A modern multifunctional smartphone is used not only for calls, SMS, accessing the Internet or working with applications. Transfer files from Android to Android

The easiest way to exchange files between smartphones is to use Bluetooth synchronization capabilities. The advantage of this method is that you do not need to install additional utilities to transfer data. You just need to make a small adjustment in the gadget menu:

  • Turn on Bluetooth in Settings or pull down the top notification shade and press the button
  • Do the same on another smartphone
  • Wait for both devices to find each other
  • Open File Explorer or a file manager such as Total Commander
  • Press and hold the line with the selected file
  • In the context menu, click "Submit"
  • Select the “Bluetooth” method
  • Specify the device to which the file will be sent

After a few seconds, the file will be copied to another smartphone. By the way, using Bluetooth you can transfer data not only to another mobile phone, but also to other devices, for example, this way you can transfer files from a PC to Android from a laptop to Android. The main thing is that they are equipped with a Bluetooth module or adapter.

If you need to transfer a file from Android to PC or vice versa, the easiest way is to connect devices via USB. To do this, you need a cable that comes with your smartphone.

  • We connect the smartphone and PC with a wire
  • In the connection menu, indicate the connection of the media device
  • Open Explorer or Total Commander
  • Select the desired file and copy it to your PC

Transferring files via USB to Android from a PC follows exactly the same algorithm.


You can also transfer files between Android and PC using Wi-Fi. This will require the installation of additional software. AirDroid is considered one of the best programs for wireless synchronization of PCs and smartphones. On your smartphone you will need to install an application that is downloaded from Google Play, and on your PC you need to open the page http://web.airdroid.com in your browser. Transfer files between Android and iOS

To transfer files from a smartphone to Apple computers, you need full access to the Android file system, but this cannot be obtained using standard tools on a Mac. If in Windows it is enough to connect the phone using a USB cable, then Mac requires the installation of additional software. For this purpose, Google has developed the Android File Transfer program.

Android File Transfer is a specialized tool for connecting Android phones to OS X devices. Developed and supported by Google. The program is distributed in the form of a downloadable dmg image and can later be used to connect various devices based on Android OS. This is by far the best tool for receiving and transferring data from a smartphone to a Mac.

HOW ANDROID FILE TRANSFER WORKS

To install Android File Transfer, download the .dmg file and run it on a computer running Mac OS. Immediately after launch, the program will be added to the general list of installed applications.

After opening two windows, you can start transferring. You can simply drag folders from one place to another or click on the arrows pointing up or down.
