The verified item will be indicated by a green circle with a check mark that will appear immediately. And next to the item – Check data... near the marker for a certain period of time, two arrows will rotate in a circle, as if catching up with each other.

While this check is ongoing, you will be able to understand how you can register on the State Services portal. It's not that difficult. If everything goes well and the lower marker lights up green, this means that the verification of your personal data has been completed. But as a rule, it arrives at the specified addressee much earlier (within 5-6 days). But resending this letter will be possible only after a month.

Electronic signature

The conditions for confirming personal data using an electronic signature or UEC are described in great detail in the message that can appear on the page after selecting this option. A list of all accredited certification centers where electronic signatures are issued is published on the website of the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation, and the UEC will be available on the portal of Authorized Companies of the Subjects of the Russian Federation.

A short time later, after the letter with the confirmation code is sent to you, on the personal data page you will see a link to the service - Russian Post. Using it, you are given the opportunity to track the progress of all operations related to sending letters.

Finishing

After receiving the letter, you need to go to your personal account and enter the activation code in the appropriate field, select the Next button, and read the message that came to you, which will say - Your account has been activated. Now you are the owner of your own account and can use any electronic services of government authorities. It is better not to put off the procedure for entering the code, since this temporary delay may turn out negatively for you (for example, the code will be considered invalid). Below you will find information on how to get a verified account on State Services after initial registration.

How to create a full-fledged personal account on the official website of the gosuslugi.ru portal?

After you have completed the simplified registration with State Services, you need to create a personal account. A simplified account allows a citizen to use a limited number of government services that do not require confirmation of the identity of the account owner, as well as reference information. To access all services, follow the instructions below.

Filling out information fields with personal data

The first step towards full registration of a personal account on the official website of Gosuslugi.ru will be entering the citizen’s personal data. The person will have access to the data entry menu immediately after completing the initial registration.

  • Go to the official website of the State Service.
  • In the upper right corner, find the “Personal Account” link and follow it.

  • In the menu that opens, enter your data, a field will open in front of you for completing a full registration.

In the menu that opens, you will be asked to enter personal data, including: last name, middle name, gender, passport details, citizenship and date of birth. Also enter your SNILS number.

After all fields are filled in, click on the “Save” button, which is located in the lower right corner of the menu.

If you change your mind and do not want to enter personal information, click “Cancel”. After completing these steps, your personal account on the official website of the Gosuslugi.ru portal will receive the “Standard” status.

If a citizen skips the step of entering personal data and goes to the main page, the account will be assigned the status “Simplified account”. You can return to filling out the fields with personal information at any time by clicking on the “Fill out profile” link.

Examination

After entering the data, you will have to wait from 5 to 15 minutes. At this time, the questionnaire will be sent to the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation and the Federal Migration Service. There it will undergo an automatic check for compliance with reality. During the verification process, you can monitor its results in the corresponding menu.

In a few minutes, the account owner will receive the verification results. The result is sent to the citizen’s mobile phone or email. If successful, you will receive a letter of congratulations, and then the capabilities of a standard account will open. Standard registration of a personal account on the official website of Gosuslugi.ru will allow you to use services such as “Make an appointment with a doctor via the Internet” or “Register a vehicle.” But the list of online services will remain limited until you complete registration by verifying the identity of the account holder.

Verifying the identity of the account owner

In order to gain access to all State Services services, you need to complete registration by confirming the identity of the account owner. Full registration involves sending screenshots or photographs of your passport via the Internet. This operation is anonymous.

To confirm the identity of the account owner, the citizen enters a secret code in a special field on the website. A personal verification code can be obtained in several ways, all of them are free, but require some time investment.

To go through the final stage of registration, go to the official website of the government services portal, enter your username and password.

  • In person at the service center.
  • By registered mail, Russian Post.
  • Electronic signature or UEC.

Available service centers: branches of the Russian Post, offices of Rostelecom, etc. Read more about service centers on the official website of the State Services. When confirming your account, you must have with you an identification document, the one you specified during the registration process, as well as SNILS.

To find available verification centers in your area, click the Find a Service Center link. You will see a map with suitable offices marked on it. Here you can find out the opening hours of each center and choose the most convenient option.

Confirmation via Russian Post

If you select “confirmation via Russian Post”, then a letter containing a confirmation code will be sent to the account owner’s address. In the menu, indicate the exact address of your residence to which you would like to receive a letter, click the “Order a letter” button.

The code arrives by registered mail, which can be obtained by presenting your passport at the post office at your place of residence. This is the longest way to complete registration, since the letter with the code will take at least two weeks (in some cases more than a month). There is also a possibility that it will be lost. The next day after confirmation of sending the code by mail, the option to track the path of the letter will open.

After this, if the password is entered correctly, the account will be confirmed and you will be able to use all the opportunities that the government services portal provides citizens.

Please note: This method is not complete, as it does not give the user access to an account on the nalog.ru website. A citizen who has confirmed his account through Russian Post will not be able to use the taxpayer’s personal account.

Using an electronic signature and a universal electronic card

You can confirm your personal account on the official website of the Gosuslugi.ru portal using an electronic signature. To do this, log into your account, select “Identity Confirmation” and click on the “Electronic Signature or UEC” menu item.

Then attach the electronic signature key carrier to your computer. After successfully entering the identity confirmation code, the citizen will have access to all services of the government services portal. A verified account symbol will appear on your account page. An SMS will be sent to your phone number indicating successful registration.

What should I do if I have problems with registration?

What to do when when entering data in State Services it says that the specified SNILS is already registered? Citizens who have registered under a simplified procedure often encounter a similar problem. Practice shows that most often this is due to normal resource freezes due to high workload. We will describe in detail what to do in this situation below.

Why is the State Services portal needed?

This Internet resource is also called “electronic government”. It started work relatively recently - at the end of 2009. Its main task is one - facilitating access to services provided by various government agencies. Here, in particular, it is convenient:

  • find out if there are unpaid fines from the State Traffic Inspectorate;
  • apply for a foreign passport;
  • check the status of the account with the Pension Fund;
  • find out if there is a tax debt;
  • register the purchased car.

Registration options

You can get an account on the above resource in several ways:

  • by entering the insurance number of your individual personal account (abbreviated as SNILS) opened with the Pension Fund of Russia;
  • using an electronic signature.

According to statistics, most often citizens use the first option, since not everyone has an idea where to get an electronic media with an electronic signature. Meanwhile, just recently it was not difficult to purchase it at a Rostelecom branch. As of today, their issuance has been discontinued.

It is important to carefully enter all the data - you will not be able to create another account. Errors made during the process are one of the most common reasons for the inability to create a profile or log into your account.

When registering, you are required to enter the following information:

  • passport attributes;
  • SNILS number;
  • your own email.

Registration itself is a simple process. It is carried out in this order:

  • go to the site itself;
  • indicate your region of residence, full name, phone number, e-mail;
  • press the registration button.

This is where the first common mistake lies - it is not necessary to indicate your telephone number, and many do not enter it.

However, this is wrong: those who did not write the number, if something happens, will not be able to quickly restore access to the account or solve problems that arose during the process of creating a standard or confirmed account.

Depending on the level of verification, access to many additional and extremely necessary functions of the system is available. In particular, the lowest, simplified (and by and large standard) status allows a maximum of:

  • pay for utilities;
  • make an appointment with a doctor;
  • view general information.

Only a verified account allows you to fully use all of the portal’s tools.

After completing the first stage, you will receive an email with a confirmation link. It leads back to the site.

Then you just have to come up with a password. Be sure to use a complex combination of numbers and letters. Save it somewhere on a piece of paper so you don’t forget.

Account Verification

It is advisable to do this immediately after the initial registration, without delaying the matter. To do this, enter directly into your profile:

  • SNILS;
  • passport details.

Then you need to wait until their verification through the Pension Fund and other government agencies is completed. When this happens, all that remains is to confirm your identity. There are several options here:

  • contact the service center;
  • request a verification code to your mailing address;
  • use an electronic signature or UEC.

If SNILS is not accepted by the system

An important point: clearly check that you have entered all the data correctly. If no error is found, immediately contact technical support for help. A special form is available on the website itself. It is their function to find out the causes of the resulting failure. The essence of the problem should be described in great detail in the letter, since the speed of its elimination directly depends on this.

For what reason does SNILS fail verification? In general, there are several factors here. Most often, this happens if the database used has not been updated for a long time, and accordingly, the system is not able to carry out proper verification. Also, failures often occur, which we wrote about at the beginning of the article. In certain periods, the site is simply unable to verify information due to critical loading. The best decision here is to wait a few hours or try to log in the next day.

Alternatively, an error was made when entering data directly into the Pension Fund. To find out, you will need to come to the organization in person with your passport and SNILS card. Specialists will compare the information and if any inaccuracies are found, make appropriate changes.

How is SNILS checked?

A special algorithm is used here. As you know, the number consists of 11 digits (spaces should not be taken into account). Its format is as follows: XXX-XXX-XXX YY. In this case, the last two positions are a control number, which is used for verification. It is output as follows:

  • each digit is multiplied by the opposite value to its location, that is, the first by 9, the second by 8, and so on;
  • the result is summed up;
  • if the result is a number less than 100, then it will be the control.

When the total turns out to be 100 or 101, the control value 00 is used. In a situation where the total number is greater, it is divided by 101 and the last two digits of the number are determined in this way.

As you can easily see, the algorithm is quite complex and therefore often fails in the end.
