Pin a photo to a page

Once the image has been added, you can easily pin it. This is done so that new entries on the wall do not move the photo down the list. This way, it will always be visible until you decide to unpin it.

There you can find the “Pin” item, thanks to which any image will immediately rise to the very top of your wall. A corresponding entry will appear next to it.

Initially, you need to open your images, finding all the albums there. This can be done in the “Photos” menu on the main VK page.

In order to add a “VKontakte” photo to your page, in addition to the one that is your main photo (avatar), you need to click on the inscription “My Photos”. When the photos are uploaded, you need to click on the “Send” button at the bottom of the page and in the small window that appears, click on the “Send” button again. The system will inform you that the download is complete and you have successfully uploaded the “VKontakte” photo. On the right side you will see the uploaded photos, and to the left of each “VKontakte” photo there will be an empty rectangle in which you can enter a description of the photo.

If you want to make some VKontakte photos available only to friends, and some to everyone, you need to place them in different albums. And for each album, set your own privacy characteristics.

Photos are added to the “Photos with me” list automatically after you or your friends tag you in the “VKontakte” photo. You can delete a photo from the “Photos of me” folder only by deleting this photo from the album of the person who uploaded it. If you need to save some “VKontakte” photo from the “Photos with me” folder, use the right mouse button and select “Save as”. It is best to crop the “VKontakte” photo so that only you are on it on your computer, using any photo viewing and editing program and then uploading it to the site.
