Twitter is addressing user requests by adding private group messaging and a "mobile video camera" to the platform.

Thematic-brand account. Peter's topics are the blogosphere, WordPress, SEO, SMO and promotion. As you already understood, his account is not just thematic, but branded, such accounts are formed over time. As you can see, the number of readers/readers here has a big gap towards “Readers” - this is an indicator of the authority of the blogger.

Personal accounts

Why is it important to understand what kind of twitter account you read or create?

Because the audience depends on the type of account! Those. if you discuss a certain topic, then the readers will gather people who are interested in this particular topic. Spammer accounts

And another group of Twitter users that I cannot help but mention are “spammer” accounts.

Content is monotonous communication in the form of addressing someone. The tweet must include a link, since such accounts are created for the purpose of promoting certain services or resources.

As you can see, in virtual life, as in real life, people are different. Everyone has their own goals and everyone strives for them differently. By the way, I would like to note that in this article I didn’t talk about goals! Everytwitter account has its own purposes, but I can only guess about them. And this will be so, regardless of my professional opinion. In addition, this information may be classified, so I’ll leave defining the goal for later. Based on foreign articles and my little experience, I will try to give advice on organizing work with Twitter:

1. Decide who will run Twitter

Which department of the company is best to place this difficult burden on? Marketing department, sales department, customer support department?
To find the answer, you need to decide on the purpose of your company's presence on Twitter.
For example, the @perekrestok chain of stores mainly uses Twitter for support and work with consumers. Other companies may aim to inform people about news, conduct promotions, and attract the attention of potential customers (generate leads). If the purpose of being on Twitter is to serve customers, then obviously Twitter should be run by service experts. If these are broader goals, it is better to entrust Twitter to marketers, PR specialists, and the whole team.

2. Who will the consumer communicate with? What face will the brand have?

Managers need to balance corporate tone with Twitter language. It is necessary to adhere to the “brand image”, but also not to forget that many people feel more comfortable communicating not with a cold corporate Twitter, but with a real person.

Other ways to retain and gain followers include posting links, videos and photos, and retweeting your own followers. Twitter is primarily a sharing tool. There is no need to post regular text and be like the media.

4. You need to react quickly, and you also need to be prepared for risks.
