1. Online Packaging. Automatic - Online packaging. Automatic

Having selected this mode, you need to click on the button in the form of a sign and select from the drop-down items Create a new package- create a new package.
Next, click on the Browse button, select the installer of the desired application in Explorer and click the button Open. The program will start uploading it to its server. 2. Live Install. Remote Installation - Visual installation. Remote installation

In this mode, a portable program package is also created online, but at the same time the remote desktop is launched there and you can slightly regulate the process. This mode is similar to the previous one and also often ends in failure.

3. Snapshot Capture. Local installation - System snapshot. Local installation

This mode is the most stable of all. But in this mode the program is actually installed on the system. Read more about this mode in a separate chapter below.

4. Sandbox Capture - Sandbox Capture

In this mode, the future portable program is installed in a special virtual mode in the so-called sandbox. That is, all actions take place in the virtual environment of the system, and after the procedure is completed, no traces of the program remain in the system. This method is also not stable and effective.

In this mode, the program takes a snapshot of the system before installing the application (an application that will become portable), accompanied by the appearance of a window with the inscription Taking initial snapshot before installation - Initial photo before installation.
When the snapshot is complete, a message box will appear: install the application and when completed, click Install done.If a reboot is required, perform it. Install the desired application. At the end of the installation, the program will compare the changes that occurred in the system before and after installing the application, using a snapshot of the system taken before installing the application. Based on these changes, a portable version of the installed application will be created.
The main disadvantage of this method is that in addition to the portable version of the program you also receive a fully installed version system. But after creating a portable version of the program, the installed one can be deleted or the entire procedure can be done in a virtual machine or in virtual mode, which I wrote about above.

Package editor - assembly editor.

This module allows you to make some settings for the created portable version of the application. There are 5 tabs where you can configure integration with Explorer, access to data, removal of traces from the system registry when closing the application, and so on. By default, all this is configured optimally and in the vast majority of cases there is no need to change them. If someone needs these fine adjustments, then I think he will figure them out himself.

Limitations in online services with a free plan

The program provides a number of online services that have some limitations in the free plan.
The portable program package you create (Portable.exe file) will be stored in the online library for only 7 days, after which the file will be permanently deleted.
The distribution package of the online packaging program should not exceed 50 MB. To remove restrictions you need to buy one of the paid tariffs.
There are no restrictions for local use or in sandbox mode.

Of course, this program does not cope with its tasks perfectly, but the product is very interesting and offers a convenient service. Often portable applications made in this program do not work correctly, and many do not start at all when transferred to another computer. But if the developers continue to develop their project, improving the algorithms, then perhaps in the future this product will become almost ideal.
