How does the scanner program work?

    Scanning from Acrobat accepts images with resolutions ranging from 10-3000 dpi.     For most pages, scanning in black and white at 300 dpi gives the best results for conversion.     If your scanner has a manual brightness control, adjust it so that the characters are clear and properly shaped. If characters are connected, use higher settings (brighter colors). If characters are separated, use lower settings (darker color).
