Graphic image editors. Features of the work. Free graphic editors

Do you want to easily and efficiently process photos online? Our free photo editor will quickly fix flaws and improve the quality of your digital photos.

Crop, rotate and resize

The most popular functions in photo editing are basic operations such as cropping and rotating images. That's why we created intuitive and fast tools to perform these actions.

Using the Rotate function, you can rotate the image 90 degrees left and right, flip the image vertically or horizontally, and align the horizon. All operations are carried out easily and quickly. To crop (or crop) a photo, just select the cropping area. When saving a processed photo, you can choose the extension (.jpg or .png), quality and file size.

Image correction

Use the Exposure tool to adjust brightness and contrast, and adjust shadows and highlights in your photo. You can also change the hue, saturation and temperature. The Sharpen tool allows you to sharpen an image when needed. By changing the settings of each tool, you will see the changes occurring in real time.

Photo frames, stickers and text

With the photo editor site, you can easily create fun and fashionable pictures using funny stickers, stylish photo frames and beautiful text captions.

At your disposal are more than 300 stickers, 30 frames (their thickness can be adjusted) and 20 decorative fonts for text inscriptions. Large field for experiments.

Decorate photo

Photo effects and photo filters

It's hard to imagine the world of photography without the ability to turn a photo from color to black and white, process it with a sepia filter, or make a vignette. For creative processing, we also have a pixelation effect.

Create vintage photos using the retro effect, use the Tilt-Shift effect to turn landscape photos into “toy-like” ones, or focus the viewer’s attention on the central area of the image using the vignetting effect.

Despite the fact that Microsoft Word is a program for working with text documents, you can also add graphic files to it. In addition to the simple function of inserting images, the program also provides a fairly wide selection of functions and capabilities for editing them.

Yes, Word does not reach the level of an average graphic editor, but you can still perform basic functions in this program. We will tell you below exactly how to change a picture in Word and what tools the program has for this.

Before you can edit an image, you need to add it to your document. This can be done by simply dragging or using a tool “Drawings” located in the tab "Insert". More detailed instructions are provided in our article.

To activate the picture mode, you need to double-click on the picture inserted into the document - this will open the tab "Format", which contains the main tools for changing the drawing.

Format Tab Tools

Tab "Format", like all tabs in MS Word, is divided into several groups, each of which contains different tools. Let's go through each of these groups and its capabilities in order.

Change

In this section of the program you can change the sharpness, brightness and contrast parameters of the picture.

By clicking on the arrow located under the button "Correction", you can choose standard values for these parameters from +40% to -40% with 10% increments between values.

If the standard parameters do not suit you, select the item from the drop-down menu of any of these buttons “Picture Options”. This will open a window “Picture Format”, in which you can set your sharpness, brightness and contrast values, as well as change parameters "Color".

You can also change the color parameters of the picture using the button of the same name on the quick access panel.

You can also change the color in the button menu “Repaint”, where five template parameters are presented:

  • Auto;
  • Shades of gray;
  • Black and white;
  • Substrate;
  • Set transparent color.

Unlike the first four parameters, the parameter “Set transparent color” does not change the color of the entire image, but only that part (color) of it that the user points to. Once you select this item, the cursor will change to a brush. It is with this that you should indicate the place in the image that should become transparent.

The section deserves special attention “Artistic Effects”, in which you can choose one of the template image styles.

Note: When you press the buttons "Correction", "Color" And “Artistic Effects” The drop-down menu displays the standard values of certain change options. The last item in these windows provides the ability to manually configure the parameters for which a specific button is responsible.

Another instrument located in the group "Change", called “Compress picture”. With its help, you can reduce the original size of the image, prepare it for printing or uploading to the Internet. The required values can be entered in the window “Picture Compression”.

“Restore drawing”- undoes all changes you have made, returning the image to its original appearance.

Drawing styles

Next group of tools in the tab "Format" called “Drawing styles”. This contains the largest set of tools for changing images, let's go through each of them in order.

“Express styles”— a set of template styles with which you can make a drawing three-dimensional or add a simple frame to it.

“Drawing Borders”— allows you to select the color, thickness and appearance of the line framing the image, that is, the field within which it is located. The border is always a rectangle, even if the image you add has a different shape or is on a transparent background.

“Effects for drawing”— allows you to select and add one of many template options for changing the picture. This subsection contains the following tools:

  • Blank;
  • Shadow;
  • Reflection;
  • Backlight;
  • Smoothing;
  • Relief;
  • Rotate a volumetric figure.

Note: For each of the effects in the toolbox “Effects for drawing” In addition to template values, it is possible to manually configure parameters.

“Drawing Layout” is a tool with which you can turn the drawing you added into some kind of flowchart. Simply select the appropriate layout, adjust its dimensions and/or adjust the image dimensions, and, if the block you select supports it, add text.

Ordering

In this group of tools you can adjust the position of the picture on the page and fit it correctly into the text by wrapping the text. You can read more about working with this section in our article.

Using tools “Text wrapping” And "Position", you can also overlay one picture on top of another.

Another tool in this section "Turn", its name speaks for itself. By clicking on this button, you can select a standard (exact) value for rotation or set your own. In addition, the picture can also be rotated manually in any direction.

Size

This group of tools allows you to set the exact dimensions of the height and width of the image you added, as well as crop it.

Tool “Cutting” allows you not only to crop an arbitrary part of the picture, but also to do it using a shape. That is, in this way you can leave that part of the image that will correspond to the shape of the curly image you selected from the drop-down menu. Our article will help you get acquainted with this section of tools in more detail.

Adding a caption to a picture

In addition to all of the above, in Word you can also overlay text on top of a picture. True, for this you no longer need to use tab tools "Format", and objects "WordArt" or "Text field", located in the tab "Insert". You can read about how to do this in our article.

    Advice: To exit image change mode, simply press the key "ESC" or click on an empty space in the document. To reopen a tab "Format" double click on the image.

That's all, now you know how to change a picture in Word and what tools are available in the program for these purposes. Let us remind you that this is a text editor, so to perform more complex tasks of editing and processing graphic files, we recommend using specialized software.

When it comes to image editing, the first thing that comes to mind is Adobe Photoshop. However, the price of this tool is prohibitive for many, and in most cases such sophisticated functionality is not required at all.

There are plenty of free, high-quality analogues on the market for working with pictures, both for computers and mobile devices. There are also excellent online solutions.
