The washing machine is the best brand. Manufacturers of washing machines with a high level of reliability. Manufacturer: comparative rating

Today there is a wide range of washing machines on sale from various manufacturers. Some companies have long gained an excellent reputation. Some have it worse. Someone generally enjoys a bad reputation. One way or another, you need to have at least a superficial understanding of the manufacturers, leaders and outsiders of various ratings of washing machine manufacturers. And then it will be easier for you to choose which brand of washing machine is better to buy.

The models of this company have internal components that are very similar to the parts of machines from the Electrolux company.

Manufacturer ratings

By price category and functionality

  1. Prestigious class. Leaders: Miele and AEG.
  2. Middle class. The best representatives: “Candy”, “Bosch”, “Electrolux”.
  3. Budget class: Ardo, Beko, Indesit, Samsung, LG. And the leader is “Ariston”.

By place of production

According to this criterion, European brands are the leaders. The places are distributed as follows:

  1. Germany.
  2. Sweden.
  3. Italy and France.

According to users, washing machines from Turkey are of the lowest quality.

Also, recently, many Asian and European brands have been setting up assemblies in Russia. This significantly reduces the prices of their products. At the same time, its quality decreases.

In terms of reliability

  1. The equipment of this manufacturer functions stably and reliably for 15 years from the date of initial use. And users refuse to purchase it only if it is difficult to understand its electronics. Some problems can occur when machines are not operated correctly. The level of calls to repair specialists is up to 3%.
  2. Only 5% of failures in the initial years of use.
  3. Electrolux. 5-7%.
  4. Samsung and LG. 9-10%.
  5. Ariston, Indesit, Ardo. 20-30% failures.
  6. Candy, Veko. Over 30%.

Experts do not include models of the Gorenje, Hansa and AEG brands in the reliability category. The reason: they have almost no presence in the local market area. According to consumer reviews, individual components wear out more in the cars of these companies. In general, models have been working steadily for many years.

In terms of quality and reliability

It is more difficult to form ratings based on this criterion - the level of washing of machines from different manufacturers. The reason lies in factors such as water hardness, quality of detergents, operating conditions, etc. In addition, some users may incorrectly set the wash program and format. And then they end up with poor quality washing.

  1. Bosch, Ariston, Indesit, LG.
  2. Samsung, Candy. Zanussi.

Rating by parameters

It is built based on factors such as the volume of laundry placed, drying speed, spin class and electricity absorption. The distribution of seats is as follows:

  1. Electrolux.
  2. Bosch
  3. Siemens
  4. A.E.G. Example: 87695-WD.

By price

  1. Hansa
  2. Indesit
  3. Indesit

Rating of models with front loading

Comparison of specific brands

Often people stop at two companies from the entire range of products and find it difficult to choose a brand from them. There are no fundamental selection criteria; no one in the store knows which company is better. Much depends on the future operating conditions of the equipment, your goals and literacy in handling the equipment. Let's look at the top leading couples in more detail.

Ariston and Indesit

If you are torn when choosing between these brands, then know that their models are made from the same components. Assembly takes place at an enterprise in the Lipetsk region. And “Ariston” and “Indesit” are components of the huge holding company “Indesit Company”.

The characteristics of these machines are identical. Their pros and cons have already been indicated above. And if you need a high-quality car at an affordable price, choose both Ariston and Indesit.

Eyelid or Indesit

According to reviews, Turkish models perform worse at work. And Indesit’s reputation is more solid. Therefore, cars of this brand are more often chosen.

Kandy or Indesit

According to reviews, users often choose Indesit: equipment is easier to repair, spare parts cost little. However, many are confused by the Russian assembly of Indesit.

Bosch or Samsung

Many buyers prefer German quality, although Samsung has good electronics and lower prices. In the event of a breakdown, repairing equipment from both the German and South Korean representatives will hit the budget hard. And Korean cars break down more often.

conclusions

You won’t be able to buy one model for your entire life, because the more expensive it is, the more difficult the repair work; automatic machines have a lot of problems with this. Just replacing the bearings will cost a pretty penny. Therefore, based on the rating, I would like to say that they often choose the most popular ones, and this means budget models with cheap consumables in case of repairs.

In modern times, with rare exceptions, you can find houses that do without washing machines. They have become so firmly entrenched in our frantic rhythm of life that the expression “I’m like without hands” is taken in the literal sense of the word. There is a huge selection of different brands of washing machines on our market, so sometimes it can be quite difficult to choose exactly the one that would perform its “responsibilities” efficiently.

Criteria for choosing washing machines

The first thing you should decide is what dimensions your unit should have. There is a large selection of both narrow washing machines and wide, standard ones (85x60x58; height, width, depth). In reality, the choice of narrow machines is not as diverse as that of their “wide” counterparts.

Paying attention to the characteristics of any washing machine model, choose the best way to load laundry. For example, in small rooms a machine with vertical loading of laundry will be convenient, since it does not take up much space.

When choosing a machine with horizontal loading, the best option would be if the door opens 180 degrees.

One of the most important factors is the choice of material from which the drum and tub of the washing machine are made. It is better if they are made of stainless steel. A washing machine, the inside of which the main parts are made of stainless steel, is less susceptible to corrosion.

The number of revolutions performed. Experts advise choosing a washing machine whose speed ranges from 800 to 1200. At this speed, the laundry that is being dried will spread less, remaining slightly damp.

The disadvantages include this option when the technical capabilities of the washing machine simply do not allow you to dry all the laundry entirely. For example, you washed five kilograms of laundry, but you can only dry two kilograms. You will have to alternate between laying and drying the laundry.

Classifications of washing machines by technical characteristics

The European Union has established standards for washing efficiency, from class A to class G. It is not difficult to guess that class A includes more expensive models of washing machines.

Markings on the machines with the letters A and B mean that this washing machine washes your laundry very delicately and carefully. In addition, such a washing machine saves energy consumed during washing.

Classes C, D, E refer to the middle level, while markings F and G are low class. The spin cycle of the washing machine and, as previously mentioned, electricity consumption are divided into the same classes.

The technical specifications also include a control system. Any modern model is equipped with one system or another. Each of them performs its own function:

  • water consumption control;
  • control of uniform distribution of laundry inside the drum;
  • foam formation control;
  • setting the required water temperature;
  • the system itself selects the desired washing mode for a specific fabric;
  • the system takes control of the required number of rinses, spins, and so on.

Selecting the country of washing machine manufacturer

All these characteristics greatly influence the final cost of the product. But not only that. Brands of washing machines, of which there are a huge number on the Russian market, also play an important role in pricing. You should not immediately run for a recognizable label, since in order to save money, manufacturers often choose another country to assemble washing units.

When choosing any model of washing machines, you should pay attention to the country of origin. Turkish manufacturers offer the shortest service life of a washing machine. A Turkish-made washing machine has a warranty period of no more than five years.

Asian and Italian manufacturers guarantee that their washing machine will serve you faithfully for eight years. But the German manufacturer gives a guarantee for its products from ten to twenty years. The exception was one brand of washing machines, but more on that later. The maximum service life is provided by Swedish and Austrian manufacturers, whose washing machines can last you more than twenty years.

Brands and brands of washing machines

  1. The German brand Miele takes first place in terms of the quality of its products. The manufacturer uses only high-quality parts. The washing machine itself is assembled by hand and only in Germany. Washing machines of this brand have the longest service life (about 30 years). This washing machine has one drawback, the price. It is very expensive even for people whose level of income is above average.
  2. Second place is occupied by several brands of washing machines and, again, of German, Swedish and Austrian production. These are Bosch, Hansa, Kaiser, Siemens and Age (Germany). Evronova, Euroshoba, Singdenova (Austria). In Austrian models, the component parts of the unit are delivered from Germany and Italy, but they stand out for their excellent quality. But the presented Bosch and Siemens are assembled in Spain, albeit using German technology. If you want to buy, for example, a high-quality Bosch, then look for. There are no narrow Siemens machines (German assembly) on the Russian market. If you want quality products, place an order.
  3. "Ariston", "Zanussi", "Indesit", "Ardo", "Candy" - the country of origin of all these brands is Italy. This product serves as an example of value for money. Thanks to the angle of the drum, washing is much more efficient. But there is also one nuance here. Judging by the reviews about these brands, choose only the native assembly, that is, Italian, since the other assembly is distinguished by its quality and not for the better.
  4. “Siltal” from an Italian manufacturer is considered almost one of the best among Italian products. Information: well-known manufacturers order spare parts for their products from this concern. It is distinguished by quality and reliability, and most importantly, affordable price. The warranty period is about 9 years.
  5. "Vestel" and "Veko" from a Turkish manufacturer. Affordable prices and full performance throughout the entire service life make these brands so desirable for many buyers.
  6. “Maydag”, “Whirlpool”, “Frigidaire” made in America have been pleasing consumers with their low price and corresponding quality of products for almost a hundred years.
  7. 7. The Japanese manufacturer of the washing machine “Panasonic” has glorified its name by the fact that the machine really works silently, as stated.
  8. The next point is the Korean manufacturers, who, after all the others, occupy one of the firm positions among high-quality and reliable products. These are LG, Samsung, Daewoo Electronics. Their products are distinguished by quality. And again, if the product was assembled directly in the country of origin.
  9. Among these positions one can also include other more or less well-known brands of washing machines that meet the rule that the price must necessarily correspond to the quality. These are French, English and Slavic brands: Made, Brendt, Gorenje, Hoover, Reeson.

As an epilogue to this article, we will consider some tips and recommendations from people who have encountered the products presented above.

  • When purchasing a machine, try to purchase only the product of the assembly whose country was indicated as the manufacturer.
  • If funds allow, then when choosing equipment, stick to German products. After all, the Germans are famous for their pedantry and scrupulousness towards many things. Indeed, all their equipment is made conscientiously.
  • Remember that the quality of washing does not depend on where the washing machine was assembled. The service life and quality of the product itself depend on this, but not the functions it performs.
  • The stated number of kilograms per washing machine should be calculated based on the wet weight, not the dry weight.
  • Do not overload the washing machine more than its intended weight. Otherwise, even the most expensive and high-quality washing machine will not last you more than two years.

Before purchasing a washing machine, you should check whether there are repair services for this brand of washing machine in your city.

Manufacturers offer equipment for every taste and budget, and when you find yourself in a store, you can get confused - what to buy? To understand which brand of washing machine is best to buy, before going to the store, you should study reviews of the most famous companies producing household appliances and find out what specific characteristics influence.

There are about 10 companies on the Russian market, whose products are in great demand among consumers.

A South Korean company that offers high-quality equipment in various price segments: from budget to quite expensive.

Advantages of Samsung washing machines:

  • reliability;
  • spacious drum;
  • intuitive controls;
  • high ;
  • many additional functions.

LG

Another South Korean company that was the first to produce direct drive machines. Among the products offered by this company you can find both very inexpensive, budget models, and the most modern devices equipped with a lot of additional functions. Very often, buyers have a choice of a washing machine.

Advantages of LG washing machines:

  • economical consumption of water and detergents;
  • large stainless steel drum;
  • quality of equipment assembly;
  • Ease of Management.

Since most of this company's products have additional functions, the cost of the machines differs greatly from analogues produced by other companies. Also, the washing cycles are quite long.

The machine is suitable for those who are looking for high-quality and not too noisy device, but does not seek to save money.

Bosch

The products of the German company are designed for middle-income consumers. Consistent quality is one of the main advantages noted by owners of Bosch equipment.

Advantages of washing machines from this manufacturer:

  • washing features - a special mode is provided at 170 ° C, which allows you to achieve ideal cleanliness of the laundry;
  • The choice of programs in Bosch machines is very diverse; if necessary, you can wash both bed linen and a woolen dress;
  • warranty - the German manufacturer is confident in the quality of its product, and therefore provides a long warranty period for all washing machines.

The only drawback is the relatively high price. If you are not strapped for money and want to be sure that the automatic machine will serve for a long time, then your choice is a machine from Bosch.

American home appliance company middle price segment. It offers reliable and high-quality devices and uses advanced technologies.

Advantages of washing machines from this manufacturer:

  • high power;
  • good washing quality;
  • convenient control;
  • multifunctionality;
  • opportunity .

Consumer reviews about the products of this company indicate that the quality is quite consistent with the price; the main thing is to carefully study what functions are provided in a particular model.

Premium-class equipment from Italy can satisfy the most sophisticated buyer: thoughtful design, reliable operation, visible results.

Advantages:

  • copes well with ;
  • uses water sparingly;
  • squeezes things out efficiently.

However, among the entire model range there are no machines with steam washing capabilities.

Reviews from most consumers about this technology are positive; it is suitable for people who do not pursue new technologies, but value reliability, convenience and aesthetic appearance household appliances.

Hansa

The German manufacturer is considered reliable. It offers equipment for every taste; the range of washing machines is quite extensive.

Among the advantages of this brand:

  • thoughtful design, availability of compact models;
  • interesting design of equipment;
  • silent operation;
  • a unique system that protects internal parts from wear.

The automatic machine from this company also has disadvantages: the steel used to make some of the parts is not durable.

As a result, the service life of the device cannot be called long. There may also be problems with - it often breaks.

The Swedish manufacturer of household appliances offers machines of economy, medium and premium classes. Known for the quality of its products, reliability and constant improvement, which makes it popular with customers.

  • Advantages of Electrolux washing machines:
  • the presence of an ultra-fast wash cycle (18 minutes);
  • reduced energy consumption and low water consumption;
  • a large number of programs for washing clothes, rinsing and spinning;
  • spacious drum (some models can accommodate Euro-sized winter blankets);

interesting design.

Due to the large number of functions, operating the device is not so easy to understand. It will take some time to get used to it and explore all the capabilities of the machine. The entire range of equipment produced by Electrolux is different quality and reliability

and will be a great purchase. Numerous customer reviews confirm this.

Eurosoba

  • Washing machines from this Swiss brand are not as widely known in our country as LG or Indesit. Nevertheless, they deserve attention: Eurosoba specializes in the production of miniature washing machines, ideal for Russian small apartments.
  • For the most part, they are built under the sink, which is very convenient in a small bathroom. So, the key advantages of cars under the Eurosoba brand:
  • compactness;
  • stable body covering material;
  • interesting design, awarded various awards.

At the same time, they are not without disadvantages, which stem from their small dimensions. First of all, this: as a rule, it does not exceed 3 kg. Of course, such a machine is no longer acceptable for a family with children. Second minus - limited functionality. The set of modes includes only basic programs, the maximum possibilities are the presence of a delicate wash icon. With such significant disadvantages, the cost of these washing units seems very overpriced. The simplest model starts at 29,900 rubles, and more “advanced” machines cost almost 2 times more.

Miele

Equipment from Germany refers to premium class, is characterized by durability: the machines are able to work properly for 20 – 30 years.

Among the disadvantages:

  • high price;
  • relatively small;
  • small selection of laundry programs.
  • high cost of repairs and spare parts.

The machines of this company are suitable for people who are willing to pay a lot of money for a properly working machine without frills: it really washes things well, but nothing more.

Built-in drying is convenient, since there is no need for an additional full-fledged device, for which you still need to find a place in the apartment.

However, you need to remember that:

  • the machine equipped with a dryer has impressive dimensions;
  • it consumes significantly more electricity;
  • the result that such a device can offer is inferior to that obtained using a full-fledged dryer.

Number of laundry programs

The more washing modes are provided in the washing machine, the better and better the laundry will be washed.

Additional functions

Manufacturers are constantly striving to make changes to their products to differentiate them from competitors, and new options appear quite often. Do you need them all? Are you ready to overpay for them? When purchasing a machine, pay attention to 2 functions that make operating the device more convenient and safer:

  1. Leak protection. If you are worried that you might flood your neighbors, buy a machine with this option, and don’t worry about it anymore - even if the device fails, a special mechanism will block the water supply and the liquid will not spill onto the floor.
  2. . Devices with direct drive are more reliable than those with belt drive. Also, such machines last longer, consume less energy and make almost no noise.

Most of the others - control of foam formation, water quality, protection against creasing, and a host of others - may improve the ease of use of the device, but are not really necessary, according to experts.

The most trustworthy manufacturers are LG, Electrolux and Bocsh. When choosing machines from other companies, it is advisable to carefully study the technical characteristics and place of assembly of the equipment - the final quality of the device depends on these indicators.

Steam washing machines

This is a new generation device, quite expensive.

Among the advantages, experts highlight:

  • innovative washing technology that requires less water;
  • good washing results - the fabric is cleaned better: not only are dirt, allergens and detergent residues removed from the fibers, but the laundry is also disinfected;
  • gentle cleaning of the most delicate fabrics.

If you are accustomed to comfort and high quality, and are willing to pay for the opportunity to use advanced technologies, then such a car will be the best purchase for you.

The AEG brand, part of the AEG-Electrolux concern, has existed for 125 years. The countdown dates back to 1889, from an exhibition in Berlin, where AEG presented small household appliances. Among them were: an iron, a kettle, a lighter. And not a single washing machine. Bye…

The company was founded by German engineer Emil Rathenau. In 1883, he acquired a license from American entrepreneur Thomas Edison to produce an incandescent lamp. The company Deutschen Edison-Gesellschaft für angewandte Elektricität (DEG, “German Edison Society for Applied Electricity”) was founded in Berlin. The first power plant was built by DEG.

In the 80s of the nineteenth century, the company was undergoing rebranding. Under the new name - Allgemeine Elektrizitäts-Gesellschaft (AEG), it is known today. Around the same time, Russian inventor Mikhail Osipovich Dolivo-Dobrovolsky was invited to the company, who, a few years later, became general director.

In 1889, the founder of the company, the energetic Emil Rathenau, decided to use electricity in small forms and replace manual labor in everyday life with electrical appliances. The company demonstrated its first samples, including a washing machine, at a city exhibition.

The first automatic washing machine under the AEG logo was released in the late 50s of the nineteenth century. The new product was greeted coolly by the market due to its considerable cost. In post-war Europe, few could afford such expenses. However, there was still a small demand, which made it possible to develop this direction, reducing the cost of products.

In the early 70s, the company introduced a line of energy-saving automatic machines to consumers. Considering the rising prices for electricity and water, this approach turned out to be very relevant. This is what the sales level showed.

Since 1994, the AEG brand on household appliances has belonged to the Swedish company Electrolux, called the AEG-Electrolux concern.

In 2002, a generation of washing machines with a laundry load of more than 6 kg was developed. There is a vacuum system “System Pro”.

In 2003, the Lavalogic navigation display was introduced on washing machines. Contains 4 memory modes, the gentle washing program “underwear” is included.

In snowy Russia they learned about AEG washing machines in the mid-90s. Of course, there was no talk of any location of production on our territory. In stores you could only find German and Polish cars. Today the Russian market offers AEG washing machines with dimensions of 85*60*49 cm (narrow), with a load of up to 6 kg of laundry, with a maximum spin speed from 1000 to 1200 rpm and a price minimum of 14 thousand rubles.

Apparently, the influence of Electrolux affected the company's products - the internals are unified.

Among the advantages, I would like to note the unworn design of some models and quiet operation. More expensive devices are equipped with a dryer - a convenient thing. But if this convenient thing breaks down, you will have to part with a significant amount.

It is extremely rare for someone to come into my hands as a patient. If you have the money to purchase this brand, I highly recommend it.

ARDO washing machines

Any Italian knows that his city is the best in Italy, and Italy is the best country in the world. If you don't agree, it's a big mistake! Senor Aristido Merloni had no doubt: the history of mankind began precisely with Fabriano, a town of 30 thousand. where he had the honor of being a senator. Only one thing bothered him: past the windows of his office, young Fabrians with their families were running away to earn money, wherever they looked! Senor Senator, like a real Italian man, loved technology and decided to open his own business. To begin with, he chose the scales: the symbol of Themis, whose portrait hung above his chair. The Italians liked the scales of his small factory, and the first profit appeared. By the seventies, Merloni Co oxygen cylinders became the first and best in Europe. That's the dynamic this senator has!

The first washing machine “Antonio Merloni” was introduced in the late sixties. This machine gun incorporated all the innovations of the century, a special Italian design, and began to slowly crawl on its rubber wheels throughout the Apennines, and then to Italy’s neighbors: Greece, Austria, Turkey. When in the 80s ARDO washing machines acquired a special drum made of the best stainless metal with a structure calcined using a special technology, the washing machines no longer crawled, but flew and floated. And immediately overseas in batches of thousands. ARDO is a trademark of the Italian company “Antonio Merloni SpA”.

The current management has not forgotten the sunny town of Fabriano. Three assembly giants of washing machines are lined up here. Super - front loading ARDO assembly plant near Santa Maria. Top-loading washing machines are assembled in Maragon. Piaggio Dolmo specializes in tumble dryers. All products are licensed in the EU.

ARDO washing machines have been conveniently located in Russian markets and home appliance showrooms since the end of 1997. These stylish, reliable cars were liked in Russia. In addition, their high-speed drums take into account the special composition of our tap water. Having received the RosTest certificate, ARDO has its own developed dealer service network in the country.

Expert opinion about the company's products

The strengths of these machines: stability in any operating mode, low noise level, pretending to be comfortable. Some models are made with a claim to exquisite design. The price of ARDO is not intimidating, which is the reason for their widespread use.

Weaknesses are also present.

  1. Unreliable shock absorber mountings. Apparently, in pursuit of comfort, Italian engineers sacrificed the reliability of these units. Shock absorber mounts often break, and sometimes very seriously. I have encountered these problems more than once, and it came to repair in a specialized workshop.
  2. The electronics don't work well. It fails very often. Considering the cost of replacing the unit, it is easier to buy a new machine.
  3. The spring (tank suspension) also breaks quite often. Repairs involve significant costs and a week-long wait for the unit to be delivered from Italy. Which, however, can also safely break in the near future.

Conclusion: why do you need it? Look for something more reliable.

Mielle washing machines

Not every visitor to the museum in Darmstadt will guess that in front of him is a washing machine. After all, it is assembled from an ordinary wooden tub, rests on three legs, and has a side control lever with a hilarious drive. And in 1911, the great-grandmothers of today's burghers were delighted: despite the steep prices, they were inspired by the opportunity to get rid of the hard work of a laundress.

The parents of the unit: Reinhard Zinkann and Karl Mille from the small German town of Rheda, supplied it not only with an electric motor with a centrifuge, but also with paper with their own seal, which stated in pure German that they were responsible for the flawless operation of the barrel for 10 years. It was unheard of! For such a paper, some called them swindlers and even crazy. But the swindlers already had a good reputation in the separators, and it’s oh so difficult to deceive the German peasant. These simple, German guys decided to always be ahead of the curve:

By the end of the 20s, they had assembled their half-millionth washer;

In the 30s, the first all-metal drum;

In 1949 - the first compact model for the kitchen;

And in 1978 at the exhibition in Cologne, they hit their competitors right in the heart: their washing machine carried out the programs. As many as 16. Mielle designers integrated a real processor for the first time.

In the 80s, Mielle stepped overseas, but not where everyone thought, but to Australia. Of course, the company's managers did not intend to provide washing machines to the natives of Tasmania. It was a careful exploration of the English-speaking market, which was a great success: the USA and Canada submitted to Mielle within two years.

2001 The invention of the honeycomb drum is a world-class discovery.

And to this day, the German brand is a trendsetter and know-how in the European household appliances market. This is partly why Mielle is not the cheapest kitchen assistant. And partly because even today the washing machines of the brand presented in our stores are assembled from Germany, with all the ensuing consequences. Speaking of leakage. It is Mielle washing machines that provide complete technological protection against leaks, including hose joints. Testers are installed at the company's factories, with a charged test program for each model for 20 years of work! Why not, even if the engines are of our own production. In Russia, Mielle machines are of German or, in extreme cases, Spanish origin. Very rarely - models from the Bulgarian plant under the strict control of Mielle. Almost always the brand is equipped with the assembly logo - EU.

It makes no sense to talk about shortcomings - a machine worth 40 thousand rubles, by definition, should be completely free of them. The salt lies elsewhere. Does it make sense to spend that kind of money for household appliances? Yes, she will honestly work for 10 - 15 years. Yes, she is admirable. But with this money you can buy at least three washing machines of quite good quality. Moreover, if something does happen to it, repairs will not be cheap. It is a fact.

My personal opinion: Mielle - status technique. Agree, it’s not respectable to somehow put a machine worth 9 thousand in a bathroom worth 300 thousand. Well, for those for whom “image is nothing” I would advise you to pay attention to cheaper samples.

Washing machines Bosch and Siemens

The Bosch company dates its history back to 1886. It was then that the son of a German peasant, Robert Bosch, organized his own workshop for the production of electrical goods. It is worth noting that he chose the right time: there is a technological breakthrough in the yard - people are eager to implement the latest inventions in life. Bosch, being an electronics engineer by training, understood quite well how to do what the consumer needed. And most importantly, he understood what exactly this consumer needed. This was the reason for the rapid growth of the company.

Literally five years after its birth, the company moved from a run-down workshop to modern production facilities. Bosch recruits about fifty qualified specialists and orders equipment. The first product of the renewed company was a heavy refrigerator. It was on its body that the famous company logo first appeared. Of course, Robert did not intend to produce only refrigerators. By 1946, Bosch had several patents for the production of fundamentally new equipment. Such as a jigsaw and a hammer drill.

In the 50s, 19th century, a wild demand for comfortable household appliances arose in Europe. Robert Bosch rose to the occasion here too: gas stoves, dishwashers, vacuum cleaners and, finally, washing machines began to be mass produced and constantly improved. At the end of the 50s, the first top-loading washing machine with a set of programs appeared, and five years later the market saw the prototype of an automatic machine.

The trend towards globalization of large corporations pushed Bosch to merge with Siemens. In 1967, corresponding agreements were signed. It was in this form that the company invaded the Russian market and was received with a bang by the consumer. The demand for equipment under the Bosch and Siemens brands was characterized as steadily growing, and at the beginning of the 2000s, the concern decided to localize production in Russia.

Today, Bosch washing machines presented on our market are manufactured in St. Petersburg. It is almost impossible to meet a “German” in stores. However, in Russia only large-unit assembly has been established; the enterprise has not achieved high localization. Therefore, the samples collected “at home” and here are practically no different.

Expert opinion about brand products

Bosch-Siemens and quality are synonymous. So it was, so it is, and so it most likely will be in the future. The Germans don't even try to dump at the expense of quality. Car for 13 tr. just as reliable and washes just as well as a 25 thousand machine. What is the difference? Cheap equipment only knows how to wash. The dear one has in its arsenal a bunch of toys for the owner: notification of the start/end of washing via SMS/signal, a multifunction display and other bells and whistles “that do not affect the speed.” In general, the quality is very stable and does not depend on the model, which is very rare for washing machines.

Separately I can note such characteristics, as the reliability of the main components. For example, I have changed Bosch drum bearings only a few times in my entire career. Electronics suffer from glitches much less often than similar units from competitors.

I'll add a fly in the ointment:

Firstly, the exorbitant price of non-standard parts. If you manage to break a hatch or drain filter plug, for example, then get ready to wait a very long time for the part - they are shipped directly from Germany. It will cost accordingly.

Secondly, these are brushes. They are also carbon-graphite and do not last long. Fortunately, you won’t go broke replacing them.

As a result, I will say that I myself am a fan of the brand. I like it: it captivates with its honest attitude towards the consumer. Therefore, buy with confidence, without looking at the assembly plant. Bosch equips its machines only with spare parts made in Germany. Localization at assembly plants is minimal. This is probably the reason for success

Washing machines Atlant. Slavic roots

It all started unpredictably in Soviet style. In the early 50s, the people of the war-ravaged country had no time for everyday comfort; they needed to restore the country and rebuild heavy industry. This was the general line of the party. And although the overwhelming majority of the population had nothing against it, it is impossible to do without household appliances completely. This was understood at the top, so instead of a plant for the production of gas equipment, they decided to build a factory near Minsk, which was supposed to provide the Soviet consumer with more than 50 thousand refrigerators per year. Of course, there was no talk about washing machines, especially automatic ones.

Production began in 1962. And until 1987, the company produced refrigeration units for domestic and industrial use. And, it is worth noting, the devices were quite modern and reliable.

The idyll ended with the collapse of the USSR. Imported equipment poured into the market, displacing Minsk residents from a huge segment of the market. However, Atlant managed to adapt to the new conditions. In 1992, the company was transformed into a joint-stock company and became a completely Belarusian enterprise. Assembly lines for new products, including washing machines, under the brand of the same name were deployed at the enterprise.

The company did not reinvent the wheel and abandoned completely self-sufficient production. Belarusians almost completely equip their washing machines with foreign-made modules. The company is focused on the sales markets of Russia and some CIS countries. Atlant managed to occupy a niche market for inexpensive compact washing machines. And the company is not going to leave her.

Expert opinion about the company's products

I thought for a long time what I could sayabout the merits these cars and... except for the low cost, nothing came to mind. We can talk about compactness, but the same dimensions are quite popular with most leading manufacturers. Let my Slavic brothers forgive me, but they don’t make washing machines. Refrigerators were much better.

We can talk about the shortcomings of Minsk products for a long time and with inspiration, but this is a thankless task. I want to say only one thing: when you get into the bowels of the Atlant, you get a strong feeling that the machine was made “on the knee”. The quality of components is below average. The notorious glued drum, coupled with bearings of not very good quality, is an explosive mixture. The electronics were produced in an unknown place, or rather, in an unknown semi-handicraft factory in China. She behaves accordingly. It doesn't even smell like a reputable factory.

In general, by saving on the price of the machine, you will go over the financial limit on repairs. The verdict is clear: if you are not a strong Belarusian patriot - pass by "Atlanta".

Washing machines Zanussi and Electrolux

The company's first product was produced in 1916 in Italy by Antonio Zanussi, who was the eldest son in the family of the blacksmith Zanussi. Their first product was a wood stove for the kitchen. Seventeen years later, the company creates the REX trademark, which, to this day, is very popular in Italy. The company's products are assembled at a factory in Pordenone. In 1946, the company expanded significantly, increased production volumes, and became a large industrial concern. The success of the company is largely due to the successful work of Antonio's son, Lino Zanussi, who succeeded his father in his post.

The company employs talented engineers who are developing new types of washing machines and other household equipment. In the early 60s, the company launched the production of automatic washing machines under the Zanussi brand. Moreover, this technique did not suffer from “childhood” diseases and was highly reliable. They say that fully working copies of that issue can still be found today. The creation of washing machines was carried out by engineers from the company's Design Center.

In 1984, Zanussi merged with the Elektrolux corporation. The company's management took this step due to serious financial problems. Be that as it may, the cooperation benefited the corporation.

In addition to washing machines, the company produces gas and electric stoves for the kitchen, refrigerators, dishwashers, and air conditioners. The company began producing its first refrigerators in the mid-fifties at a factory in the city of Porchia, which is located in Italy. Today modern washing machines are assembled here. Eight years ago, the company’s designers released a new series of kitchen equipment called “Colored Kitchens.” This series includes household equipment, where instead of the traditional white color there are bright, colorful colors. In such a kitchen, every housewife will feel like a queen, and eating in it is a pleasure.

In our country, the company's products appeared in the late nineties and have already become popular with many customers. Today, the production of washing machines with a high level of localization has been established both in Russia and in Ukraine.

Expert opinion about the company's products

Personally, I respect this brand. Indestructible machines that serve faithfully for years. But Zanussi are different. Very different. Conventionally, products can be divided into two types: those produced before 2011 and those produced after. Early models are worthy of admiration - the resource is more than significant. The failure rate is minimal. What they are doing now... is, as a rule, an unimaginable symbiosis of Chinese components, European ideas and Russian-Ukrainian assembly. The quality is appropriate. It is close in spirit to our Lada - you never know what you bought, a vehicle or a headache.

I won't talk about the disadvantages or advantages. The real Zanussi has their own; the ones that sometimes sell them now have their own. I would advise you to find out the “pedigree” before purchasing. It would be better if the machine was made in Europe, you can try it. However, this is not a fact... as I already said, this is a lottery.

Washing machines Ariston and Indesit

Ariston washing machines are valued all over the world. But how did this brand come about? Who was its founder? And where are Ariston household appliances produced in Russia now?

The Ariston trademark appeared in the post-war years, or more precisely in the 60s of the last century. The name of the brand itself is translated from Greek as “best”. Its creator was Aristide Merloni, a famous Italian engineer at that time. Back in the 30s, he opened an enterprise that produced scales, electric heaters and liquefied gas cylinders. The company he founded begins producing household appliances. After Merloni's death, the work was continued by his three sons, Antonio, Francesco and Vittorio, who divided the company into three parts. The first two sons opened their own businesses producing household appliances, and only Vittorio continued the work of his late father. This is how the Merloni brand begins its history.

Elettrodomestici, which sells Ariston household appliances. The demand for products of this brand was especially high in the 90s of the last century. In the late 2000s, Ariston merged with Hotpoint, and they jointly began producing household appliances.

Today they are part of the well-known Indesit Company. Many types of equipment are produced under the Ariston brand. In Russia, this brand is highly valued and loved, firstly, for its first-class quality and reliability, and secondly, for its accessibility. Ariston washing machines were manufactured almost immediately from the founding of this brand. Today they occupy a leading position in sales.

Washing machines of this brand have been assembled in our country for several years. Thus, at the plant of the company IndesitRus LLC, located in the Lipetsk region, Italian and Russian engineers develop household appliances using the latest technologies. Washing machines differ from others by having many functions and capabilities, as well as silent operation. Every housewife appreciates their high quality, ease of use, many functions and options and, of course, reasonable price.

Expert opinion about the company's products

When talking about Ariston products, you should also keep Indesit in mind. The machines are identical and are produced at the same plant from the same components.

Among the advantages, I would like to note the stability of the machines during the spin cycle (they do not jump), user-friendly interface, and affordable price. The noise level is acceptable, but this won’t surprise anyone now.

There are some disadvantages, and they cannot be called insignificant. First of all, a cast drum. If a bearing fails, repairs cost a pretty penny. "Raw" electronics. Why they install vague modules on such famous machines remains a closely guarded mystery.

Conclusion: a common product typical of the low-cost household appliances market segment. You can buy it, but you should not use it when washing in hard water.

Whirlpool washing machines

It cannot be said that the poor state of Michigan at the beginning of the last century was the capital of the industrial boom in the United States. Crowds of people desperate to find work fled to the golden paradise - Eldorado. At this time, the smart and skilled boy Frederick Stanley Upton from Battle Creek remained an orphan and became an assistant to his uncle in the workshop. Unlike the seekers of the golden calf in California, the boy relied on his head and hands, and was right! The phenomenon of the great American dream has descended into Upton's small workshop! His Whirlpool dates back to 1911. - days of exhausting struggle for the American market.

The workshop initially took on washing machines. Americans are the parents of washing machines: it was in the USA that James King invented a machine with a manual rotating drum. The handle spun at the speed that the washerwoman's health developed. In 1904 The Hurley Company from Chicago patented a motorized unit. The first models released by Whirlpool in 1911 (then “Upton Machine C.”) had a number of accessories - squeeze rollers, for example. By 1927, nearly a million cars were sold at a price of $155, and by 1934 the fleet reached 1.35 million, at a price of $58. The exhausting, sometimes frankly unscrupulous struggle for the American market led Upton to an unexpected idea - to expand the market at the expense of its neighbors: Canada, Brazil, Argentina. And again he guessed right - it would seem that poor countries were actively absorbing the goods. By the beginning of the World War, the company was already building factories in Brazil, improving and strengthening the brand.

Whirlpool decided to look into old Europe in the eighties. Guests have already become a brand with a turnover of $18.7 billion. Equipment is sold worldwide every 2 seconds! The Moscow representative office began expanding into Russia in 1995. Whirlpool President Mark Bitzer characterizes our market as a market of high demand for vertical machines (the eternal housing problem)! Occupying the middle price range on the Russian market, the manufacturer is known as a white assembly brand. As a rule, today in our showrooms there is an Italian or Slovak assembly.

Expert opinion about brand products

As I already wrote in one of the articles about brands,Whirlpool, VEKO and ARDO are close relatives. Therefore, instead of describing qualities, I will tell a story that actually happened.

A couple of years ago, I went out on a call. The patient is a Whirlpool machine, diagnosed with acute schizophrenia in the control unit. I take it off and take it to an electronics engineer for diagnostics.

A week later, the electronics engineer calls me and tells me how he dealt with my module. He himself struggled with it for several days, but could not find out the reason (the electronics engineer is a genius in his field, without exaggeration).Contacts the American representative office of Whirlpool and asks for technical support. They ask for the brand number and model.

The answer was shocking - Whirlpool doesn't make this type of machine.. After much wrangling, it turned out that the company’s subsidiary in Ukraine had decided to make a breakthrough in the production of household appliances. They didn’t try too hard and stuffed what was at hand into their creation. There was also no problem with the choice of brand - the official representative of Whirlpool, which means that the folk creation will go into the world under this label. This is how the pseudo Whirlpool ended up in one of the stores in Russia, where my client purchased it.

In general, it is unknown how the Americans dealt with the Ukrainians. The consumer turned out to be extreme. By the way, the client had to throw out the machine - it was simply impossible to repair it - the original unit refused to work with the “Ukrainian”. The most annoying thing is that the warranty on it expired a week before the breakdown.

So, think for yourself whether it’s worth it or not...

Washing machines Veko

When entering the Republic of Turkey, a tourist encounters ram's horns at every step! Sometimes a portrait of a good-natured grandfather in a suit with a non-Turkish surname, Koch, hangs nearby. At first the horns amuse, then irritate, and finally inspire respect - the Turks patiently explain that grandfather Koç is the embodiment of the Turkish dream - he is the founder and first owner of the Koç empire.

At the beginning of the last century, Türkiye began to be built. Quickly and thoroughly! Young Vehbi Koç realized this even faster: in a year he entangled the whole of Ankara with a network of construction stores. Then fortune gave him success in the canned food market, then, like a real eastern man, he was drawn into the auto business and again success: contracts with Fiat and Ford filled the Turkish roads with Koç trucks transporting Koç building materials for the new Koç factories. So Wehbi became the Turkish “Mr. Twister” owner of factories, newspapers, ships, uniting in 1955. empire under the “Arcelic” brand.

The emperor of business turned his attention to household appliances in 1959. and directly from washing machines. After a couple of years, his stores were filled with cheap but reliable washing machines. In those years, the Sultan of Turkish business was still afraid of the tough European market and took a risk only in the late eighties. To the surprise and envy of competitors, the brand was a stunning success in the Old World. Today, every fifth washing machine sold in Europe is Veko! In addition, the next new model, carrying the ideas of know-how, received full EU techno and eco certificates. Arcelik A.S. under the Veko brand, by the 90s, contrary to cautious Western brands, it rushed to reactively develop the new market of the CIS and Eastern Europe.

Washing machines with horizontal loading, under the Veko brand, literally burst into our household appliance stores, making their way into the market, with an excellent price-quality ratio. In addition, Veko's management managed to gradually build a service distribution in the CIS. The first machines appeared here in 1997, and sales for 2012 grew by 9.6%!

For a decade and a half, Russian housewives have come to the conclusion: Veko is inferior to its competitors only in price, with a difference of $30-$40. In 2005, the Turks founded their own production in the CIS with a high level of localization. They are opening an assembly plant on the site in Kirzhach, which, by the way, is the only plant in the Russian Federation producing innovative 35 and 40 cm automatic machines.

Expert opinion about the company's products

For me, as a person who knows what’s inside the machine, VEKO, ARDO and Wirlpool brands are no different. Moreover, it often happens like this: I come to repair VEKO, open the panel... and there are “internals” from ARDO. Yes, I think this is no secret. Selling the same product under different brands is not a new “invention”.

I can't say for sure about quality. The Turkish (more precisely, Turkish-Chinese-Russian-Ukrainian) brainchild plans to attract buyers primarily by price and abundance of functions. But with reliability, not everything is smooth. I’m sure there are more or less reliable examples, but, in general, I see the EYECO often, I’ve studied it well, and I can repair it with my eyes closed.

The owners are worried about this car, just like its twin brother ARDO: breakdowns of shock absorber supports, tank suspension and a control unit soaring in the clouds. Repairs are not cheap, and are often of questionable feasibility. The fruits of globalization of production, what can you do about it?

To buy or not?

Probably, as in the case of ARDO, I would advise you to look for a home laundress in the camp of competitors.

Hansa washing machines

In the post-war years of widespread shortages, “Wromet” electric stoves arrived in Soviet hardware stores. They were rare, so they immediately became scarce. Gradually, technologically advanced products from folk Poland occupied store shelves throughout Eastern Europe. The designers and management of the plant did not decide on washing machines soon - only when the market in East Germany, the USSR and Czechoslovakia was filled with electric and gas stoves “Amica Wronki S.A.” from the city of Vronki. Since the 70s, the management of Polish factories attracted neighbors from the West - German designers and technologists - to the development, which immediately brought an effect - household appliances began to be actively announced at Western exhibitions. Since the end of the last century, HANSA has been cautiously trying to enter the market of automatic washing machines. The brand’s “daughter” successfully sells wholesale quantities of plumbing fixtures, and complex consumer electronics raise concerns among management, so early models are reliable, but conservative.

Old - new HANSA. Why new?

The HANSA household appliances brand itself was created only in 1999 and purchased by the German company “Magotra Handelsgeselshaft”. Subsidiary representative offices in more than 60 countries around the world, but there are still two modern factories - in Wronki. There are still not so many such monsters of household appliances in Poland. Their equipment with logos: Amica, Hansa, Gram and Premier found consumers in 54 countries of Europe and Asia Minor. In Russian showrooms, the HANSA logo with washing machines was pompously announced in 2000 as a discovery. The opening was successful. In 2008, HANSA received our "EFFIE Brand" award in the category "Household Appliances" with the philosophy - Hansa AestheticUm. Only in 2011, the first brand salon in Russia, ShowRoom, was opened in one of the central shopping centers of Moscow. At the same time, HANSA for Russia built a new philosophy of washing machine functions: 15 main programs, 3D-Wash system, Eco Save, ABS balancing, Bio-wash and foam control.

Expert opinion about Hansa washing machines

To be honest, I don’t often come across these machines as “patients.” Decent production culture visible to the naked eye.

The main advantage is that HANSA can wash quietly and efficiently. These machines have an original shock absorption and drum stabilization system. So that you don’t shove the machine into the bowels, it won’t jump around the bathroom or roar around the area.

The Aqua spray system is another argument in favor of HANSA. With its help the washing machine copes with any pollution.

To prevent the car from looking white and fluffy, I’ll add dark paint:
Firstly, the control module is damp, which, however, is typical for all modern washing machines.

Secondly, HANSA has its own “signature” feature, with which she “delights” the owner. If you ignore the characteristic signs of failing drum bearings for a long time, you will end up with a damaged shaft. For some reason the steel there is not of very good quality. You will have to pay dearly for inattention to the needs of the washing machine - repairs are usually impractical.

Conclusion: not a bad machine. Doesn't bother the owner often. You might think about purchasing.

Washing machines GORENJE

Slovenia is known for its Adriatic coast with emerald beaches and luxurious views of green forests, but people have always been hard workers from the land, strong peasants who lacked agricultural technology of various types. Demand created supply. In March 1953 The craftsmen of the local workshop unanimously chose an efficient boy named Ivan Atelshek as their boss.

The artisans sent Ivan to the capital, Belgrade, for help for the workshop, which was dying! Atelshek did not disappear from the capital forever. He is back. With money! The Yugoslav government boldly gave money for development. This is how one of the leading European brands was created - Gorenje, originally from the small village of Gorenje.

For years, the workshop produced threshers and reapers, and its special pride was its fruit press, which won awards at European exhibitions. By the 60s, already at the rank of a workshop, Ivan and his people moved to the town of Velenye, where he took on the task of launching a full-fledged plant and its products: electric and solid fuel stoves.

In the 60s, Gorenje conquered the young dynamic market of Yugoslavia, and even began to look towards Europe. A trial batch of products delivered to Germany showed all the shortcomings of the product, which led the plant management to the need to modernize: in 1963 they hired the first designer. He became the author of the now prestigious European center “Gorenje Design Studio”.

Cooperation with the Germans was also inspiring: the plant took the risk of building an automatic washing machine. She appeared before Yugoslav housewives already in 1964 - exactly 50 years ago! The washing machine with a stainless drum speed of 800 and 1000 revolutions also appealed to the Germans, who willingly purchased inexpensive and efficient equipment.

Gorenje is the owner of 150 patents, 34 medals for the special Italian style of technology: Gruner Stecker prize, Red Dot Design Award, Icograda Excellence Design Award Superbrands - Eurogrands of household appliances.

In Russia, the brand represents a line of washing machines for any choice, occupying, since the early 90s, the mid-price segment of the washing machine market. In our market, Gorenje offers models exclusively with Slovenian registration. These machines are not produced in Russia and, most likely, will not be produced in the foreseeable future.

Expert opinion about brand products

The Slovenians make good equipment. I don’t know about Italian design, but the reliability of their products is worthy of praise. According to the owners I have encountered in my line of work, GORENJE is verywashes with dignity.

You can criticize Slovenian cars for the price. It’s not that high, like Mielle’s, for example, but you can’t call it democratic. This was the reason for limited demand. In the end, you can find cheaper samples without sacrificing quality.

Well, one more thing: it’s better not to break parts of these machines that are not classified as consumables by the manufacturer. They are almost never available. You will have to pay a considerable amount and wait a week or two.

In general, if you like it, take it. You are unlikely to go broke on repairs.

Washing machines KAISER

Kaiser is actually an ordinary position. Since this position was given to German emperors, it is also a symbol! A symbol of strength, assertiveness, and indestructibility of an idea. This is what the founders of the trademark had in mind when they started their business at the beginning of the century in the USA with ships and cars.

Kaiser is actually a surname. Because it was owned by an industrialist named Henry John who successfully built the first shipyard in Philadelphia, the trademark symbolizes American assertiveness, success, and enterprise. Not a bad combination!

The founder of the brand himself, in the end, simply sold it to the young and dynamic group “OLAN-Haushaltsgerate”, with headquarters in a quiet and elite area of the German capital - Berlin. KAISER is one of the newcomers to European brands in traditional markets. In fact, production began with electric and gas stoves in the early 90s. Sales quickly gained momentum, and management launched the first batch of front-loading machines. The trial batch went to wholesale buyers of household appliances in Poland, and sold out instantly. The next one, at 10 thousand, has already been announced in the markets of the eastern zone: Romania, Slovakia, Bulgaria. A very small batch passed through a risky wholesaler to large cities of Ukraine in 1997.

Washing machines under the Kaiser logo became a little closer for the Russian consumer in 1998. Models with front loading and software weight determination came to Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus. Our housewives liked them with their budget price and original design. It is interesting that service centers in Europe willingly cooperate with the brand: it’s all about the assembly technology of washing machines, which structurally provide free and easy access to components and mechanisms.

In 2002 Together with the innovative, porous drum, KAISER draws attention at trade fairs to its original and stylish switching controls. A year later, at an exhibition in Dortmund, he presented a special vibration damping technology.

“OLAN - Haushaltsgerate” is a closed company. Particular attention is paid to the basics of competition, protecting your technologies and specifics from industrial espionage. In Russia, the KAISER brand is one of the top ten popular European brands, selling both frontal and vertical lines with European certificates and licenses. Washing machines of the brand are assembled in Poland. Recently, distributors have announced a Chinese assembly, but the owner of KAISER in Berlin neither confirms nor denies the information. He also does not confirm rumors about the location of production facilities in Russia.

Expert opinion about the product

Probably, the fact that I have not often come across Kaisers in non-working condition indirectly confirms the high quality of these washing machines. Well, or there are simply few of them.

Purely subjectively, it’s not a bad machine. Electronics that do not suffer from glitches and have a relatively low noise level. These are undeniable advantages. I don’t have any information about everything else, so I won’t talk about it.

Samsung washing machines

The fate of a Korean man is always controlled by three stars. For Lee Byung-chul, a merchant from Daegu, this is exactly what happened. Three sons - three morning stars - were given to him by his wife and the sky. Three bright business stars illuminated his path. The first star is rice and dried fish, with which Lee began his journey even before the war. The second star is the weaving factory that Lee and his sons built after the Americans arrived on the peninsula. And finally, the third, the brightest - electronics, which brought him fame, money and success, his sons business, and the Koreans pride in their country. Three stars: Sum - Sung!

Despite the beautiful legend, the third star was difficult to light. By the end of the 60s, the income of a Korean family was $80. This means that as many as 2% of all Koreans managed to buy new TVs and receivers. Samsung management decides on a cautious export policy, which by the mid-70s brings success - sales in Southeast Asia are gaining momentum. In the 77s, the company stepped across the ocean, directly to the USA, and, as is considered, successfully. Two years later, a branch was created in the largest market: “Samsung Telecommunications Co”. With the release of a new programmable model of washing machines, offices in Oceania and Canada, and in 1987 - in France. In the early nineties, growing exports forced the construction of new factories in the Czech Republic and China. By the mid-nineties, export volumes had grown to $10 billion. The market for both washing machines and all household appliances is becoming so saturated that worldwide markers are forced to introduce a new tough one - the ISO-140001 standard. In September 1996 Samsung is officially recognized as the first brand to comply with the standard. This is already a triumph!

The first Samsung front-loading washing machine was created by designers in Suwon and was announced to Korean consumers in 1978. A year later, a new, more advanced model went to Southeast Asia in a series of 50 thousand, and from the beginning of the eighties, the line of automatic machines filled the showrooms of Europe. According to the most conservative estimates, the Samsung Electronics brand is now valued at $19.75 billion! This impressive growth is facilitated by the corporation's constant innovative quest for engineering. The latest example is washing machines using Eco-Bubble technology.

Eco-Bubble also impressed the Russians. In 2011 The assembly of frontal and vertical machines began at the Kaluga plant of the Samsung Electronics logistics center in Russia, and since 2012. arrives in our retail chains. Grandpa Lee's Three Stars: Sam-Sung!

Expert opinion about brand products

Advantages

What can I say about this? I guess I'll praise the electronics. It's not bad on Samsung. Well, and a friendly control menu. What else... that's all.

Flaws

I don’t really want to pour out a lot of negativity on such a respected brand, but you are expecting objective information from me, so if you please:

  1. The period during which a “Korean” at least earns back the money paid for him (and quite a lot, as a rule) is no more than six months. The first thing owners encounter is the indecent noise of the machine. It looks like the signature “trick” of the “Korean”. This is especially true for narrow cars. The wide ones also make noise, but not so brazenly and unceremoniously.
  2. Further more. Towards the end of the warranty period, massive leaks begin. Moreover, this is not always noticed immediately, which is doubly worse. Often, moisture gets onto the elements of the shock absorption system and tank mounting, gradually rendering them unusable.
  3. Rapid wear of shock absorbers and drum suspension springs, which is the cause of the problem described in paragraph “1”.
  4. Poor quality plastic. I often encounter such a problem as the failure of the dispenser tray. On Samsung it bursts! It is almost impossible to restore it - only replacement.
  5. It is not clear what the drive belt is made of, but it lasts for a maximum of five years. Moreover, you need to change it without waiting for a break - a broken belt can damage the wiring.

From everything said above, you can conclude that it is better to avoid Samsung. And you will be 100% right. I don’t know why such a renowned manufacturer treats the quality of a particular type of product this way, but the fact is a fact.

Washing machines Candy

Ask any Italian what he has in common with Milan. Bend your fingers, they will list for you: uno - the ancient Milan Cathedral, due - the World Fair “Fierramilano” on an area of 115 thousand square meters. m. and EuroExpo budget is more than 15 billion! And in the post-war 1946. The Milan exhibition consists of dilapidated workshops and warehouses. In one of them, the brothers: Peppino, Niso and Enzo Fumagalli installed their washing machine. There was no longer enough time for imagination, so it was christened simply and tastefully: “Model 50”! So that the few sharks of the Italian business would not pass by, they rolled it out into the open and seated a girl they knew near the lid, who agreed to pose for lunch vouchers.

On the first floor - a machine with a centrifuge, they received 170 orders - the Milanese miracle happened! Since then, the philosophy of the Fumagalli brothers has been governed by two vectors.

The first vector is techno, which bears the name of Nizo, an engineer, constructor and designer of almost all Candy products:

1951 Niso invented the complete washing machine - the first in Italy;

in the 60s he equipped it with an expanded drum volume for loading laundry;

in the 70s, Nizo’s design talent brought Candy to the leaders of Europe;

In the 90s, a line of vertical units with new electrical and current protections was introduced, increasing electrical safety immediately by a notch.

2004 Candy produces Aquamatic washing machines and introduces Top Vision, with a drum up to 7.4 kg;

The second vector is expressive and sometimes downright aggressive management in the household appliances market. Little Enzo Fumagalli has a word:

  • 50s. Purchase of all assembly lines in Italy: La - Sovrana, Kelvinator Italia, etc.;
  • 60s the French become victims of the brothers: Zerowatt Gasfire:
  • 80s. Candy acquires the auto-drying monster Rosières;
  • 90s. Factories are being built in China with the brand of dynamic Shanghai, Turkey, Syria, Nigeria, Egypt. A new victim, the Spanish company Maus, is moving to vertical washing machines under the “Otsein” logo;
  • 1995 Hoover factories in Scotland, Portugal and Wales are acquired.

Today, the international corporation “Candy Group” is still managed by the Fumagalli family. The head of the Council is Peppino Fumagalli, the General Director is Aldo Fumagalli. In 2003 Candy signs an agreement with the Zavod Vesta company in Kirov under the new EDA brand. In domestic washing machine showrooms, “EDA - Candy” sells two new lines: “Candy - Vyatka” with a decent service network in Russia.

Expert opinion about brand products

Among the advantages, I would like to note the relatively stable quality of components. The brainchild of Italian engineers will work without surprises for about five years. This technique has a good margin of safety.

Kandy also has its own niche in the market, where this brand is known and loved - inexpensive super-compact washing machines. In conditions of shortage of living space, this is very important.

Disappointment sets in as soon as the aforementioned safety margin begins to run out. Repairing cars of this brand is incredibly expensive. This is due to the unreasonably complex design and the same compactness. The simplest operations, which would take no more than fifteen minutes on any other machine, will take a lot of effort and time on Kandy.
The glued drum, which began to be installed on the latest models produced in Russia, does not help to increase the service life.

Owners of washing machines of this brand note the complexity of the menu and the “slowness” of processing commands. Some operations are not easy to perform without instructions in hand, and a number of technical solutions are completely devoid of logic.

Conclusion

Not a bad washing machine, but it would cost less and be easier to repair. Purely subjective - I would never buy Candy for myself. There are better options.

Washing machines Indesit

Washing machines under the Indesit brand suddenly appeared in Europe in 1975. Ambitious Italians immediately began to push their way into the leadership of manufacturers, causing envy and hidden opposition from traditional brands of the Old World. By the eighties, the creative Apennine monster Merloni, under the leadership of Vittorio Merloni, began to look at aggressive newcomers to inject a little fresh into the blood of the old cartel. In the nineties, “Merloni Elettrodomestici SpA” bought the Indesit brand and half a year later Hotpoint. Since then, Indesit household appliances have rapidly rushed on the waves of success to conquer the European and world markets:

in the 90s, Indesit expanded into Austria, Turkey, France and Portugal;

in 95 - doubled sales turnover;

in 2001 won the Eurocompetition “Trustworthy Brands”.

By the fall of 2004, rebranding into “Merloni Elettrodomestici Indesit Company”. The metamorphosis was associated with the need for new, effective channels and the establishment of flexible management of the corporation’s brands. In human terms, Indesit managers decided to take a piece of the American market. The brand's representatives are the brand's washing machines, assembled in European factories. In fact, the Indesit Company produces household appliances from both Indesit and Hotpoint Ariston, Stinol and Scholtes. About 14.3% of household appliances in Europe are under these brands, and washing machines of various classes - 12.7%. The company produces 13 million units of equipment per year. The owners of the controlling stake of the brand are Vittorio Merloni, Esther Merloni and brother Francesco Merloni with a capitalization of $3.08 billion.

In our country, Indesit Company is not only respected: it is patronized from time to time. This is a special brand in our market and here’s why:

The company came to us during the Soviet era. The first Western manufacturer of washing machines, which began with the construction of factories: Vyatka and Vyatka-automatic; the “Stinol” trademark was purchased; new factories were built in Lipetsk; investments were made in a logistics innovation center - 77,000 sq.m. with infrastructure, jobs and a scientific laboratory; creation of a special economic zone in the Lipetsk region, investments in the Novolipetsk metallurgical complex; capacity of “Indesit Company - Russia” 3,000,000 units. equipment per year with export to Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Central Asia, etc.

On the Russian market, Indesit Company sells a line of front-loading and horizontal-loading washing machines with its own service segment and since 2010. consistently ranks 1.0 - the highest in the CIS countries.

Expert opinion about brand products

Indesit and Ariston differ only in the nameplate - everything else is absolutely identical. You can read your opinion about Ariston cars in the corresponding article in this section

LG washing machines

Contrary to the opinion about the “nationality” of LG Electronics, the leading South Korean tiger is not just a private company, but a family company. But the rumors are not random! In a dilapidated country, or rather what was left of it after the war and partition, in coastal Busan - the sea capital of the country of the bear god, Ku Ying Hoi registers the cosmetics company “Lak Hui Chemica”. Products: masks and creams, tooth powder, washing soap...

In the fall of 1958, Ku founded the Goldstar brand to produce electronics. Almost immediately after visiting the country's president, Park Chung-hee. Officially, the budget injections are explained by the fact that the president was a patriot. He did not like the expansion of US electronics in Korea. But evil tongues are gossiping: Koo and Pak were good friends, and the birth of LG is a fact of ordinary protectionism. One way or another, Goldstar filled Korean stores with receivers and vacuum cleaners, and in 1969. the first models of washing machines. Having given birth to the first machine, its founder in the same year goes to God - the bear, forever! His son Ku Cha Kyun takes the helm.

Koreans win with a low price and high-quality mass assembly. “Flooding the market” with technology is a successful strategy. Korean families are not rich, and reducing costs is a win-win way. As he entered the markets of Asia and Europe, Koo-son discovered that low income was not only the lot of Koreans. Cheap household appliances went “with a bang” even in rich Europe! In 1990, an office was opened in the USSR, then in Italy, England, Thailand, Cyprus, and Egypt. In 1995, Koo Cha Kyun decided to unite the brands under one LG Electronics logo. The rebranding cost millions, but it was worth it! In 1995, Ku - son, retires. By this time, we can safely say that his rest is well-deserved: LG Group has 110 divisions, 80 thousand employees, 4 design centers, 36 laboratories (R&D). Three dozen factories abroad and five in the country. Well, of course, Ku becomes the chairman of the empire! This time Koo Bon Moo is the grandson of the founder.

Today, the red icon of LG Electronics washing machines with a smiling face in a circle is recognizable throughout Russia, both in sales centers and in the company’s wide service network. In our market, the “LG-Rus” rating is 0.9 (according to data for 2012). This is second place! This phenomenal result of Korean washing machines can be explained by special attention to the Russian market, the opening of a brand laboratory in St. Petersburg, from where new developments and technologies are supplied directly to production near Moscow. Our housewives still love “Koreans”, although their price has not been affordable for a long time.

Expert opinion about brand products

You expect quality from LG technology. In principle, the Koreans did not disappoint the consumer’s expectations, and in the case of washing machines. There is a lot to praise these machines for. First of all, it's stable good quality electronics. “Crickets” prefer not to settle in it. Secondly, the quality of components is no less stable. Thirdly, simple and clear control of functions - even those who are familiar with technology will understand everything. And, finally, the quality of washing and the absence of noise accompanying it. Everything is great. Yes, ah price-quality ratio? And that too, of course. A simple and reliable washing machine can be purchased relatively inexpensively.

From all that has been said above, one may get the impression that the Koreans have created the perfect machine. And, apparently, to improve this matter, they decided to introduce direct drive into some of their models.

In my opinion, a washing machine without a drive belt is an attempt to make a good thing even better. Everyone knows how it ends. Main disadvantage of this system lies in the following: when the drum bearing oil seal wears out, the water that seeps through the seal is discharged through a special channel... to this very direct drive. Result: the control unit fails. The owner is faced with expensive repairs.

Another feature of LG machines is that over time, squeaks appear in the plastic casing during draining.

The result of all of the above: Koreans make quite decent washing machines. And here I would refrain from buying a direct drive machine. Its advantages are not obvious, and serious problems can arise.

Currently, everyone has the opportunity to choose the equipment that suits them not only in price, but also in appearance.

Deciding which washing machine is the best is almost impossible, because each of them is special, with its own advantages and disadvantages.

Let's decide in this article which washing machine is the best.

Modern manufacturers take into account the small space in the bathroom, and in the household appliance market you can often find small machines with great functionality.

It will be narrow (no more than 45 cm) or standard (from 55 cm). To do this, you need to choose a place where it will stand, and also understand what you will wash.

When looking for an assistant, it is important to know the parameters that you need to focus on when choosing.

Most machines have drums with a load of no more than 6 kg, but if you plan to wash a lot or pillows and blankets, then it is more advisable to purchase a machine with a capacity of 7 kg or more.

Since we're talking about drums, it's worth mentioning tanks, or more precisely, what material is best for a washing machine tank. There are polymer and stainless steel.

Polymer tanks are light, silent, do not corrode and retain heat well, but are easily damaged.

And stainless steel is a time-tested part that has surpassed plastic in terms of performance.

By the way, the easiest question: which drum in the washing machine is better? The answer is simple, because drums are always made of stainless steel.

Vertical or frontal?

By design, washing equipment can be front-loading or top-loading. Both options are popular and each has its own pros and cons.

Let's try to figure out which load the washing machine is better with.

Overview of frontal machines

The front-loading automatic washing machine is the most common type. Manufacturers are constantly trying to improve washing machines with this type of loading and are working to increase their potential.

The advantages of purchasing such equipment include:

The disadvantages include two points: the impossibility of reloading laundry during the washing process and a problem with the rubber gasket that ensures the sealing of the hatch during the washing process.

Which front washing machine is better?

Very good reviews of the model LG M10B8ND1, which is characterized by efficiency, reliability and functionality.

Super narrow machine with a loading capacity of up to 4 kg and a spin speed of 1000 rpm.

Most often the choice falls on Candy GV34 126TC2. An ideal assistant for a small apartment with a capacity of 6 kg and low power consumption. Packed with 15 programs and special functions.

Another model Bosch WLG 2416 MOE fits perfectly into a small space. It is distinguished by intelligent Volt Check protection, decent characteristics and 3D-Aquaspar mode.

For older people, a budget option is ideal - Bosch WLG 20060. The most reliable and easy to operate model. Not a bad load - 5 kg and spin 1000 rpm, 3D-Aquaspar.

The best narrow machines also include, the quality and reliability of which is beyond doubt. A large number of good reviews confirm this. Loading up to 6 kg, energy saving A++, spin 1000 rpm.

If we consider medium-sized cars, then Bosch WLT 24440 with a 10-year engine guarantee, a load of up to 7 kg, a drum with teardrop-shaped protrusions, a digital display, electromagnetic protection against leaks - an excellent option.

Korean model is not far away LG F – 12U2HFNA with a wide range of possibilities.

Overview of top loading machines

Top-loading machines first appeared in Soviet times. Ideal and indispensable equipment for small apartments. Today they are no less popular than front-loading machines.

Significant advantages include:

The following are considered disadvantages:

  1. low cost;
  2. lack of design refinements;
  3. lack of spare parts, which affects the cost of repairs.

What are the best vertical washing machines?

Zanussi ZWQ 61216 WA
– a popular model with good capacity, spin speed up to 1200 rpm, energy consumption of 20%, drum ventilation system, delayed start and much more.

Technical specifications

Efficiency classes…

…energy saving

The most economical in consumption are class A+++ cars.

...washing

Since 1995, 6 classes have been recorded - from A to G.

...spin

It indicates the number of revolutions and which spin in the washing machine is better depending on your preferences.

At 1500 rpm, the laundry comes out with a moisture content of less than 45% and corresponds to the letter A.

At such speeds, things are almost dry, but their appearance is often lost and you have to work hard to iron the product.

Class B is characterized by humidity of no more than 54% at rpm 1200-1500;

C – humidity no more than 63%, speed 1000-1200;

D – 72% at rpm 800-1000;

E – 81%, speed from 600 to 800;

F – 90% and 400-600 rpm;

G – the lowest rpm – 400 and the highest humidity – more than 90%.

The most common classes are B and C. The machine reaches maximum speed only in the last seconds, usually in cheap models this is no more than 30 seconds, medium ones - about 2 minutes, and expensive ones - almost 4 minutes.

Washing programs

Once upon a time, machines could please their owners with just two or three washing modes. They were mostly cotton, wool and delicates.

Nowadays, it is difficult to decide which washing machine is better. Because the manufacturer has packed the equipment with so much functionality that you don’t have time to use each of them.

What are the main washing modes offered by modern technology?

And that is not all. Despite the abundance of choice, 99% of the population uses a small number of programs.

Manufacturer

Of course, it is very difficult to choose the best one; the personal preferences of the future owner of the car will most likely play a role here. For information, you can look at the manufacturers' ratings and focus on them.

Each company has its own consumers and the answer to the question: “Which company’s washing machine is better?” - not easy.

For example, Bosh has good build quality, Samsung has additional features, Indesit has an affordable price.

Additional functions

There are a lot of them, but the main ones are useful and can come in handy, for example:

  • control system (presence of sensors for water quality control, child protection, etc.);
  • Aqua Stop leak protection (necessary and practical, it will save your neighbors from flooding and is available on almost all modern cars);
  • direct drive (the drum is driven by a motor, not a belt);
  • Eco bubble (more effective removal of dirt by dissolving the powder before washing);
  • delayed start.

Price

It can be very cheap, a little more expensive and quite expensive.

Mechanical or electronic control

Mechanical control involves manual switching of modes. This type is simple, but less functional.

With electronic control, the car is more complex, but also more independent. She will weigh it herself, collect the water herself, pour in the powder and calculate the washing time. After this, the display will display all the data and inform the “brain” about the washing parameters.

But not everything is so smooth, the machine will not work correctly except on a 220 volt network.

Buying a washing machine is a responsible and serious matter. After all, not many people can afford to change it every couple of years. Usually this is a purchase for many years.
