For example, for shadows this is clearly not enough. If we mean raw formats, then the question arises: why use the stripped-down Photoshop Express if you can turn to more convenient desktop tools.
Quick correction
The Auto-Fix function is responsible for quick (one-touch) correction of contrast and shutter speed. There is no white balance option, but according to the description, the Auto-Fix function involves adjusting it. Other correction tools include blemish and red-eye removal - separate for people and pets.
Applying filters
The Photoshop Express toolbar is divided into “images” (Looks and Premium Looks) - free and paid filters. They are accessible through the editor interface on the bottom panel.

Summary. Photoshop Express should be regarded as a photo editor that is suitable for working not only with mobile images, but also with raw formats. Theoretically, integration with Adobe Revel would not be superfluous, although this service is relatively not so popular.
On the other hand, Photoshop Express tools are narrow enough to talk about professional photo processing. Yes, basic instruments and effects are available. But many features require additional options rather than one-touch action. Finally, there are no layers or brushes - and this is the main gap of the editor.

The AfterFocus editor specializes in blurring the background of images and creating DSLR-style blurry photos, allowing you to flexibly adjust the focus area, determine the level of blur, and other visual parameters. Essentially, it is enough to specify the focus point or designate the blur zone. In addition, AfterFocus allows you to customize filters for the background and foreground, and adjust image contrast using brushes.
It can be argued that the dslr effect looks convincing at least on mobile device screens. At the same time, fairly high resolutions are supported - up to 3264 pixels.
