Hello dear gentlemen, my name is Paul and I am from the Netherlands. I would like to share my project for making cabinets on my own. I purchased the speakers in the Netherlands, Germany and Austria.

Material appeared. There are some good tools available, but that's only half the job:

My garage, there is free space in it, but it fills up quickly:

I used 30mm thick MDF and 5x60mm screws. First I assembled the side, top and bottom panels and glued them together with glue. To give the correct rectangle shape, I put a piece of panel inside:

The next step was to assemble a rectangle at the bottom (from the outside), which will be the legs of the speaker. For this I used 40x40 mm bars. I will not cover the bottom with veneer, but will simply paint it black:

Here's what I put together in terms of components. 2235H 100% from Germany, 2123H or 2122H from Austria, 2425J + horn from Beyma. Two different 2405H super tweeters from the Netherlands. The appearance of some of the speakers was in poor condition, we had to work on them a little:

The next step was cutting out the holes, before which I once again made sure that everything was in place. I bought the installation kit on eBay:

I made a selection for the speakers:

I purchased a plastic pipe with a diameter of 315 and a length of 600 mm to make a box for midbass:

Inside the speaker, I installed stiffening ribs on all internal walls using glue and self-tapping screws, as well as additionally for attaching the rear panel:

Under the magnetic system of the horn midrange speaker, I cut out a panel that is glued to the spacers:

To protect it from moisture, I coated the inside of the case with a primer. The front panel was pre-coated inside and out in blue, reminiscent of the corporate color of JBL acoustics:

I started making the back panel for the speakers:

Now you need to finally decide on the color of the front panel. RAL5007 is more similar for the 43xx series, but I had a feeling that the signature blue was somewhere between RAL5007, RAL5012 and RAL5015. RAL5007 is too violet. RAL5012 is too light. RAL5015 is too blue.

So I started mixing and choosing between the resulting options. I have chosen three "best" options:

No. 4: 1/2-5007, 1/4-5012 and 1/4-5015 – still too blue;

No. 5: 1/2-5007 and 1/2-5012 – too light;

#7: 3/4-5007, 1/8-5012 and 1/8-5015 - too purple.

In the end, I narrowed the triangle down and decided between #13: 0.6x5007, 0.3x5012, and 0.1x5015. This choice may be controversial, but I like the color:

In this article we will look at repairing a portable jbl speaker, as well as how to properly disassemble a jbl charge 2. Our speaker has lost sound. When turned on, it does not make any sounds. The speaker itself turns on, there is an indication, the buttons respond to pressing, the phone detects it. This behavior suggests a malfunction of the speaker or output amplifier. We are trying to repair it ourselves. Let's start the repair with the selection of tools. We will need: a small flathead screwdriver to remove the speaker grille, a Phillips screwdriver and a multimeter. Carefully pry up the protective mesh with a flat screwdriver as shown by the arrows in the figure below.

Under the mesh we have two speakers, unscrew the screws that hold the speakers.

We take out the speakers and carefully disconnect the terminals.

We measure the speaker resistance. Should show 8 ohms. If the multimeter shows a break (infinity sign), then the speaker should be replaced. We check the second speaker in a similar way.

We replace faulty speakers with working ones. You should also check the speaker board for<<оторванных>> or unsoldered elements.
