A nice bonus is that the platform with the smartphone holder is removable, and the model has a standard mount for cameras and action camera platforms. Such fasteners are available with metric and inch threads. All photo and video equipment is adapted for inch. You can screw anything onto a metric one only with an adapter, and even then the design does not inspire confidence.
