Beeline re-registration. Re-registration from a legal entity to an individual

Many subscribers have SIM cards issued with someone else's passport data. The SIM card could not have been purchased from an official representative of the operator (without registration), or was originally issued in a different name. Meanwhile, situations periodically arise when you need to perform some actions with the number, which can only be done if the SIM card is registered in your name (replacing a SIM card, restoring it, getting a duplicate, etc.). In this regard, many people want to know how to re-register a SIM card in their name and what is needed for this.

Currently, every mobile operator provides the opportunity to reissue a SIM card. Now, in order to reissue a SIM card, you don’t even have to look for the owner of the number. If certain conditions are met, you can become the owner of the number without involving the person to whom the SIM card is registered in this procedure. As part of this review, we will tell you how to reissue a SIM card of any operator. There are several ways and we will look at them all.

  • Attention
  • Re-registering a SIM card in your name without the presence of the real owner of the number is possible forever. Only some operators provide this service. See below for more details.

Re-issuance of a SIM card in the presence of the owner

The simplest and most reliable way to re-register a number requires the presence of the owner. Moreover, many operators do not even have the opportunity to re-register a number without the presence of the owner. If you have the opportunity to come to the operator’s office together with the owner of the number, then no more problems will arise when renewing the contract. At the operator’s office, both parties must sign an act of acceptance and transfer of rights and obligations.

To re-register a number you must:

  • Appear with the owner of the number at the nearest operator’s office (both parties must have a passport with them);
  • Fill out an application for re-registration of a number;
  • Pay for the service. The cost of re-issuing a number will differ depending on the operator (MTS - 340 rubles, Beeline - 50 rubles, MegaFon - 150 rubles).
  • Attention
  • If at the time of renewal of the SIM card there is a debt on the number, it must be repaid. Re-issuance of a number with a negative balance is not possible.

As you can see, there is nothing complicated about changing the owner of a number. Before renewing your SIM card, we recommend that you go to the operator’s official website and familiarize yourself with the nuances of this procedure. You can also get specialist advice by calling the customer support center. In addition, you can ask a question in the comments, most importantly, indicate your operator.

Problems with number renewal may arise for those who, for certain reasons, cannot come to the operator’s office along with the owner of the SIM card. If the owner of the number is in another city and you cannot meet, he can issue a power of attorney to re-register the contract at any office of the operator. It is much more difficult to re-register a number if the owner has died.

In the event of the death of the owner of the number, the following documents will be required to re-issue a SIM card:

  • Russian passport;
  • original death certificate of the contract owner;
  • certificate of entry into inheritance rights.

If none of the above options suits you, you can only hope that your operator provides the opportunity to reissue a SIM card without the participation of the owner.

How to re-issue a SIM card without the owner of the number

It is not always possible to come to the operator’s office together with the owner of the number. Unfortunately, many operators do not provide the opportunity to re-register a number without the presence of the owner. You can understand the operator, because the absence of such restrictions would attract many scammers. However, some operators still have the opportunity to re-register a number without the participation of the owner, however, subject to certain conditions that allow the operator to make sure that you have been using the SIM card for a long time. For example, Beeline provides a similar opportunity.

To register someone else’s number, the following conditions must be met:

  • There should be no debt on the number;
  • You need to store 10 incoming calls and 10 outgoing calls;
  • It is necessary to save the date of the last 5 deposits;
  • You need to answer calls from Beeline if you receive any.

Conditions may be slightly different depending on the specific case. In any case, you need to contact the operator’s office and declare your intention to change the owner of the number. A salon employee will tell you how to reissue a SIM card. It is not possible to re-register a number remotely (without visiting the operator’s office).

Quite often, when contacting the MTS office in order to resolve a particular issue, subscribers are refused appropriate assistance due to the former’s inability to confirm their right to own the number. If the SIM card is registered to another subscriber, the operator’s representatives will not be able to help you resolve many issues. For example, if you need or exchange a SIM card, you will need a passport, and the number must be in your name. However, even if you are not the owner of the SIM card according to documents, this can be corrected. Knowing how to re-register an MTS number in your name, you can get rid of problems associated with the inability to confirm your right to own a SIM card.
In this article we will tell you how the process of re-registration of a number proceeds, what is required for this and how much this procedure will cost. We will consider all possible options for changing the owner of the number, including without the presence of the owner of the SIM card under the contract. You will also find out whether it is possible to reissue a SIM card in the event of the death of the owner of the number.

Classic scheme for re-issuing an MTS number

The easiest and most effective way to reissue a SIM card is to come to the MTS office with the owner of the number. Office specialists will help you carry out this operation as part of the “Change of Owner” service, which, by the way, is paid (340 rubles for subscribers in Moscow and the Moscow region). For many, the problem with this option is that before you re-register the MTS number in your name, you need to find the owner of the SIM card and arrange a meeting with him at the operator’s office. Unfortunately, this is not always possible. The owner of the number may be in another city and a personal meeting will be unrealistic. There are also situations when the owner of the number cannot appear due to death. There are options for such cases, but we will look at them later. Now we will talk about the classic scheme, when it is possible to visit an MTS communication salon together.
To re-register an MTS number in your name, follow these steps:

  • Arrange a meeting with the owner of the number at any MTS office;
  • When visiting the office, inform the employee of your intention to use the “Change of Ownership” service;
  • Provide the specialist with your passports;
  • Write an application to change the owner of the number;
  • Pay for the “Change of Ownership” service (price may vary depending on the region).

By following these simple steps you will complete the number re-issuance procedure. All that remains is to wait for the changes to take effect. Separately, it should be said about the cost of the service. If you are a subscriber in Moscow and the Moscow region, then the “Change of Owner” service will cost you 340 rubles. The money is debited from the account of the new SIM card owner, and you can agree among yourself how the service will be paid for. Depending on the region, the cost of the service may vary. You can check the current price with an office employee. The main thing is not to forget to take your passport with you, you will not need other documents. Some subscribers mistakenly believe that in order to change the owner of a number, an agreement on the provision of communication services is required, which was received when purchasing a SIM card. In fact, this agreement is not needed.

In principle, to re-register a number, it is enough to come to the MTS office with the owner of the SIM card and passports. Meanwhile, there are certain conditions that must be met. Below is a list of these conditions.

Terms of the MTS “Change of Ownership” service:

  • At the time of SIM card renewal, there should be no debt on the number;
  • The funds on the phone balance at the time of re-registration are transferred to the old owner of the number;
  • The cost of re-registration of the contract is debited from the account of the new owner.

Additional conditions may arise if the number is re-issued to a legal entity. In this case, before re-registering the MTS number in your name, you should first visit the operator’s office and clarify what documents are required from the legal entity and what conditions must be met. The above conditions apply to individuals. If you can come to the MTS office with the owner of the number, then there will be no problems with re-registration. If sharing an office is not an option, consider the options below.

How to re-register an MTS number to yourself without the owner of the SIM card

If for some reason you cannot come to the MTS office with the owner of the number, then the re-registration procedure becomes much more complicated. In this case you will need a notarized power of attorney from the owner of the number. Unfortunately, MTS does not yet provide another option. But some MTS competitors have gone much further in this regard. For example, Beeline subscribers can re-register a number without the presence of the owner of the SIM card and without any powers of attorney. Below is a list of conditions under which Beeline is ready to re-issue a number.

Conditions for re-issuing a number in Beeline:

  • There are no debts on the number;
  • You need to report the last 10 incoming and outgoing calls;
  • You must provide the date of the last 5 top-ups;
  • Answer calls from the operator if any are received during the test period.

That is, the operator does not require anything unrealistic, but this is Beeline, and we are interested in MTS. At the time of writing, MTS does not provide such an opportunity. We can only hope that the operator will follow the example of its competitors.

In conclusion, you should tell us how to re-register an MTS number in your name in the event of the death of the SIM card owner. Things are even more complicated here. In this case, you will need a number of documents that not everyone who wants to become the official owner of the number can provide.

To re-register a number in the event of the owner’s death, the following documents will be required:

  1. Passport;
  2. Death certificate of the owner of the number;
  3. Certificate of entry into inheritance rights.

As you can see, everything is not very simple. It is often wiser to change the number or continue to use it as before, without being the owner according to documents, than to spend a lot of time and effort on re-registration, ultimately not getting the desired result.

The procedure for re-registration of a number allows you to quickly change the current owner. If you bought a SIM card and registered it not in your name, then in the future you may encounter difficulties - for example, without the owner of the number and his passport, you will not be able to change the SIM card or get a duplicate. Changing the owner of the MTS number will avoid such troubles.

The number must be registered to the subscriber who uses it. Otherwise, this subscriber will be seriously limited in his rights and capabilities. But finding the person to whom the number was registered during the process of purchasing it can be quite problematic. If possible, you should visit the nearest MTS customer service office and re-register the number in your name.

Re-registration from one individual to another

Changing the owner of an MTS SIM card is carried out in almost all service offices. In order to re-register, you need to find the person to whom the current number is registered. Next, both persons take their passports and go to the nearest MTS office. Here you need to tell the office consultant about your intentions and give him your identification documents.

The next stage is filling out a paper application to re-register a number from one individual to another individual. After the office consultant has completed all the necessary steps, you will need to sign an agreement, which will be issued to you. All funds are transferred from the former owner to the new owner available on the account. The tariff plan and all connected services and options are also saved.

By the way, a service such as “International and national roaming” will have to be activated again, since it is connected within the framework of a separate application. All further issues regarding the transfer of the SIM card (if required) are resolved by the applicants themselves - the MTS operator has nothing to do with this.

What should you do if the real owner of the number cannot visit the service office with you? In this case you need to ask him issue a notarized power of attorney for the right to re-register the number. After this, you will need to visit the office with your passport and this power of attorney - after checking the passport data in the passport itself and in the power of attorney, the consultant will carry out the re-registration.

It is impossible to re-register an MTS number in your name without the presence of the real owner, even if you have his passport in your hands. Handwritten powers of attorney are also not accepted.

Re-registration from a legal entity to an individual

We already know how to re-register an MTS number to another person. Now let’s look at re-registration with the participation of legal entities. The procedure takes place with the participation of an individual and a representative of a legal entity. A legal entity must submit the following package of documents:

  • Letter of guarantee signed by the head of the enterprise and stamped. The letter form can be downloaded on the MTS website in the “Documents” section, or received at the MTS office or at the Contact Center;
  • A power of attorney for re-issuance, which will indicate the data of the authorized person and affix the signature of the head of the enterprise and a seal;
  • Application for connection to the “International and National Roaming” service. It can be signed not only by the manager, but also by a representative, if such rights are indicated in the power of attorney.

An application for connection to the “International and National Roaming” service is not a required document for re-issuing a number.

As for an individual, he will only need a passport. After re-issuing the number, he will receive a contract with his signature, and she will become the full owner of the number.

The subscriber has died. How to re-register a number?

If an accident occurs and the current subscriber dies, you can re-register his number to yourself (if you need it). To do this, you should provide the service office consultant with your passport, certificate of inheritance rights and the original death certificate of the current owner of the number. Without these documents, re-registration (like other operations under the contract) is impossible.

The cost of re-issuing an MTS number and other conditions

The official cost of transferring an MTS number from one subscriber to another person is 340 rubles. All money in the account from the moment of re-registration belongs to the new owner. How the former and new owners will deal with the transfer of funds between themselves is not of interest to the MTS operator, these are the problems of these parties. You also need to know that the fee for re-registration is deducted from the new owner.

If there are debts on the number, re-registration will not be carried out - be sure to pay off the debts before re-registering the number.

Attention! Long-read! Hi all. I haven’t written reviews for a long time... I didn’t have time for something... I would like to write in detail, reasonably (to have screenshots), etc. Although according to plan I had a review about another operator, but okay, I’ll put it aside and write about Beeline.

It just so happens that I am a fairly active user of the services of other operators, but I also have a Beeline SIM card. And I use it sometimes. Including 4G modem.
To the point. My first mobile operator was Beeline. From 2004 to 2008 (emnip). The first SIM card was not bought by me personally, but by my parents. I was probably 13 years old then. What kind of SIM cards are there? We bought a SIM card and gave away some phone. As I remember now, Motorola, folding phone.

And this SIM card has survived to this day. And I decided (2 years ago) that I should transfer it to myself. I use it (sometimes). But because SIM card to dad, and dad is several thousand km away - then I found out that it is possible to re-register without his participation. OK. It was for money at that time. And as far as I remember - 3 months re-registration. Like they’ll look for him (the de jure owner), and they’ll calm down and transfer it to me. This is the procedure. I put it on the back burner. Does not burn.

So, the year 2017 has arrived) And I think - maybe I should re-issue this SIM card after all? Went on business. I grabbed my passport and ran into the Beeline office along the road. Baltiyskaya street, house 25.

No problem. A bunch of young girls) Trainees. They delight the eye and ear with their greetings. But not more. In parallel with communication in the office, I correspond with the support service. I was told (via VK) that re-registration is free. This made me happy.

In general, Beeline has great support on social networks. They conduct a dialogue practically online. Better than others. So, I come on September 7th. As far as I remember, a young man (trainee) accepted the application with the support of a more experienced female employee. At first they wrung out their circles there for a long time... in the end they quoted me 250 re. Well, I showed the correspondence with Beeline support. Having made a face of displeasure, they continued to fill out my application (without questions about money). Did you want to rock)? Not the point. Conversations began - “Would the owner of the SIM card come here?” I don't quite understand. There is a procedure - it is apparently available both by law and by your internal regulations - why all this talk? Unclear. The application was completed in 10-15 minutes. I asked for a copy - they fumed... but they gave it to me. In the end, I leave, satisfied (more or less). As far as I remember, 45 days were initially assigned to me.

06.10 I write on FB in support of Beeline. How am I doing with the transfer of SIM cards, etc. Support responds - wait and for some reason already means 51 days) Okay. And, in addition, there is again this talk about the fact that if there was an owner, then this procedure could be carried out faster and blah blah blah. "We are waiting with you. We have made a request for clarification." Well done, okay. I am waiting.

27.10 I write again via Facebook. “What is the status of the application?” Beeline traditionally hits boys - give the name of the owner of the number, etc. I indicate (I will attach screenshots, of course). Beeline: "..the office was unable to contact you. ...Do you always use this /number/ or is there another one?" I understand that everything will not go smoothly and I’m starting to tense up. Me: "...the specialists /yours/ couldn't see the contact number in the application?" Which is exactly what is signed there - “Contact number”. On a separate line. Quite large numbers. Beeline apologizes.

I understand that my praise of Beeline in recent months to my acquaintances and colleagues (through the waves of memory, as they say) was not justified in any way in real time. And that one acquaintance was right, who assured that all companies in terms of the level of customer support (cellular communication companies) are approximately the same.

And here I also remembered how in 2014, when I purchased a 4G modem (supposedly with a stated speed of up to 100 MB - but in fact there 4-5 MB on the outskirts of the city is the norm) and the employee who even sold it to me I didn’t think to activate the service on the “4G” number. That's what the service is called - 4G. Free service to use this Internet. And I racked my brain for 2 weeks, either I’m such a fool, or Ubuntu has gone completely crazy and doesn’t want to run 4G on my PC. As a result, with great grief, I got the truth from the support service, connected it on the same day and left a claim against the employee (by the way, I bought it at the central Barnaul office - Lenin Ave., 39 - Prospekt shopping center). Central office))) Okay, that's the past 😊. Ah, but no one answered my complaint and did not compensate for my difficulties in any way.

Let's go back to 2017. Beeline apologizes and says: “They indicated your contact number for communication, specifically 9133.... we think that this is the number they will call.” WAT? "DO WE THINK???" Well, at least we’re not guessing based on the coffee grounds! Beeline...how low you are starting to fall in my eyes...

Me: "Do you think so?"

Beeline: "We are sure." And he sends a photo of a cute baby that makes little girls..... boiling water. But this picture didn’t touch me...not even once. I'm already on edge. I ask them a question - why didn’t they contact me in the chat? They said - wait?? OK. This is a showdown. Although this is stressful..."You wrote now, as before, to the support center, i.e. this is not our area of responsibility." They begin to blame each other. But what difference does it make to me whose area of responsibility? Are you Beeline or not Beeline? Answer everything together in front of the client, and only then arrange gladiatorial fights among yourselves over the “jambs.” I have already met such an attitude at MTS. They also always nod at each other there.

28.10 Andrey calls from the office at 65 Vlasikhinskaya Street. I go there in the afternoon. There are 2 specialists sitting. One seems to be an intern, the second Andrey is the head of the office. As long as I remember. The intern does nothing, and the manager...is engaged in gluing film for clients. Ok, I'm waiting. I wait and wait. Did. Took hold of me. The computer is frozen or their system is frozen. I waited for about 15 minutes. I wanted to leave. I waited. He gave another statement - different, not the one I signed in September.
Signed. I didn't take a copy. And in vain.

Andrey says that tomorrow everything will work. I come home and write on FB. I wanted to praise Andrey and Beeline... but no! Support double-checks my application... and... it turns out they should have given me (during the first or second visit) a different SIM card. Ahh...confusion. In the first office they are incompetent, and in the second Andrey didn’t even bother to clarify what was what. OK. The support service says that you need to go again. Finalize something there, get a SIM card and wait again for 51 days)) Already 1.5 months + another 51 days. And again this boring thing about how if the owner were with you, they would have re-registered it instantly... I have no desire to go. I promise them to write a review on Banki.ru.

But on November 1, a friend came to see me and, basically, having nothing else to do, decided to go to this shopping center and look into the office on Vlasikhinskaya, 65. They came... just in case, he gave his friend a phone with a video camera on. Well, I expected a catch again. A very tired girl (well, 30 minutes before closing) begins to solve my question. A friend is filming. The girl says everything is fine, now we’ll do everything. I take my friend’s phone and he goes somewhere on business. And here is the most interesting thing. About 15-20 minutes of fuss brought nothing. I signed the agreement again (which I signed on October 28 when communicating with Andrey). I confirm that I have already signed exactly the same agreement. But the employee shrugs her shoulders and can’t do anything and also says that “it would be better if they came with the owner of the SIM card” - AGAIN! Then he declares that he now needs to pay 240 rubles. He asks me to leave my contact details, writes them down in a book for some reason... I say that now I definitely won’t re-register anything. Damn this number) It’s easier to get another one. It's a pity that the camera was already turned off at that time. The most interesting moment. And they said it was free! OK. I’ll end here 😊 I definitely won’t refuse the services of another operator now. Honored unit and honorable mention!

P.S. The first photo is the same SIM card from 2004, still alive... Oh horror... it took me so long to write this review that the Banks logged me out... well, at least I copied the text to Telegram in advance. And that would be very sad. But now I’ve inserted and edited paragraphs in a hurry - don’t judge strictly! Now I’ll quickly insert photos for publication!
