Register in the BlueStacks application. First launch of BlueStacks App Player. Adding a Google Account How to switch between bluestacks accounts

BlueStacks HD App Player is a special program that allows you to run Android applications on the Windows operating system. By installing BlueStacks, you get a shell on your Windows PC, into which you can download the desired programs and games directly from the Play Market without the need to use an Android smartphone. The emulator allows you to run Android applications in windowed or full-screen mode, and almost everyone can handle it. BlueStacks version 0.8.11.3116 (the latest at the time of writing this article) comes pre-installed with Android 4.0.4. A huge advantage of the emulator is that it supports Windows XP.

System requirements

The application is demanding on computer parameters. To run BlueStacks, you need 1 GB of free RAM, which means that if you have Windows 7, the RAM size must be at least 2 GB.

Required to run 3D games (depending on processor). Also, the video card must support OpenGL 2.0 or higher.

You can install BlueStacks by downloading the online installer from the official website. If you have a limited connection, you can find an offline installer on the Internet. At the moment, there are many assemblies with pre-installed games, but we will install them from the official website. So, download and run the installation file. Click "Continue" (Fig. 1), then select the location where we want to install (I left it as default), and click "Next" (Fig. 2). In the next dialog we see two checkboxes, leave them enabled to allow downloading games from the Play Store, as well as synchronizing games, and click on the “Install” button (Fig. 3). The installation of BlueStacks will begin, which may take several minutes (Figure 4).

Upon completion of installation, the emulator will launch in full screen mode (Fig. 5), and the built-in Android OS will be initialized and configured (Fig. 6). During the setup process, you will be asked to log in to your Google account to be able to install applications from the Play Store (Fig. 8), which will consist of two steps.

Click "Continue", you will be offered two login options: creating a new account and logging into an existing one. I chose the second option since I already have an account. In the next window you need to enter your login (Google email) and password (Fig. 9). The default input language is Russian. To switch to English, you need to configure your keyboard layout. To do this, click on the keyboard icon next to the clock and select the “Configure input methods” option. In the window that opens, click "Android Keyboard" (Fig. 10), then - "Input languages" (Fig. 11), uncheck "System language" and check the opposite: "Russian" and "English (USA)" (Fig. 12 ).

Then click the "Back" button (the first button in the lower left corner). The English language has appeared in the layout menu (Fig. 13), set the “Use physical keyboard” switch to the “OFF” position for mouse input from the keyboard on the screen and enter your username and password in the appropriate fields, then click on the “Login” button. Upon successful login, you will be prompted to backup the system (I refused it by unchecking the corresponding box), and click “Next” (Fig. 15). A window will appear notifying you about the successful completion of the first step and a request to complete the second step (Fig. 16), click on the “Continue” button.

You will be prompted to re-enter your password to log into your account, enter the password and click the “Login” button (Fig. 17). The familiar window indicating successful authorization will appear (Fig. 18), after clicking the “Let’s Go!” button. and accepting the terms of use of Google Play (Fig. 19), you will be redirected to the Play Store to install games and applications (Fig. 20).

Installing applications from the Play Store

To install the desired game, use the search (Fig. 21), then on the game page click “Install” (Fig. 22) and “Accept” (Fig. 23). The game will download and install. After that, it can be launched from the main page (click on the “Home” button, the second button in the lower left corner) (Fig. 24).

You can also launch games from the Android menu. To enter the menu, click on the button with a plus sign in the upper right corner.

When starting games, information about the control keys is displayed. To prevent the window from appearing every time you launch it, check the “Don’t show again for this app” box and click the “Close” button.

When installing applications, do not forget that the emulator has limited memory (8 GB), which is taken from your computer's hard drive. You can view the amount of remaining memory by clicking on the “Settings” button in the Android menu, and then “Memory”.

Installing applications from your computer

On the Internet you can find a large number of Android games and applications for offline installation. To do this, download the installation file (extension ".apk") to your computer and double-click on it.

When closing a window, the emulator's work does not actually end, but only its shell closes. To shut down the program completely and free up memory, click on the BlueStacks icon in the Windows tray and select the “Quit” context menu option.

Testing BlueStacks on computers of different power (video):

3D game "Asphalt 8". Launch in BlueStacks (video):

Immediately after BlueStacks App Player installed on computer, it will try to start and open an emulation session of the Android operating system on a Windows computer. Here you can close it if there are urgent matters. Then you can always open it again by double-clicking on the icon on the desktop with the left mouse button. This is what we will talk about in this article: how to open BlueStacks App Player for the first time on a computer and add your Google account for full work in the Android environment.

Launching BlueStacks App Player under Windows for the first time may be difficult. Although when it starts it says that it can take up to 40 seconds, it took me much longer:

If BlueStacks App Player does not start for a long time, there is a chance that it will crash with an error. There is nothing critical about it when a picture like this appears:

There is no need to be scared and immediately rush to restart the computer. Just click on the " Restart engine"and wait a little longer.

Since BlueStacks App Player emulates the environment ( not Friday, not Saturday, but Wednesday) Android, then his questions are standard. And first of all, he wants to know your exact location. Personally, I don’t see much point (I’m not going anywhere yet with Android emulation as a navigator). If it is critical for someone, then you can allow them to increase the accuracy of geodata:

The quest to complete the BlueStacks App Player login to your Google account will continue with a message screen

Add your existing Google account and sign in below.

You can create a new account at google.com on your computer or tablet.

I don't really know what it means login below, but click on the button " Continue" located in the lower right corner allows you to go to the next screen. =)

And here it is, the decisive moment to test your Internet mastery. Here you need to enter the username and password for your Google account. If you have problems with this, I recommend reading the article “ Creating an account on Google» in which I also described in as much detail and with pictures how to do this as possible. And here we must enter the email that serves as the login and password for the Google account:

If you manage to guess your login and password for your Google account, the question will immediately arise that it was not enough to agree with everything when creating a Google account, now you need to agree with everything when using it. But there is nowhere to go - if you want to use Google products, agree! =)

This may take a few minutes.

We wait, hope and believe =D

And at this time ( while we wait, in a galaxy far, far away...) you will receive a letter stating that someone has logged in under your account on your Android device. You can read it - it will brighten up the wait;)

Google is a big company and has created many useful resources, so it offers you to use them. On this screen, after finally waiting to log in, you can refuse them and go to the next screen:

There really are a lot of Google services. They didn't fit on the whole screen. Or is this in order to sign up as many people as possible to your mailing list? ;)

On this screen you need (I don’t know who or why) to confirm or replace your data that Google took from your account data:

Congratulations! Login quest completed! You can start playing or why did you install BlueStacks App Player...

All games and other applications can be found in the Google Play Store.

A free program for installing Android games on your computer, Bluestacks, will allow you to get acquainted with the world of games that are designed for smartphones and tablets. You can learn the Android system, all you need to do is install the system emulator on your computer and that’s it. Of course, try different software, in general the program is interesting. In this article I will try to write instructions so that you can quickly and easily understand what's what.

I’ll say right away that the article turned out to be great! But this does not mean that everything is complicated, I just tried to describe everything in as much detail as possible so that there were no problems! I wrote another article, I also wrote there about how to use Bluestacks, but there I also showed how to set up controls in the game! In general, read the article, I hope that everything will be clear to you!

BlueStacks App Player (that's the full name) puts a lot of stress on the PC, which shows how powerful smartphones or tablets have become. For more or less comfortable work, you need at least 2 GB of RAM for the Bluestacks emulator and at least two processor cores, and even in this situation, the emulator sometimes freezes for me. It will also be nice if you have at least a mid-level video card. Some Android games have requirements almost the same as modern PC games.

BlueStacks today is already a very popular program for running Android games on a computer, although it’s strange that I only learned about it recently. One of a kind and, compared to analogues, it seems to be the best in functionality, and also received financial support from such giants as Intel, AMD, Samsung, Qualcomm (not bad, isn’t it).

The program can be downloaded from the official website; by the way, it weighs quite a bit - about 265 MB, and in order to install it, you don’t need anything other than Windows itself. That is, there is no need to install any packs, patches, updates or a Java machine, which is very good, as it saves you from unnecessary hassle.

I’ll warn you right away that an account in Google or Gmail is desirable (but you can create one in the program itself), in fact, this is the same thing. So, to download a game in an emulator and log into your account, all this requires the Internet, so check that your antivirus (or firewall in it) does not block BlueStacks’ access to the network. I think it’s not worth writing about how the program is safe and all that.

So, let's install BlueStacks - run the installer, first the files will be unpacked:

After which the installation will start, where, as usual, you need to click Next:

You should not change the installation location without a reason:

The next step is to check the boxes for connecting to your Google account and communications, it’s better to leave them:

Now the installation will begin, the duration depends on the performance of your computer, but usually not for long:

After successful installation, you can immediately launch BlueStacks:

At the first launch, it becomes clear that the program seriously loads the computer, and therefore, if you still have some resource-intensive program running, then you might want to close it to avoid any glitches. The program for opening Android games on a computer has several processes in the task manager, of which the most loaded seems to be HD-Frontend.exe.. Why am I doing this? If BlueStacks is running slowly for you, then open the Task Manager and give the HD-Frontend.exe process a different priority, but which one? The fact is that it is logical that it is better to put Above Average, but for some reason, Below Average helped me personally, although this is surprising.

So, this is what it looks like right after launch:

You can immediately try to search for something, but I recommend first setting up the BlueStacks emulator a little, to do this, just go to the Android tab and click on any game:

After which the following tab will appear - click on Continue:

You will need to either add a new account or use an existing one. Since I already have a Gmail account, I will use it (if you register, I advise you to do this first in a regular browser, and then enter login in the emulator):

Enter your login and password:

We press enter, after which there will be a notification that you accept the license agreement and all that. After authorization, the backup and distribution options will be marked on the page; the second checkbox can be unchecked:

If switching the keyboard does not work for you, it means that English is simply not turned on yet, that is, only Russian is present. To fix this, you need to add English to the keyboard layout; how to do this, read this article.

Click on the triangle on the right again, now the second part of the setting, click Continue again:

Select an account and click OK:

The BlueStacks account will be automatically set up and the last step will remain:

Here you will be asked to log into your mail in a more familiar way:

As you can see, there is nothing complicated at all, but I tried to describe everything in as much detail as possible so that you can handle everything the first time. Now the program for opening Android games on the computer is ready and almost configured, almost, because we haven’t tried to install any game yet, but now, for the test, I’ll try to install the game.. Payback 2 - The Battle Sandbox (actually I wanted GTA first, but , the graphics are absolutely terrible) from the Play Store (by the way, there are a lot of free games there):

Game page, click INSTALL:

I confirm permissions:

The game is downloading (81 MB):

After downloading, I open the game and after waiting a little... for some reason the game didn’t open the first time, I closed the tab and opened it again - now it launched immediately, great. But it turned out that they were offering me another game to download. I closed it, went to the main page and there in the recently opened ones I found the one that I had already downloaded, launched it and again some kind of piano... (they offer to download this game!), only after some time I noticed a cross in the upper left corner... so it was just closing this obsessive offer!

After that, a splash screen appeared, I think that the game will still start... but no, a window popped up again, where I must allow or deny access to my data (to allow, click ALLOW):

After that, the game finally started, I can’t say that I really liked it, the controls are inconvenient (and even with the mouse, but maybe you can change it), but the fact itself is that the game started, there’s nothing particularly difficult about it, I mean launching Android games on your computer. The graphics are not very good, but of course much better than what I saw on mobile phones back in school, this is heaven and earth, then it was probably on the PC, well, or a little better

The games you played will be saved here:

As for me, it’s done quite conveniently, a lot of games are free, not all of them will really be interesting to you.. That’s all, the article turned out to be big, but even the most novice user will be able to play Android games on a computer.

By the way, I noticed another not very pleasant thing - after a while the program will offer you to buy it or install some application, that is, two options. True, not everything is so bad - the cost of the program is only $2 per month, which is not much, and if you select the application, as I understand it, the emulator will install it automatically.
