General characteristics
Type
Deciding on the type of device (phone or smartphone?) is quite simple. If you need a simple and inexpensive device for calls and SMS, it is recommended to choose a telephone. A smartphone is more expensive, but it offers a wide variety of options: games, videos, the Internet, thousands of programs for all occasions. However, its battery life is significantly less than that of a regular phone.

Modern smartphones can use not only regular SIM cards, but also their more compact versions micro SIM and nano SIM. An eSIM is a SIM card integrated into the phone. It takes up virtually no space and does not require a separate tray for installation. eSIM is not yet supported in Russia. Glossary of terms for the category Mobile phones

Almost all modern smartphones have Wi-Fi and USB interfaces. Bluetooth and IRDA are a little less common. Wi-Fi is used to connect to the Internet. USB is used to connect your phone to a computer. Bluetooth is also found in many phones. It is used to connect wireless headphones, to connect your phone to wireless speakers, and also to transfer files. A smartphone equipped with an IRDA interface can be used as a universal remote control. Glossary of terms for the category Mobile phones
Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, USB Satellite navigation
Built-in GPS and GLONASS modules allow you to determine the phone's coordinates using signals from satellites. In the absence of GPS, a modern smartphone can determine its own location using signals from cellular operator base stations. However, finding coordinates using satellite signals is usually much more accurate. Glossary of terms for the category Mobile phones

CPU
Modern phones and smartphones usually use special processors - SoC (System on Chip, system on a chip), which, in addition to the processor itself, houses the graphics core, memory controller, input/output device controller, etc. Therefore, the processor largely determines the set of functions and device performance.
The Lenovo P770 model features a thin body that houses a 4.5-inch display (960 x 540). The device is equipped with a 5-megapixel camera, a 2-core processor with a frequency of 1.2 GHz and runs Android Jelly Bean 4.1. The 3500 mAh battery provides up to 29 hours of talk time or up to 25 days in standby mode.

Lenovo P770– autonomy comes first. In this review we will look at one of the currently popular phone models, Lenovo P770. Why might it interest us in the first place? Of course, battery life and a high-quality screen with an IPS matrix, but first things first.
Equipment
The small box contains the phone itself with a huge 3500 mAh battery, a micro-usb cable, a charger with an adapter, an OTG cable, standard headphones and, what’s nice: a bumper on the back cover, which makes the phone more protected from mechanical damage. The paperwork is all standard: instructions in Chinese and a warranty card.
Characteristics
The heart of the device is a dual-core MTK 6577 processor operating at a frequency of 1.2 GHz. In addition, there is 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of internal memory. The phone also supports microSD memory cards up to 32 GB.
The phone is hidden in a fairly thick case, its thickness is 11.8 mm, and when you put a protective case on it, the device becomes even more impressive in size.
Like most other Lenovo phones, this model operates in two communication standards: WCDMA and GSM. The Lenovo P770, like most other representatives of this company, provides simultaneous support for two SIM cards.
The device’s 3500 mAh battery can easily last 4 days in average use, which puts this phone among the long-lived. Upon purchase, the phone comes with the Android 4.1 operating system pre-installed.
Screen resolution is 540 by 960 pixels with a pixel density of 240 per inch. The manufacturer could also provide HD resolution, but on the other hand, this would increase the energy consumption of the device. At the right angle, the picture looks great, but when you change the viewing angle, the image is slightly refracted. According to Antutu Benchmark 4.0 tests, the device scored 8458 points.
Video: Antutu test
Camera
There are two cameras in the phone. Front 0.3 MP and rear 5 MP with flash and auto focus. The phone cannot please you with the quality of filming and this is one of the main drawbacks.
Video from camera (example)
Appearance
The back panel of the Lenovo P770 looks glossy and, unlike soft-touch plastic, on which fingerprints are completely invisible, it feels completely different and less pleasant. It houses the Lenovo logo, camera lens, flash and speaker.
The front of the smartphone houses the Lenovo logo, speaker grille, light sensor, proximity sensor, 0.3 MP camera, 4.5-inch display and three touch control buttons.
The volume rocker is located on the right side.
On the top edge there is a 3.5 mm headphone input, a micro-usb input and a power button. There are no additional elements on the left and bottom edges. The phone fits well in your hand and doesn’t tend to fall out; it’s quite easy to handle the phone with one hand, unless it’s the hand of a fragile girl.
Results
The phone turned out to be interesting due to its ability to hold a charge for a long time, the ability to use it as a charger for other phones (via an OTG cable) and a high-quality screen with an IPS matrix.
At the moment, you can buy a Lenovo P770 for as little as $185 on the Aliexpress online trading platform. You can learn how to do this from the article:. Despite the fact that it describes the purchase of a different phone model, everything can be done by analogy.

Level 1 cache (L1) Cache memory is used by the processor to reduce access time to more frequently used data and instructions. L1 (level 1) cache is small in size and works much faster than both system memory and other cache levels. If the processor does not find the requested data in L1, it continues to look for it in the L2 cache. On some processors, this search is performed simultaneously in L1 and L2. | 32 kB + 32 kB (kilobytes) |
Level 2 cache (L2) L2 (level 2) cache is slower than L1 cache, but in return it has a higher capacity, allowing it to cache more data. It, like L1, is much faster than system memory (RAM). If the processor does not find the requested data in L2, it continues to look for it in the L3 cache (if available) or in RAM memory. | 1024 kB (kilobytes) 1 MB (megabytes) |
Number of processor cores The processor core executes software instructions. There are processors with one, two or more cores. Having more cores increases performance by allowing multiple instructions to be executed in parallel. | 2 |
