Find BenVista PhotoZoom Professional v2.3.4 on the Internet. This is the most optimal solution for enlarging photos taken on a camera or mobile phone with minimal loss of quality. Using this program, you use an interpolation algorithm, such as S-Spline XL. It allows you to maintain sharp edges and restore fine details when enlarging a photo.

Study the settings of this program. It has preset parameters, but there are also settings for more advanced tasks. For the first time, the first option will suit you. The program works offline. There is support for 48 and 64 bit images. The scaling technique - S-Spline, which is used in PhotoZoom Professional will help you most accurately preserve the quality of the photo.

Place your photo on the scanner. Select the best quality and largest size in the settings. Close the lid.

Start the scanner. Set the scanning resolution to at least 600 DPI. Use the selection tool to narrow down your photo scans. Then click the "scan" button. Save the image as a TIFF file.

Select "file" and click "new" in PhotoZoom. In the dialog box, set the size in inches (23 by 35 or 16 by 20). Set the resolution to 200 pixels.

Pay attention to the consistency of perspective and scale in relation to the road. To do this, create a new canvas by pressing Ctrl+O and selecting the poster size. Open the photo with the road. Drag the highway image onto the canvas and resize it using Free Transform in the Edit tab.

Move the tree image onto the canvas with the road and car. Use a soft brush to erase any areas that may stand out from the landscape so that the tree blends in with the roadside grass. Click on the road layer and then Ctrl+L. Change the first value in the Input field from 0 to a low value. This is done to give the road some contrast and reduce blur. Repeat the same with the car.

Create a windshield if it was removed during the cutting process, and a shadow from the car. To create a shadow, go to the Select → Load Selection menu. Create a new layer with Ctrl+N and fill the selection with black.

Blur by applying Gaussian Blur in the Filter tab in the Blur section. Set the radius to about 12 px. Move the shadow. To create a windshield, press I and take a sample from the inside of the car door. Create a new layer and use a soft brush to paint the windshield. Reduce opacity to 70-80%.

Give your poster a retro effect. Open the Layer tab and in the New Adjustment Layer section, select Gradient Map. In the window, set the blending mode to Overlay and reduce the opacity to the optimal value.

Use purple and yellow for the gradient. Create a new layer and brush with a soft brush (optimal color - #FFAE00) along the horizon and edges of the car. Set the layer to Soft Light blending mode with 20% opacity. Brush away any excess.

If desired, add text to the poster by choosing the appropriate color for the letters. Install a special bird brush to add flying birds on top of the text. Create a new layer on top of all, select a black brush and, placing it on the poster, click once. The birds will appear. Move the layer with the Move Tool (V) if necessary.

Merge all layers into one by pressing Ctrl+E. Duplicate the layer using Ctrl+J. Click the Filter tab on the top menu, select Other, and click High Pass. Set the radius to 10 px. Click OK and change the layer's blending mode from Normal to Soft Light. Save the result in .png or .jpg format with maximum quality.

Today we will create a retro poster with a space theme. You can print this poster and please your fellow astronauts =)

Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin, a Soviet pilot-cosmonaut, was the first to go into space when his Vostok spacecraft orbited the Earth on April 12, 1961. In this Photoshop tutorial, we'll create a colorful retro poster inspired by Yuri Gagarin's journey to space. We will combine stock photos (available photos of their various resources), textures and brushes with filter techniques and blending modes. If you're ready to get started, then let's get started!

This is what you should end up with:

Step 1.

Open Adobe Photoshop and create a document according to your desired dimensions. Don't forget to set a high DPI (150-300 dpi) and CMYK color mode if you plan to print your work. For this tutorial, I created an 800x1200px document with 72dpi (dots per inch) RGB color for web use.

Step 2.

Download and open starry sky image , use Free Transform while holding down the Ctrl+T keys, this will allow you to rotate and scale our image so that it fits on our poster.

Step 3.

Download a photo from the Internet astronaut . Open it in Photoshop and enlarge it. Using your Pen Tool (P), outline the astronaut. After that, copy it onto the space background.

Apply scaling on the astronaut against the background of space. You should end up with an image similar to the one below:

Create a duplicate of the astronaut layer by pressing Ctrl + J. After that, open the "Filter" tab, hover over the "Blur" tab and select the "Gaussian Blur" filter. Set the filter radius to 1.4 px and set the layer opacity to 50%.

Step 4.

Download an image from the Internet Earth and open it in photoshop. Use the Marquee Tool and select the outline of the Earth. Copy it onto our poster and place it behind the astronaut.

Adjust the saturation so that the Earth is darkened. Set the value to -40.

Hold down the Ctrl button and click on the Earth image. You will highlight it. Create a new layer and fill the selected area with black. Move the filled black circle to the right so that only part of the Earth remains visible.

Now let's use the Gaussian Blur filter on the selected black circle. Set the radius value to 30 px. By darkening the Earth in this way, we will introduce realism to our work.

And now let's set the opacity of the black layer to 80%.

Step 5.

Now let's add some highlights to our poster. Create a new layer and fill it with black. Open the filters tab at the top of the screen and hover your mouse over "Rendering". In the tab that opens, select "Highlights". Select "Start Movie" and set the "Brightness" to 100%. After that, place the flash of light so that it is at the edge of the Earth, and there is a glow in the middle.

Step 6

Download online cloud image and place it on our poster. Turn them into black and white by holding down the Ctrl+Shift+U key combination. Apply scaling to this image.

Now let's adjust the color of the clouds. Press Ctrl+L and set the brightness values as in the image below.

Let's add some flair to our poster. In the constellation Monoceros there is a protoplanetary nebula called "Red rectangle" . Let's download its image from the Internet and open it in Photoshop. Let's desaturate it, select it, and press Ctrl+T to place it on our poster. An example you can see in the figure below:

Select the nebula. In the "Layers" tab, select the "Screen" mode.

Go to the "Layer Mask" menu and select "Show All". Change the Foreground color to black. Press G to select the Gradient Tool. Use it to soften the edges of the nebula.

The shade we'll use is #640775. Select the Brush tool and use a large soft brush to smooth out the nebula.

Change the layer's blending properties to Multiply. Then press Alt+Ctrl+G to create a clipping mask. Press Ctrl+J to create a copy of this layer. Change the layer blending properties to Soft Light.

Now we need to find and download on the network satellite image . After that we will open it in photoshop. Put it on our poster.

If you double-click on a layer, the "Layer Style" menu will open. Let's apply the Color Overlay effect.

Now duplicate the satellite layer and apply the Gaussian Blur filter with a radius of 1.4 px. After that, change the layer blending properties to “Soft Light”. Set the opacity to 90%.

Step 7

It's time to add a planet to our poster. The easiest way to do this is from a texture. Let's find and download from the network rust texture and open it in photoshop.
Select part of the texture with the Oval Area tool and place it on our poster.

Press Ctrl+T and make our planet smaller.

Now apply a filter to the layer with our planet. Select "Distortion" and then "Spherization" in the filters tab. Set the filter value to 100%. This way we will make the planet more voluminous and realistic.

Let's move the planet to the top left corner and add some layer style effects.

Now let's create a shadow of the planet using the method described in step 4. This is what we should get:

Let's create a new layer. Now let's select a desaturated pink color (#eebbfb). Now, using a soft brush, create a spot.

Now apply a Gaussian Blur filter with a radius of 130 px to this layer. Let's set the opacity to 70% and move the effect back.

Let's create another green layer. Now let's place another spot, only this time at the top of the poster.

Apply a Gaussian Blur to this layer with a radius of 150 and set the opacity to 50%.

Step 8

Press Ctrl+A to select all objects, and then, opening the “Editing” tab at the top of the screen, select “Copy combined data” from the menu. Copy these objects twice to a new layer and set the blending mode to multiply.
Select the layer that is located immediately after the original one and apply the “Edge Enhancement” filter to it, located in the “Stylize” tab. Set the opacity to 20% and set the blending mode to Overlay. As a result, we should get an image similar to the picture below. The topmost layer on it is disabled.

Now we need to select the topmost layer and apply the “Edge Glow” filter to it, located in the “Stylize” tab. Set the parameters listed below.
Edge width - 2
Edge brightness - 8
Smoothness - 10

We need to desaturate this layer using Shift+Ctrl+U.

Let's invert the colors by pressing Ctrl+I

Let's set the opacity to 40%.

Go to the bottommost source layer and apply a Noise filter on it with a value of 20%. Select the Gaussian distribution and check the box next to the "Monochrome" mode.

Set the blending mode to “Soft Light”

Download retro texture and put it on our poster. Set the opacity to 25% and the layering method to Linear Light.

Step 9

Now we need to download the fonts League Gothic And Deftone Stylus After that they need to be installed. Let's write the word Journey.

Select “Soft Light” in the overlay properties. After that, duplicate the layer and set the blending method to “Overlay”.

We will use this method for all the text elements on our poster.

Step 10

We've moved on to the last step. Let's go to the "New Adjustment Layer" tab, which is located inside the "Layer" menu and select "Gradient Map". The gradient value should be from #1c004b to #fa9900. Set the opacity to 40%.
