To prevent receiving notifications from new websites, select the checkbox “Block new requests to send you notifications” and press "Save changes". All websites that have status "Allow" will still be able to display notifications.

The settings in it are very similar to those in "Google Chrome", since it is built on the same engine as the browser from "Google".
