE Blade V7

In my opinion, you shouldn’t cut functionality in order to make something cheaper, and therefore of lower quality. It is better to limit yourself to one, well-coordinated model. And it could fully be the Blade V7, but not everything is as smooth as it seems. First, about the appearance and design.

The new product fits perfectly in the hand; a rather strongly curved protective glass is installed on the front, due to which the device’s screen plays like sunbeams (in our case, lamp-based ones).

In addition, the device is very lightweight. Yes, it is small, but you still expect a slightly heavier phone. The weight, by the way, has never been disclosed by the company, so there are no figures on this matter.

The assembly is good. The base is a metal frame. There are plastic inserts on the top and bottom. They are adjacent to the metal, not to say that it is ideal, but this cannot be called an obvious flaw during assembly.

At the back there is a slightly protruding camera eye.

For some reason they decided to remove the fingerprint scanner in the older model. An extremely strange step, for which it is difficult to find an explanation. Maybe someone mixed something up during the development of the device?

At the bottom there are holes for a microphone and a multimedia speaker. In the middle there is a Micro USB port. It supports the OTG protocol, as stated by the manufacturer itself. But nothing is known regarding the same support for the Lite version.

However, the extremely positive impressions of the design change dramatically when you start using the device, namely, you go into the menu and launch some applications.

In my case, out of 5-6 applications, about half crashed, including Google Play and even standard Settings. The video below shows me unsuccessfully trying to remove my Google account from the menu.

In the end, everything worked out, and only because I had to mention in not the most censored language all the ancestors of this device.

In addition, the device freezes at almost every turn. And this despite the fact that when it is not buggy, everything works decently, without brakes. In this regard, it’s worth saying thanks to Android 6, but specific programmers working on a new device will still have to finish and finish the device.

On the other hand, the release of this smartphone is not coming soon. The company has time to bring everything to fruition. I think it will be so. Ultimately, such crime as I encountered at the exhibition should not exist.

In terms of synthetic performance, everything is as expected.

Far from a breakthrough device, but with a more or less proven and good MediaTek MT6753 processor. For undemanding users, its capabilities are beyond the eyes.

The quality of the ZTE Blade V7 cameras is quite good for the mid-price segment. The lighting at the stand was not the best. It is completely artificial and in some places there were dark spots. However, the device coped with photography, in my opinion, quite well.

Of course, the device can also shoot videos in Full HD resolution and at 30 frames per second. Example below.

ZTE Blade V7 price will be $249. It’s too early to talk about Russia, if at all it’s advisable. Still, with direct conversion, excluding taxes and all other mandatory fees, this is approximately 18,000 rubles. If that were the case, then it's just another average smartphone on the shelf. However, most likely the final price will be higher, so, in my opinion, there is no need to talk about the success of the device in our area.

Sales of the Blade V7 are scheduled for this summer in Germany, Spain, South Africa, Ethiopia and Mexico.

Release date: Spring 2016 Price: $189 and $249

How to update the software?

We provide you with different ways to update the software, namely: update using a memory card or update over the air.

To update over the air, you need to connect to a Wi-Fi wireless network or GSM Internet connection and check for updates in the settings.

What should I do if the operating time of the device does not coincide with the operating time declared by the manufacturer?

A smartphone is a complex electronic device that includes the functions of a pocket computer and a cell phone and consumes a large amount of energy to operate these functions. The main amount of energy is spent on the operation of the display module and the GSM transmitting and receiving path. The display brightness is automatically set to maximum in a very bright environment (sunny day) or set manually by the user. Maximum brightness consumes maximum energy. When GSM is operating and with stable and stable reception “at maximum”, the device consumes a minimum amount of energy to maintain communication. If the network signal is unstable and weak, the device requires more power to maintain communication. In the case of “Network Search” in an area where there is no network, the device consumes the maximum amount of energy, which is spent on searching for nearby base stations. To reduce your phone's energy consumption you need to:

1. Disable GPS if not required.

2. Disable mobile Internet if not needed.

3. Disable or delete unnecessary unused applications, because they are in an active state and consume the internal resources of the device.

What should you do if your phone freezes, won’t turn on, or reboots?

The cause of rebooting or freezing in most cases is third-party software or programs.

1. Initially, we recommend that you restore the default factory settings (after saving the information you need). If the phone turns on, select the "factory reset" option from the device menu. If the device does not turn on, turn on the device in "Recovery mode" and select "wipe data/factory reset". The method for entering “Recovery mode” is described below in the paragraph “How to enter Recovery mode?”.

2. If resetting to factory settings does not help, update the software. Methods for updating the software are described in the paragraph "How to update the software?".

3. If the software update does not help, contact your nearest ZTE Authorized Service Center.

How to make a backup of data, a notebook or a “Back-up”?

There are 3 ways to do a “Back Up”:

1. In the phone settings, in the "Backup and reset" submenu, check the box for recovery.

2. You can transfer the necessary information to your computer using a USB cable.

3. You can make a “Back Up” using a third-party program.

What should I do if I don’t remember the password or pattern to unlock the screen?

If you have forgotten the pattern or digital password to unlock the screen, you need to perform a reset to factory settings: 1. Turn on the device in “Recovery mode” and select “wipe data/factory reset”. 2. If the procedure is not completed, you must contact the ZTE Authorized Service Center.

How to use wireless networks (Wi-Fi, BT)?

1. In the device settings, turn on Wi-Fi. Click on the Wi-Fi icon and you will be taken to the Wi-Fi network management screen.

2. The device will automatically begin searching for active Wi-Fi networks in the access zone from 5 to 50 meters from the access point (depending on the power of the access point).

3. Select the network you need and click on it. If your wireless network is password protected, enter it.

4. Once connected to the desired network, the Wi-Fi icon will appear on the main screen of the device.

How to enable Internet distribution on your phone (USB modem or WiFi router)?

There are two ways to enable Internet sharing on your phone. The first way is to enable distribution as a USB modem, the other is to enable distribution as a WiFi router. Make sure that your device has access to the Internet in order to distribute it:

1. USB modem - this method is used to distribute the Internet to a computer. Connect your phone to your computer using a USB cable and allow data access. "Settings->Wireless networks->More" Modem mode - check the USB modem box." Then the phone will start distributing the Internet to the computer. To stop the distribution, uncheck the USB modem or simply disconnect the cable connection.

2. WiFi router - make sure you have a stable Internet connection via a mobile network or USB. "Settings->Wireless networks->More" Modem mode - check the "WiFI access point" box. To secure your wireless connection, tap the hotspot icon and then tap WiFi Hotspot. In this menu you can set a name and password for your wireless WiFi connection. Your phone will start working as a WiFi router. To stop distribution, uncheck "WiFi router"

How can I quickly see the charging status?

During charging, press the power button. The battery charge status will be shown on the main screen of the phone.

Why is the amount of free memory on the device less than stated by the manufacturer?

Unlike the processor, which has its own built-in memory, other devices, such as a video processor, audio processor and other devices included in the elemental base of the device’s central board, consume user memory resources. A certain amount of memory is reserved in advance for internal needs, but in case of overflow, user memory is used.

What types of device locking can be used?

There are 3 types of screen lock. Select one of the lock types in Settings -> Security -> Screen lock.

1. Locking with a graphic key

2.PIN code lock 3.Password lock

What is the operating temperature of ZTE phones?

The operating temperature ranges from (-10C) to (+50C).

What does ROOT mean?

ROOT is "administrator rights". ROOT makes it possible to change system files, change the system, install test programs and perform other actions. ROOT rights are hidden from users, but can be activated if necessary.
Be careful, careless handling of ROOT rights can harm your operating system.

How to enter Recovery mode?

In the off state, simultaneously hold down the volume button (increase +) and the power button.

What should I do if the battery is not charging 100%?

The device's battery is designed in such a way that it dissipates part of the received charge and can subsequently be recharged. This feature is designed to protect the battery and increase its performance. If the battery does not charge more than 80%, contact a ZTE Authorized Service Center.

How can I add a Google account to the device?

1. When you turn on your smartphone for the first time, you will be prompted to register a new Google account or use an existing one. But this is not a mandatory procedure.
2. To add an account at any time, you can register a new one or use an existing account: Settings->Accounts and “add account”.

How to enable USB debugging? How to get access to the "For Developers" menu?

Enter "Settings->About phone->Tap on "Build number" several times. Then you will have access to the "For Developers" submenu. In this submenu, "USB debugging" and other functions for developers are available

How to connect your phone to PC?

To install the driver (automatically), do the following:
1. Connect your phone to your computer.
2. When connecting, select "Virtual Disk" or "Virtual CD" depending on the model.
3. The computer should detect an additional disk, run “Autorun.exe” on it and install the driver
4. If the drivers are not installed, go to "Settings->For Developers" and enable the "Disk driver". (click on "Build version" 10 times
5. When you turn on (USB Debugging), the driver will also be automatically installed.

What do the letters E, G, H mean?

When the phone's data transmission is active, the following symbols appear on the status panel (indicating signal reception, battery capacity, etc.):
- E means EDGE protocol is active
- G means active operation of the GPRS protocol
- H means active operation of the HSDPA protocol, which is part of WCDMA

10 RF Exposure Safety Information: To ensure exposure limits are met, the phone should be used at a minimum distance of 15mm from the body. Failure to follow these instructions may result in excess RF exposure and failure to comply with applicable regulations. 7. Touch Screen Touch If you want to enter text using the on-screen keyboard, select on-screen items such as application and settings icons, or press on-screen buttons, simply touch them with your finger. Touch and hold To open available options for an item (such as a message or link on a web page), touch and hold the item. Swipe or Slide Swipe or slide means to quickly move your finger vertically or horizontally across the screen. 10

11 Drag To drag, press and hold your finger with some pressure before you start moving your finger. As you drag, keep your finger on the screen until you reach the desired location. Zooming In some apps (such as Maps, Browser, and Gallery), you can zoom in and out by placing two fingers on the screen at once and sliding them together (to zoom out) or apart (to zoom in). Rotate the screen For most apps, you can automatically change the screen orientation from portrait to landscape by rotating your phone to the side. 8. Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) Your mobile device is a radio transmitter and receiver. This device does not exceed RF exposure limits 11

12 recommended by international standards. These guidelines were developed by the independent research organization ICNIRP and contain acceptable safety limits designed to ensure the protection of all individuals, regardless of age or health. The guidelines use a unit of measurement called the specific absorption rate (SAR). The SAR limit for mobile devices is 2 W/kg, and the maximum SAR value for this device when tested in the head area is W/kg, when tested in the body area is W/kg. Since mobile devices offer a wide range of functions, they can be used in other positions, for example as described in the manual. Since SAR is measured at the highest power of devices, the actual SAR value for an operating device is typically lower than stated above. This is due to the device automatically changing its power level to ensure that it uses the minimum power level sufficient to communicate with the network. Limiting Exposure to Radio Frequency Fields For individuals concerned about limiting exposure to radio frequency fields, the World Health Organization (WHO) provides the following advice: Precautions: To date, existing scientific research does not indicate the need for any special precautions when using mobile phones. To limit your and your children's exposure to radio frequency radiation, reduce the amount of time you talk and use the phone, and use hands-free devices that keep the phone away from your head and body. 12

13 Further information can be found on the WHO home page (bulletin 193: June 2000). 9. Greetings to all who stopped by!

I think it’s not even worth talking about the importance of a mobile phone in our time. This is a real necessity, which, like having no hands, is very difficult to do without. And here we are talking about the phone not only as a means of communication, but about all those functions and capabilities that are contained in one small but functional word - smartphone.

General information:

Price: RUB 7,990 , but varies depending on the store.

Place of purchase: Techno Power store, Omsk.

Made in China.

Package:

Standard - a box made of thick cardboard with the logo of the brand and model of the phone.

Equipment:

Here I will tell you about each component in more detail.

A very modest accordion book with very modest content about the phone, so here, more than anywhere else, the “Poke Method” helps very well.

A fairly convenient format, since there is no need to find a cable to connect the phone to the computer - everything is in one set, both the cable and the charger.

The only issue is that the USB cable is a little short.

Yes, yes, you can’t just get a SIM card or memory card; for these purposes, the kit comes with this small and modest key.

The first time I was in a hurry and, without reading the instructions, I immediately went to open the slot, or rather, bend it... But all I had to do was press down and open it.

At the store they told me that the headset is not included with this model, but they were mistaken - there is something else included - not simple headphones, but droplets. Great stuff, I tell you! And what clear sound and quality... In general, I am very pleased.

Well, the most important item in this box is smartphone ZTE Blade V7 lite.

It was my love at first sight and at first touch...

Here it is, my beautiful one in a silver metal case...

Made from lightweight, durable aircraft-grade aluminum.

External characteristics:

Phone size (actual measurements):

14.3 cm x 7 cm x 0.6 cm.

Compared to mine old smartphone Of course, the difference was noticeable, but it didn’t take me long to get used to it. The phone lies very comfortably and neatly in the hand, but there is not enough room for it in the pockets.

Appearance:

For clarity, I am attaching a diagram from the instructions for the phone and will show it on the smartphone itself.

✸ On the front side of the ZTE Blade V7 lite there are:

  • Camera (front ) I’ll come back to it a little later;

  • Flash (LED);
  • Speaker.

Works great so far with no complaints. The sound does not distort, does not hiss or crackle;

  • Proximity/light sensor

It is not visible visually, only in good lighting a small black dot is noticeable. A very convenient thing, especially if you set the display brightness to automatically adjust, which increases or decreases depending on the light level.

  • Indicator light.

For some reason this is not in the instructions, but in reality it is.

What does it show : Alerts you to missed calls, incoming messages, no connection, or reminds you of low battery.

Depending on events and tasks, it may be green or red.

By the way,

If the battery is charged, there are no messages and everything is fine with the connection, but the indicator flickers red, then this may indicate a problem with the phone itself!

I haven't had this happen yet, but I hope it never will.

This was the top part of the phone, now let's move on to the bottom:

✸ There are three function buttons:

  • Middle

Home button.

Always visible as a blue circle even when the phone is inactive.

  • The button on the right is Menu;
  • The button on the left is Back.

For me, this arrangement was inconvenient, so in Settings I swapped the button assignments.

This was the front side of the phone, now I’ll quickly go through the side functional buttons:

✸ Right side:

  • Slot for SIM card and/or memory card.

The fact is that this phone model has a “hybrid” slot, that is, I can install either two SIM cards, or one SIM card and a memory card. I agree, this is inconvenient, but what helps is that the phone has 16 GB of internal memory and there is no need for additional storage yet.

By the way, this phone works with a card in the format:

  • Power button:

Allows you to unlock/lock the phone, as well as turn on/off/reboot.

✸ Left side:

  • Volume button:

According to my feelings, all the buttons are exactly where they need to be, they work properly and do not jam. By the way, they are also made of metal.

✸ Accordingly, there are connectors on the top and bottom of the phone:

  • For on earphones;

  • To connect a cable or charger;
  • Microphone.

My relatives don’t seem to complain, they say that they can hear me well and the sound is not distorted.

Now let's see what's on the back panel of my ZTE Blade V7 lite.

  • Camera (main) , I’ll also tell you about it a little later.
  • Flash (LED):

Which also doubles as a very bright flashlight.

  • Fingerprint recognition sensor;

For some, it may be a very important attribute, but I don’t have a particular need for it. To unlock, all you need is the “power button”, and I have no one to hide photos and videos from. Although I tried to set up this function, but after long complicated processes I changed my mind.

  • Speaker:

The fact of the matter is that it’s “dynamics”, not “dynamics”! Even though there are two of them, only one makes a sound. Apparently the second one is for symmetry, since the phone is fully functional.

The sound is good, clear, without hissing or wheezing, but I don’t turn it up at full volume at all, that’s why I have a headset...

I didn’t remove the factory sticker, I just pasted the warranty sticker onto the coupon. It's still not visible under the cover.

Well, that's it, we're done with the external characteristics, now I'll move on

to the characteristics of the ZTE Blade V7 lite phone itself.

Here I will also give a photo from the instructions and tell you about some points in more detail, but only from the perspective of an ordinary user... in a skirt.

Operating system:

My last phone was on Android 4.2 - the difference is very noticeable both in terms of functionality and in terms of appearance.

Of course, I'm more pleased with the newer version. I really like that there is no such menu here, all applications are displayed on the phone screens. Depending on its importance and necessity, something can be transferred to the main screen, and something else can be shoved into folders.

I’m also pleased with this version’s overall performance, although this criterion also depends on the internal capabilities of the phone. The only negative after almost a year of use is that a “conflict” may arise with some applications from the Play Store, as for example I had with the “Black List”: here Android 6.0 suggests using either the main application or the “Black List” application to exchange SMS. When you select the first, SMS spam is not blocked, when you select the second, not all messages are notified. In general, we need to look for something more effective, but not so buggy, for blocking fraudulent calls and SMS spam.

Display:

5", (1280 x 720), 16 million colors.

For me, this display is simply beautiful in every way. Bright, with a clear picture for visual perception. Does not streak, does not fog, does not ripple or flicker ( I’m only talking about indicators visible to the human eye).

Memory:

16 GB of internal memory and 2 GB of RAM.

For some, the internal memory is enough for me.

As for the operational performance, from the point of view of my understanding, everything is also excellent - the phone does not slow down or glitch, especially for games and applications.

Accumulator battery:

Lithium, capacity 2500 mA, non-removable.

I'll start with my main concern and fear for the operation of the ZTE Blade V7 lite phone- This is a non-removable type of battery. And all because any glitch in mobile phones was easily solved by removing the battery. What to do if this cannot be done!? Well, these are the impressions I got after Lenovo...

In general, the store reassured me that phones of this brand rarely hang up, so I don’t have to worry.

As for the capacity, then 2500 mA is not enough for such a smartphone. I’m not an avid chatterbox or an Internet user who doesn’t let go of his smartphone for days. During the day I can exchange a couple of phrases with my husband and daughter several times or look through the news in VK groups - EVERYTHING, the battery is dead, and I don’t even count conversations with my mother for 60 minutes. once every three days.

I don’t argue that installed applications on the phone, such as weather, pedometer or periodic updates, also eat up the battery, but a day is still somehow not enough.

Camera:

Front - 8 MP.

This is exactly why I really wanted to buy myself a new phone. I don’t know why the front camera was not needed, but it was very necessary... And considering that the quality was three times better than the main camera on my old phone, in general I fell in love with the ZTE Blade V7 lite even more.

Honestly, I have nothing to compare with, so overall I’m happy with the quality of the pictures. Especially if you download some application that turns you into a sweetie with perfect skin.
