AIMP3 vs foobar2000: study of the audio path. AIMP3 vs foobar2000: study of the audio path Setting aimp 3 to maximum quality

is a very popular audio player. It has many settings, supports a large number of music formats, has the ability to create playlists, and so on. We previously mentioned this player in ours, in which AIMP took first place.

Unlike its main competitor - Winamp, the AIMP audio player has more functionality when adjusting the equalizer, namely a larger number of frequency bands for adjustment. This allows you to significantly better customize the sound of music tracks.

AIMP also has 22 equalizer settings, each of which affects almost any musical genre.

To start setting up the equalizer, you first need to open it. To do this, on the main screen of the program we find the button “ Equalizer" Visually, it consists of successive arrows pointing in one direction.

A small window will appear to the left of the program’s working screen, in which the previously mentioned frequency bands are located. Each of them can be configured using the mouse cursor.

To automatically enable equalizer settings (previously mentioned as subsettings), which depend on the genre of the tracks being played, you must click on the “ button in the equalizer window Equalizer settings" Then in the submenu that appears, click on the command " Load settings".

Then the dialog box " Equalizer settings"and a list of available music genres. Select the one you need from this list and click the " Apply".

That's all, now you can enjoy listening to music in the AIMP audio player, having previously configured the equalizer in it. How to use the AIMP player, how to configure aimp3.

This post will be dedicated to such a player as AIMP. I myself have been using these players for a long time and during this time this AIMP player has become my favorite. Aimp is intended audio only. AIMP is not bad for PC, and the most important thing is that it is free for the user.

In the Effects Manager section: You can change the tempo, bass, and there is also a voice removal filter. I personally haven’t used the filter, but for users who need tracks, this is just what they need. Of course, it cannot be said that it worked perfectly on all files, but it still works.

The player has a convenient and multilingual interface, and you can also change it using skins. Skins can be selected on the official website.

In addition, you can customize the color scheme. AIMP also supports plugins with which you can expand the functions in one way or another.

Hello readers of my blog. Marat Nauruzbaev is with you. Many of you are wondering which audio player to use to listen to music with a wide range of features and that it is free? The standard Windows player does not always satisfy the needs of the average user, has a not entirely clear interface and is also “heavy”. Among the wide variety of audio players, the one I liked the most is simple and at the same time has a large number of settings, has earned many awards and is also a free player Aimp. There is a version for Windows and Android, and there is a portable version that can be used directly from a flash drive without installing the program.

In this article we will talk about how to download and install Aimp, as well as how to set up Aimp and how to use it to listen to music and other mp3 files. As always, I will describe the process in detail with pictures and videos. So, let's go...

  • Where and how to downloadAimp
  • InstallationAimp
  • SettingsAimp
  • How to useAimp

To download audio playerAimp, go to the official website of the program aimp.ru, chapter "Download", select the latest (non-Beta) version and click “ Download from server»

InstallationAimp

Launch the file downloaded to your computer. We select the language we need. In addition to Russian, there is a large selection of other languages, including Ukrainian, Belarusian, Kazakh and other languages

The Aimp installation wizard starts. Click " Further»

We agree to the license agreement by checking the appropriate box. Click " Further»

Select installation options: installation folder, program version (portable or regular), click " Further»

Uncheck the boxes for installing additional programs. Click " Further»

Selecting integration options in Windows. I recommend leaving the default checkboxes. Click " Install»

Aimp player will begin to install on your computer

After installation, you can leave the checkbox “ LaunchAimp" and press " Complete»

Our Aimp player will launch with default settings

SettingsAimp

First let's set up the Aimp equalizer. For those who don’t know what an equalizer is, I’ll say briefly that it’s an adjustment of frequency (sound pitch). By default, in Aimp all frequencies are set to the middle position and this does not always suit us, in particular me :) So, you can customize the Aimp equalizer to your liking, and it has equalizer presets, so setting it up won’t be too difficult.

Click the leftmost button at the top of the equalizer

An additional menu will appear where we select “ Load setting»

A window with equalizer presets will appear, where we can select any add-on. I usually choose " Techno", you can choose any other one to your taste. Moreover, if you have music playing in Aimp, you can immediately hear how the equalizer settings change the timbre of the sound. Just remember to turn on the Aimp equalizer by moving the button above it from the “ Off" V " On».

Turn on the equalizer and close it

A window will open with many player settings. You can go through all the setup sections and customize Aimp for yourself. I will show you only those settings that I usually change myself. This needs to be done only once and then forget about it.

In the settings window, click the section “ Display Settings" On the right in the playlist display settings, click “ Scaling" and select the display scale by moving the slider left and right. I usually set the scale to 120%. You set the scale to suit you.

A little lower in the section “ Display Settings"Uncheck the box" Show second line with information" and uncheck the " Show ratings».

After this setup, our playlist in Aimp will firstly look larger, and secondly, each song in the playlist will occupy one line, not two

Next, in the settings, click on the section “ System» — « File associations" and check that we have ticks in " Audio files | Playlists | Covers" This is necessary so that if you launch any MP3 file (music is usually stored in this format) or other music file in Windows Explorer, it will open in the Aimp player, and not in another player...

In chapter " Interface" - "Covers""You can choose a different cover (skin) for the Aimp player. By default, several covers are “built into” the Aimp distribution, but if you wish, you can download any other cover (skin) you like on the Internet and add them to the player by clicking the “ button Review" in this section. Moreover, you can change the color scheme of the selected cover simply by moving the sliders left and right in this settings section. After changing all the settings, click " Apply" And " Close»

Aimp also has a visualizer that is displayed in a small player window, but can be expanded to full screen by double-clicking on it with the left mouse button (LMB). To add a visualization, right-click on the Aimp visualization window and select " Visualization mode" Next, choose any visualization you like. I’ll just add many other visualization plugins that can also be downloaded from the Internet and added to the Aimp player

How to useAimp

It's time to show you how to use such a wonderful audio player Aimp. There is nothing complicated about it, you just need to understand how to add music to Aimp and which buttons to press to control the playback of your music.

So, to add a folder with music to Aimp, in the main player window at the very bottom, click on the plus button “ + " and select " Folders»

Select the folder on your computer where you store your music, check the box next to it and click “ OK»

We see that in the main Aimp window (in the playlist) our files from the selected folder have been added. In general, you can add not only folders, but also individual files, playlists, and even links from the Internet. Now we can start any file in the playlist for playback by simply clicking on it 2 times with LMB or pressing the " Play»

Your favorite song is finally playing in the cool Aimp player.

Now I will explain to you the meaning of the control buttons. Look at the picture, I have labeled each button or function with a number from 1 before 10

  1. Play
  2. Pause
  3. Stop playback
  4. Previous track
  5. Next track
  6. Open file(s)
  7. Show/hide “equalizer”
  8. Show/hide “playlist”
  9. Volume
  10. File navigation

And I almost forgot. There is another cool feature of the Aimp player. In a playlist, files are usually played in order (top to bottom), but you can set your own order for playing files. To do this, click once on a specific song and press the " Q" The serial number of its playback will appear to the right of the song name, in this case “ 1 " Then click again, but on the next song that you want to play after the previous one and press the "" key again Q" “” will appear to the right of the song name. 2 " And so on. This way we can set our own file playback order. Cool, isn't it? This function is especially good when you have parties, and you can prepare in advance a list of songs to play in a certain order.

Aimp has the ability to add multiple playlists. To add a new playlist, right-click next to the title of an existing playlist and select " New playlist»

Enter a name for the new playlist and click " OK»

A new empty playlist will be created with your name, to which you can also add music. Convenient isn't it? And I think there are a lot of such playlists you can create, I created 10 of them. There are only two in the picture :)

When we pressed the plus button " + ” at the bottom of the Aimp window, we added files to the player playlist. If we press the minus “-” button, we can clear the playlist, delete selected files from the playlist, and even delete selected files from the computer disk!

How can we find a specific song in the Aimp playlist? To do this, at the bottom of the player in the search field, enter the initial letters of the artist or the name of the composition and Aimp will immediately show matches with the names of the compositions in the playlist

If we minimize the Aimp player, its window will take on a minimalist appearance near the tray, where you can also control the most necessary player commands: start, pause and stop the composition, next and previous tracks, navigate through the file and adjust the volume

Conclusion

Among a wide variety of both paid and free audio players, Aimp it really stood out among them with its great functionality, easy and, moreover, Russified interface, and most importantly, it is free. Its interface is made for the convenience of ordinary users, it plays many well-known audio formats, can play Internet radio, and there is a version for Windows and Android. All these advantages were probably appreciated by millions of Aimp users around the world, and I was among them.

I described how to install Aimp, how to configure it and how to use it. If you have any questions about using it, feel free to ask them in the comments. I’m saying goodbye to you for a while and if you liked the article, click on the social network buttons, I won’t be offended :) And don’t forget to follow the release of my new articles on the blog, and I will try to meet your expectations.

And finally, as usual, my video on how to install and configure Aimp

See you!

Among users who prefer to listen to music on a computer or laptop, there is probably no one who has not heard about AIMP at least once. This is one of the most popular media players available today. In this article, we would like to tell you how you can customize AIMP, taking into account different tastes and preferences.

All adjustments here are divided into special subgroups. There are quite a lot of them, so when you come across this question face to face for the first time, you may get confused. Below we will try to consider in detail all types of configuration that will help you configure the player.

Appearance and display

First of all, we will configure the appearance of the player and all the information that is displayed in it. We will start from the end, since changing external settings may reset some internal adjustments. Let's get started.

  1. Launch AIMP.
  2. In the upper left corner you will find a button "Menu". Click on it.
  3. A drop-down menu will appear in which you need to select the item "Settings". In addition, a similar function is performed by a combination of buttons "Ctrl" And "P" on keyboard.
  4. On the left side of the open window there will be settings sections, each of which we will consider in this article. Let's start by changing the AIMP language if you are not satisfied with the current one, or if you chose the wrong language when installing the program. To do this, you need to go to the section with the appropriate name "Language".
  5. In the central part of the window you will see a list of available languages. Select the one you need and then press the button "Apply" or "OK" in the lower area.
  6. The next step is to select an AIMP cover. To do this, go to the corresponding section on the left side of the window.
  7. This option will change the appearance of the player. You can choose any skin from all available. By default there are three. Simply left-click on the desired line, and then confirm your choice using the button "Apply", and then "OK".
  8. In addition, you can always download any cover you like from the Internet. To do this you need to click on the button "Download additional covers".
  9. Here you will see a strip with color gradients. You can choose the color to display the main elements of the AIMP interface. Simply move the slider on the top bar to select the color you want. The lower bar will allow you to change the shade of the previously selected parameter. Changes are saved in the same way as other settings.
  10. The following interface option will allow you to change the display mode of the running line of the playing track in AIMP. To change this config, go to the section "Ticker". Here you can specify the information that will be displayed in the line. In addition, parameters for the direction of movement, appearance and its update interval are available.
  11. Please note that the ticker display is not available in all AIMP skins. A similar function is definitely available in the standard version of the player skin.
  12. The next item will be the section "Interface". Click on the appropriate name.
  13. The main settings of this group concern the animation of various inscriptions and software elements. You can also change the transparency settings of the player itself. All parameters are turned on and off with a simple checkmark next to the desired line.
  14. In the case of changing transparency, you will need to not only check the boxes, but also adjust the position of a special slider. Do not forget to save the configurations after this by clicking the special buttons "Apply" and then "OK".

We are done with the appearance settings. Now let's move on to the next point.

Plugins

Plugins are special independent modules that allow you to connect special services to AIMP. In addition, the described player has several of its own modules, which we will discuss in this section.

  1. In the same way as before, go to the AIMP settings.
  2. Next, from the list on the left, select the item "Plugins", simply by left-clicking on its name.
  3. In the work area of the window you will see a list of all available or already installed plugins for AIMP. We will not dwell on each of them in detail, since this topic deserves a separate lesson due to the large number of plugins. The general idea is to enable or disable the plugin you need. To do this, you need to check the box next to the required line, then confirm the changes and restart AIMP.
  4. As with player covers, you can download various plugins from the Internet. To do this, just click on the desired line in this window.
  5. The latest versions of AIMP have a plugin built in by default "Last.fm". To enable and configure it, you need to go to a special section.
  6. Please note that authorization is required for its correct use. This means that you need to pre-register on the official website "Last.fm".
  7. The essence of this plugin comes down to tracking the music you like and then adding it to a special music profile. This is exactly what all the parameters in this section are aimed at. To change the settings, you just need to, as before, check or uncheck the box next to the desired option.
  8. Another built-in plugin in AIMP is visualization. These are special visual effects that accompany a musical composition. By going to the section with the same name, you can configure the operation of this plugin. There aren't many settings here. You can change the parameter for applying anti-aliasing to visualization and set it to change after a certain time.
  9. The next step is to configure the AIMP information feed. It is enabled by default. You can see it at the top of the screen every time you launch a particular music file in the player. It looks like this.
  10. This block of options will allow you to carry out detailed configuration of the tape. If you want to turn it off completely, then simply uncheck the box next to the line marked in the image below.
  11. In addition, there are three subsections. In the subsection "Behavior" You can enable or disable the continuous display of the feed, and also set the duration of its display on the screen. There is also an option available that changes the location of this plugin on your monitor.
  12. Subsection "Templates" will allow you to change the information that will be indicated in the information feed. This includes the name of the artist, the title of the composition, its duration, file format, bitrate, and so on. You can remove the extra parameter in these lines and add another one. You will see the entire list of valid values if you click on the icon to the right of both lines.
  13. Last subsection "View" in the plugin "Information feed" is responsible for the general display of information. Local options allow you to set your own background for the feed, transparency, and also adjust the location of the text itself. For convenient editing, there is a button at the bottom of the window "Preview", allowing you to immediately see changes.
  14. In this section with plugins there is also an item related to AIMP updates. We think it is not worth dwelling on it in detail. As the name implies, this option allows you to run a manual check of a new version of the player. If one is detected, AIMP will immediately update automatically. To start the procedure you just need to press the appropriate button "Check".

This completes the plugin settings. Let's move on.

System Configurations

This group of options allows you to set parameters that are related to the system part of the player’s operation. It's not at all difficult to do this. Let's look at the whole process in more detail.

  1. Open the settings window using a key combination "Ctrl+P" or via the context menu.
  2. In the list of groups located on the left, click on the name "System".
  3. A list of available changes will appear on the right. The very first parameter will allow you to block the monitor from turning off when AIMP is running. To do this, just tick the corresponding line. There is also a slider that will allow you to adjust the priority of this task. Please note that to avoid turning off the monitor, the player window must be active.
  4. In the block called "Integration" you can change the player launch parameter. By checking the box next to the desired line, you will allow Windows to automatically launch AIMP when turned on. In the same block, you can optionally add special lines to the context menu.
  5. This means that when you right-click on a music file, you will see the following picture.
  6. The last block in this section is responsible for displaying the player button on the taskbar. This display can be turned off completely by unchecking the box next to the first line. If you leave it, additional options will be available.
  7. An equally important section related to the system group is "Association with files". This item will allow you to mark those extensions whose files will be automatically played in the player. To do this, just press the button "File Types", select AIMP from the list and mark the required formats.
  8. The next system settings item is called "Connect to the network". Options in this category allow you to specify the type of AIMP connection to the Internet. It is from there that some plugins often pull up information in the form of song lyrics, cover art, or for playing online radio. In this section, you can change the timeout for connection, and also use a proxy server if necessary.
  9. The last section in system settings is "Trey". Here you can easily customize the general appearance of the information that will be displayed when collapsing AIMP. We will not advise anything specific, since all people have different preferences. Let's just note that this set of options is extensive, and you should pay attention to it. This is where you can disable various information when you hover over an icon in the tray, as well as assign actions to mouse buttons when you click on one.

Once the system parameters are adjusted, we can start setting up AIMP playlists.

Playlist options

This set of options is very useful, as it will allow you to adjust the work of playlists in the program. By default, the player has such settings that each time you open a new file, a separate playlist will be created. And this is very inconvenient, since a huge number of them can accumulate. This settings block will help correct this and other nuances. Here's what you need to do to get into the specified parameter group.

When you're done setting up playlists, you can move on to the next step.

General player settings

The options in this section are aimed at general player configurations. Here you can configure playback parameters, hot keys, and so on. Let's look at everything in more detail.

  1. After starting the player, press the buttons together "Ctrl" And "P" on keyboard.
  2. In the options tree on the left, open the group with the appropriate name "Player".
  3. There are not many options in this area. This mainly concerns settings for controlling the player using the mouse and certain hotkeys. Also here you can change the general appearance of the line template for copying to the buffer.
  4. Next, let's look at the options that are in the tab "Automation". Here you can adjust the program launch parameters, the playback mode of songs (random, in order, and so on). You can also tell the program what to do when the entire playlist has finished playing. In addition, you can set a number of general functions that allow you to customize the player's state.
  5. Next section "Hotkeys" probably doesn't need any introduction. Here you can set certain player functions (start, stop, song switching, etc.) to your preferred keys. There is no point in recommending anything specific here, since each user configures these adjustments exclusively for himself. If you want to return all the settings in this section to their original state, you should click the button "Default".
  6. Chapter "Internet radio" is devoted to the configuration of streaming and its recording. In the subsection "General settings" you can specify the buffer size and number of retries to reconnect when the connection is lost.
  7. The second subsection, called "Recording Internet Radio", allows you to specify recording configurations for the music played when listening to stations. Here you can set the preferred format of the recorded file, its frequency, bitrate, folder for saving and the general appearance of the name. The buffer size for background recording is also set here.
  8. You can learn how to listen to the radio in the described player from our separate material.
  9. Setting up a group "Album Covers", you can download them from the Internet. You can also specify the names of folders and files that may contain a cover image. You should not change such data unless necessary. You can also set the file caching size and the maximum allowed size for downloading.
  10. The last section in the specified group is called "Phonotek". This concept should not be confused with playlists. A music library is an archive or collection of your favorite music. It is formed on the basis of ratings and ratings of musical compositions. In this section, you can configure the settings for adding similar files to the music library, recording auditions, and so on.

General playback settings

There is only one section left in the list, which will allow you to configure general settings for music playback in AIMP. Let's get to it.

These are actually all the parameters that we would like to tell you about in the current article. If you still have questions after this, write them in the comments. We will be happy to give the most detailed answer to each of them. Let us remind you that in addition to AIMP, there are no less worthy players that allow you to listen to music on your computer or laptop.

Setting up Aimp player

Hello everyone who is currently a user of this site. Today we will look at the process of setting up a famous program, its name is AIMP. Although the program is quite simple to set up, and it may seem that the description of this procedure is useless, but in fact it is not.

The experience of using programs of this type is different for all users, because for some, setting up AIMP is a “trivial” matter, and for others it is a “dense forest”. In addition to all this, even if you have already installed and configured this program, it would not be superfluous to go through the settings again, perhaps you will find something interesting for yourself.

In order not to beat around the bush for too long, let's look at the process of setting up AIMP.

An example setup will use AIMP version v2.61, build 583, and the default skin “Euphoria” will also be used.

All program settings can be divided into six categories, these are:

1. Playback

4. Templates

1. Playback

“Sound output device” - in this menu item. You need to choose which device will play the sound (by sound, of course: tracks, songs, any sound recordings). All devices that are available for audio output can be viewed by clicking on the “pop-up” list. In our case, these are: default sound scheme (windows default), SPDIF sound interface, VIA sound card. But you need to understand that this is only an example; each user’s device may be different. Devices can be switched between each other; perhaps a particular device will seem better to you than others. For the review we will use a VIA sound card.

Next, you need to select the type of software mixing; it is located to the right of the playback device selection list. This option must be enabled and the 32-bit mixing type must be selected. Enabling this option makes the output sound fuller sounding and similar to real sound.

Under increased load on the computer, we sometimes hear “slowdown” in the sound. To avoid this, you need to move the “buffer size” option slider almost to the end. If you have never observed this defect, then it is better to leave everything as is.

“Logarithmic volume control” to set it up, you need to add volume on the speakers, and then adjust the volume directly in the player. The main purpose of this option is to increase/decrease the sound volume level by a “logarithmic” level.

The volume level changes at a qualitative level when using this option.

“Sound effects” - I think this option is clear to many, since the setting is personal. "DSP-Manager" is where you can focus your attention. To get into the DSP-Manager settings, you need to click on the button with the name of the option.

“Echo” - playback with shades of echo, is achieved by turning on this option.

“Reverb” - adding an additional echo display. To put it simply, this option adds echo in the specified amount, and is reminiscent of the sound in large enclosed spaces. This is actually a very interesting option and worth considering.

“Chorus” - Although the option means “singing in chorus”, in fact the effect is not very noticeable when turned on

“Flanger” - this option plays sound with a reverse signal. To be honest, it’s not clear what it could be useful for, except for some kind of jokes.

“Stereo Enhancer” - stereo amplifier. From the name itself it is clear that when this option is enabled, the sound will be saturated with a stereo effect. But if you turn the settings to maximum, expect a headache.

For example, “auto-sound equalization” and channel reverse, these settings can really improve the sound quality.

“Replay Gain” many people simply do not feel it; some hear the sound being played back in some “disorder”. We considered this option useless and did not spend much time considering it.

Removing voices using a filter. I haven’t personally used it, but I think it’s suitable for people who record tracks on their own and need a backing track. Another interesting option is adjusting the playback speed, sometimes even funny. Also, do not be afraid that you will not return everything as it was, since there is a “default settings” button.

Mixing of sound in one direction out of two between speakers/headphones (for example) occurs when the “Balance” option is set

“Winamp DSP Plug” is a plugin that is used for Winamp, we will not use it.

Once setup is complete, most users look for the usual “Save Changes” or “OK” button, but you won’t find them here, so just click the “cross” in the right corner of the program.

Let's look at the following customization categories.

2. Playlist

(to enlarge the image, click on it)

“Interface” - everything here is quite simple and clear. To see the labels of folder names, you need to insert the value “%ParentDir%” into the “Break into categories” line. This can be highlighted as the main advice for this option. But you can also use additional settings items:

When a file is selected, display information about it.

Display time and columns

The remaining items can simply be turned off; you may like this option.

“Playlist” - in this category you can safely check all the boxes, but remove one that is not convenient. This is the second checkbox that opens bookmarks in a new playlist group.

“Saving” - this option is responsible for saving playlists, if you do not want to save them, just leave the settings at “default”. These settings are fairly self-explanatory. And you can figure them out on your own.

“Automation” in masonry is included in this group. In order for the files added to the playlist to be played in “random” order, it is imperative to enable the option “When adding files, automatically scan the playlist”. You also need to set the option to automatically skip to the next track. If you don’t put it on, the track being played will be repeated, but if you suddenly need it, it’s convenient to do it from the main menu by pressing one button.

We did not consider the remaining options in this group, since we did not consider them important.

“At the end of playing the playlist,” the standard solution is to repeat the playlist. But users are different, and someone can create dozens of playlists, and at the end of one, switch to another automatically. Also, the option “do not repeat a sheet if it contains one file” is convenient for some and not for others.

“Drag & Drop” - the literal translation of this option speaks for itself. “Take and throw” - a manipulator is used for this action. Again, it all depends on the user, for some it is convenient to simply add tracks to the end of the list, for others in a draggable area. But the main thing is to uncheck the “ask the user” box, otherwise the pop-up window will not give you peace. But the “Sort by name” function is a very convenient functionality, so it is advisable to enable it.

When opening files:

- “Creating a new Playlist” - this means that if you add a folder to play using the “ADD” function buttons, the playlist will change its name to the corresponding folder name.

- “Add to this playlist” - I think it’s not worth describing, everything is clear.

- “Add default” - if you add a new folder for playback, a playlist with a default name is created, and this is “default”.

Opinions vary, but in practice the first option is the most practical.

Another option that can be added to the list of not very useful, at least for most users, is “After opening the audio file, start playing.” If you disable this option when opening a file on your computer, it will not play immediately, but will only launch the AIMP player. There is also a similar option that immediately plays files when adding them to the playlist or vice versa.

3. Player

The settings when starting the program require special attention. Advice, immediately remove the “bird” - “Minimize program to tray”. Most people simply notice that the program has already started, and then stubbornly “click” on the shortcut, and do not understand why it does not start. Another useful option is "Do nothing on startup", just consider the situation if you turn on your computer late at night or early in the morning and when you open the program at full volume, playback starts through the speakers. It is very convenient to configure the program’s “hot keys,” which significantly increases ease of use, the so-called “usability.” To change the action performed by a hotkey, you need to double-click on it, then press the button that will be responsible for this action.

4. Templates

All these obscure words and abbreviations are shorthand variables that format a template that is subsequently used for the string and playlist. If you are interested in this, just repeat the examples, it's quite easy.

5. System

If you are tired of the AIMP program logo, you can remove it using this particular settings category. This group is also full of other interesting settings, for example:

- “Show information about the current track on the taskbar”

- “Allow viewing track information using scrolling”

- “Auto-start program”

- “Integration of AIMP to system

But you should understand that these settings affect the CPU load, albeit slightly.

On the “Tray” tab, you can enable or disable pop-up windows, as you wish. You can also change the display of the button in the tray.

If you want to. In order for all audio files to be opened in the AIMP player, you need to set the association of the files with this program. This can be done in the File Association tab. But this player only opens audio files; you can use KMP-player to play video.

6. Interface

This category of settings is classified as purely individual; there cannot be correct advice here, and so on. Therefore, a simple description of your own settings will be presented, and whether to install them or not is up to each person. It is also worth saying that some settings affect the performance of the computer. If your personal computer is weak in hardware configuration, these settings should not be used, especially the “transparency” option.

To avoid malfunctions in the program, I do not recommend installing a large number of covers at the same time.

Let only high-quality music and the same high-quality playback accompany you through life.
